The views and food are world class. Modern Australian food with a diverse menu. Friendly staff, fast service and comfortable seating. Great restaurant for a high quality lunch.

The staff ingored us and weren't welcoming at all. They left us standing at the front for approx 5 mins with a sign to say wait to be seated. The view and food are very nice but reasonable for what you pay. The acoustics are good for a pleasant conversation. The coffee was a decent standard with the iced chai tasting like barely spiced milk. Would not recommend for the treatment by the staff.

Absolutely love this restaurant. A group of us go regularly for lunch and it is always an extremely pleasant dining experience in ambience and food. Staff are always pleasant and accommodating. Thumbs up

We arrived at restaurant at 12.30, we were shown our table, we ordered a coffee & tea with garlic bread & a ham special. There was 3 tables of 2. 1 table of 4 & 1 table of 14/16 people. All tables had been served their meal. We got our drink in ok time. Another couple arrived & a man took their order. The table of 4 finished their meal & the lady took their desert, all the time our table & other couple waited, to our surprise the desert was bought out & still we waited. But when the other couple got their hot meal, which was ordered after our garlic bread Bob went to counter & was told it was coming. We finished our drink & still waited. By 1.30 & still no food we left. We believe the lady was upset we did not want a big meal. She also did not write out order down, so did she forget to put our order in, we do not know. But after touring Australia for 2 years this has been the only bad review I have ever written. Surly the Albany Entertainment Center should be better run. The view was beautiful, & such potential to be a five star restaurant.

Took my man here yesterday for Fathers Day lunch and have to say everything was superb. Mixed grill was man sized and cooked perfectly. I had Pork Belly with Pear Salad which was so delicious. Desserts and coffee and service was excellent - Thankyou Craig! Will be back!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch overlooking the water. A nice area especially with the added presence of pelicans showing off their landing and takeoff skills

Had lunch there back in April and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  Great views and the fish of the day was tasty.  Also had a bottle shop next door which came in handy!

What a great find. The restaurant has got to be one of the best in Albany. My wife and I had a superb meal there this week with no complaints at all, the service was excellant and the staff friendly but not over the top.The views from the dining room must be the best in Albany , if they keep up to that standard they will be the best in town

Have low expectations. Cold food, no sides, inflexible witj requests. this place has a long way to go.

We had lunch here on a Sunday, best Sunday lunch I've had in Albany for ages! Fantastic menu choices, very professional and friendly service, great location and the food was delicious! Husband had the rissoto, it was so full of flavour and cooked perfectly as was the leek, potato tart I had. And very reasonably priced.

Three of us had lunch here yesterday & it was faultless. The nicest lunch we've had in WA. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the salads beautiful. <br/>At $12 - $18 per main it was great value too.

Dining at the View. Attending a show at AEC we booked table for 6.30 allowing enough time for 8pm start. We had to wait an hour for our meal which was not worth the wait. My venison pie was so heavily laced with star anise I couldn't taste anything else(no mention of this spice on menu) $37.50 for a steak which was sliced beef and well done not medium rare as requested. Waitress explained that all the meat is cooked medium which indicates that this is not a true steak but a roll of beef. Never going back, awful.
