Fantastic day spent at Whale Station. Very informative tour guide Shelly was superb. Amazing Shell collection as well, the best I have ever seen. Also enjoyed The Wildlife Dislplay. Spent much longer than anticipated at the Whale Centre, with ease! Lunch at the Cafe was also very good.

It was very interesting & the views amazing. We spent 3hrs there & ran out of time to look at the wildlife park & gardens. Maybe it's worth looking at charging for the whaling station on its own at a slightly cheaper rate instead of having to pay for all 3. Then having a separate fee for the other 2, we would have come back the next day to do the wildlife park & gardens except we would have to pay the $32 each again. Really enjoyed the history etc. But to do all 3 activities in the same day you need a whole day & plenty of stamina.

Our first visit to the museum We expected to be there for 1 hour, but 5 hours later we left exhausted. Such an amazing display. We enjoyed the tour by David. The 3D movie was fantastic. Walking over the boat was great. The rooms were bigger than we expected on the ship. The helicopter taking off in front of us when we were standing on the top deck was fantastic. The friendly staff topped of a wonderful experence. The use of the fuel tanks was a great idea. We did not get time to see the gardens & wild life. Maybe a pass for a srcond b isit would be helpful. So many attractions seem to be adopting this way. Very well done.

Very interesting, spent 4 hrs here. The guided walk and talk was quite informative. The old oil tanks have been converted into small theatres and one had a holographic display which wad very good. It would have been quite a gruesome and stinky workplace I would think. Some interesting stories and photographic history to be seen all be it a short one. Definitely worth a visit.

We arrived late afternoon which was a pity as we didn't get to see everything. It's a really interesting place with so much to see. I particularly liked the use of the old oil storage tanks to show films. I found the film about sharks to be very informative. We only had a few minutes at the wild life gardens. I didn't particularly like seeing the animals in small enclosures but they were all clean and appear to be happy. I would strongly recommend visiting the station if you are in the area.

Very interesting place to visit and being able to clamber all over a former whaling boat makes it special.

Beautiful sea view, nice and chill environment. Food takes a little while to be ready after order (like 40-45 minutes). So it's a good place to seat before you're too hungry, which wasn't my case! If wasn't for the waiting time for food I'd have given 5 stars.
