Best service ive ever received in a fish and chip shop! The young guy behind the counter was so lovely and helpful! Cleanest take away shop ive ever been in. And good prices to! Such an asset for albany!

Was told when visiting Albany we should try your fish and chips, we were staying just around the corner, well it was fabulous and I highly recommend a visit.
Was told about this place at Middleton beach caravan park, needless to say it was well worth the visit. Beautiful large serves of fresh seafood of many varieties. I haven't had Scallops in years and they were fantastic ( roe on and no stingray meat ) �

My husband and I taste test fish and chips all around the world, we were so impressed with the food (mostly) we both had the southwest flathead, it was the first time my husband (who is from Canada) had ever eaten it, it was beautifully cooked and presented. We will definitely recommend Hooked on to anyone who wants to listen. Thank you.
Great decor. Very busy when we were there and their service and attention to detail was very very good. Crispy batter and really hot chips when served !! Coronas were only $6. Winning !!! Loved the meal.

We can't fault the food or the service. We really enjoyed the vibe of the place. One suggestion, is to add baby change facilities in the toilets. Keep up the awesome work :)

Very good fish. I really enjoyed that the menu has salad options which most fish and chip shops don't. The staff provided quality service. The ambience is not expected to be amazing but it was clean and not rowdy. My family enjoyed the fish burger while I ordered the healthy bowl with grilled fish. I feel maybe one more fillet of fish would have been nice but the meal was still very filling. The ingredients of the salad was better then some of the nearby wineries.
The chips were generic compared to freshly made chips you can get such as the Elephant Cider company.
Definitely better than Ocean and Paddock which is down the road.

Cheap and cheerful, bright venue with lots of space. Staff are friendly. Had the seafood basket but unfortunately the fish was imported, the other dishes were all local fish. There were some combos I would have liked separate parts from, like the octopus, but there didn't seem to be the option.
Quick service and pleasant staff. It was one of the best fish burgers I've ever had and I'll definitely recommend this to anyone heading down to Albany.
Been here twice now in the past 6 months and absolutely cannot fault the service and also the food!
Unfortunately we had to have take away this time due to covid but it didn’t change the freshness and flavour of all our meals-
