I prefer to and have always supported local businesses. Buying my coffee beans and products from here despite the added expense. Not any more after the abuse I received from the owner. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect over my medical condition. I am unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition and have a valid Drs written exemption, which I willingly offered to show him. He denied me service and told me to leave because he refused to even consider it. I left crying and sat in the car and called the police. Unfortunately because I had left the premises there was nothing they could do. There is absolutely no way I will or any of my friends will be back. There are many other wonderful places we can go where they accept my medical condition and exemption. Certainly do not recommend here.

Best coffee in Albany! These guys roast their own beans and make great dine-in and takeaway coffee. There's a selection of delicious muffins, pastries and sweets as well as a wide range of coffee gear including keep cups, accessories, filters and more. Great cosy vibe with parking available out the back - highly recommend!

Lovely cafe for a coffee - the decaf still tastes amazing. Would definitely check them out. I also bought coffee beans home cos they smell soo good!!

The Naked Bean is a fabulous 'Must Stop' cafe in Albany. The coffee is excellent, the food varied and delicious, and the decor and ambience is funky and eclectic....oh and the staff are exceptional at giving great service. Conveniently located on the way to Middelton Beach, not far from town with onsite parking bays. Naked Bean has an atmosphere that invites you to wander about exploring the many nooks and crannies they have in this converted service station, where you can find that comfy chair and right light to relax and enjoy the amazing coffee.

Best coffee with small selection of very delicious baked goods. Enjoyed a tasty bacon & egg pie with our coffees and a yummy sausage roll

Went for a couple take away coffees early this morning as wife, kids and I are away in Albany on a short break. Was asked to present my papers by employee #1 - mask exemption and vax status which I duly complied with. Then employees #2 also asked "papers please" and then asked me to produce photo ID which I had left with my wallet in AirBNB (I only brought $20) and so was denied service and this despite any number of forms of identification on my phone that confirm who i really am including immunisation register, two email addresses etc. Then... presumably the owner comes out to the alfresco area where I'm leaving who also asks to see my papers... I showed him and he then said I would be welcome to grab a coffee. No thanks. I'll reserve my patronage for businesses that do not discriminate. I was made to feel like a criminal, an outcast from society... dare I say a small window into how a Jewish person must've felt in Berlin during the summer of '38 at this place. Got my coffee at RATS down the road.

Four 'coffee snobs' travelled from Sydney to Broken Hill to Port Augusta across the Nullarbor to Norseman to Esperance to Albany to Perth to Kalgoorlie to Norseman back across the Nullarbor to Ceduna to Geelong via The Great Ocean Road to Albury and back to Sydney. We tried to find the best coffee wherever we were and I have to say that not only is this the best coffee of the whole trip but probably the best I have EVER had. That was a general opinion of the group too. The egg and bacon breakfast pastry wasn't too shabby either. Very highly recommended. Definitely going back one day!

Great coffee! Cup size was my only issue..when you order a large and their version of a large is my version of a regular. Oh and the carrot cake was delicious😊

The best coffee in town with the nice ambiance plus the smells of the roast coffee so perfect...

Hi. Just watcching Craig Reucassell #waronwaste. Do you offer a discount if people bring their own cups. A number of Melbourne and Sydney cafes are offering a $0.50 discount to encourage use of recyclable cups instead of using disposable paper cups

Had breakkie here before travelling to Denmark. Nice ambience and friendly staff. The coffee and food are awesome - flavourful. The owner is very nice to give us a tour in his factory area. Learnt about coffee and most importantly his passion about coffee. A place worth going if you are in Albany.

I can imagine this place gets quite crowded. It does have one of my pet hates - most of the food wasn't labelled, and there are no visible prices for it. The coffee and hot chocolate is nice, and the food is pretty decent. The almond croissant actually had almond paste on it, which I've only seen at Sugar and Nice (normally it's just almond flakes on top).

The coffee was drinkable but has a very weak bean. The milk was prepared nicely for our coffees. The food smelt and looked amazing! I got there at 7:40 just after opening time and the food was all fresh and smelling great!

Only stopped in for a coffee, but it was hot and the beans were delicious. The food looked great. Staff service was pleasant and fairly quick, despite the Thursday morning rush!

This place has been all the rage so I though I would give it a go!
I got a mocha which taste burnt and very watery.
The cakes were delicious though.

Great coffee, you can actually taste the coffee and not just warm milk. Muffins and dampers are also an excellent accompaniment with sweet and savoury options.

Very nice coffee and muffins (there's no labels on any of the cakes to tell you what they are though..). Love the layout of the cafe, it's clean and well looked after. Worth the stop if you're passing through and in need of a real coffee.

On Point. Always a winner. Coffee kills it! So good!

New Expanded Joint. The Naked Bean has moved! A larger space gives them the ability to still roast their coffee, but now that's downstairs, while upstairs they have a kitchen to bake fresh cakes, slices and sausage rolls to go with their beautiful coffee.

It's still the best coffee in town - you either go here or to one of the cafes around town that serves their coffee if you're serious about coffee.
Alfred
Nice Service. I am not qualified to rank their coffee yet as we arrived the shop late and they shut the machine down by 4pm.
Not a problem, the nice owner and staff got us some recommendations on the coffee beans we want. And we are happy to buy them and try at home !
Definitely we will be back !
Foodie77
Great coffee with a buzzing atmosphere and aroma to awaken your senses as soon as you walk through the door. Home style muffins are freshly baked and worth a try ;))
Helen
Consistently the best coffee in Albany. The cakes and pastries are divine too

Without doubt the best coffee in town. Service is very friendly, love sitting at the big long table where you end up joining in conversations with the other customers. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent coffee and service. Fantastic coffee and way down south in Albany. Having recently arrived in Perth from Melbourne, we are constantly asking Perth baristas for strong coffee as opposed to warm milk. Naked Bean nailed the strength without having to discuss it. The service was excellent, extending to recommendations on coffee beans to take home and sights to see on the drive back to Perth. Yes, there is limited seats and generally lots of people in there, but that's because the coffee is excellent.
Sierra
Awesome coffee. By far the best coffee in town! Not a very cozy place to sit but if you are after a seriously good coffee it is the only place to come.

Truly great coffee!.... :))
