Food- chips weren’t crunchy even though I requested them to be and were downst in salt.... burger was 10/10 despite falling apart, (that was only caused by how yum and juicy it was) fish wrap sub par as the wrap component was too thick and lacking tartare and/or sauce.... dimmies were spot on, and batter on fish/scallops was good thickness! Overall high rating on food and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal!
Ambiance- great for a F&C shop.... standard layout...... great to see so many chairs outside! Lots of homeless people out and about (as commission flats next door) and begging us and other customers for money was a bit off putting but comes with the location..
Service- I was initially served by a man who took my order, as I went to pay and another woman popped up and I had to repeat the whole order which was a bit annoying as first guy wrote down my order ?!?!?!???? Then she kept popping out ans asking me questions about the order despite re-reading the whole thing back to me twice.......... hmmmmm

New owners. Burgers are spectacular and tgese guys know how to cook foid and hygiene is number 1. The old owner was hopeless. These guys have been in the industry for decades and cook realky fresh food with fresh ingredients .. its a gem!!!!
We had the 'Catch for two' yesterday and it was amazing! The lightly battered fish was so fresh, the flavour on the crumbed (real) calamari was so tasty, and the chips were great! And there was a potato cake, which did its job. Fast, nice service. We'll definitely back!
I come here every week and rate it above others in area. I can only speak for fish and chips as this is all i order, but i especially like their thin crisp well seasoned batter
Best fish and chip in port philip. To start with would be your unbelievable respectful and friendly customer service. I love your food and I be coming here since you opened the shop. I really don't know what some people complaint about. Every one who has a bit of fast food background knows that you maintain/serve a high Australian hospitality standard and delicious food. The Fish and Chips shop didn't survive all this yrs for no reason so don't pay to much attention to the critics but keep paying attention to detail like you always have :)
My family favorate fish chippery!best homemade crumb calamari rings,big size, amazing taste! best batter ive never tried before at the other fish chips. we also loved the grill pack which is amazing, cooked well done! slushy is served with the kids pack,my kids always asked for it,thats great! good service happy face, wonderful meal everytime eat there! they are the best!
Very nice battered seafood with good quality oil. Been tried many fish&chips, but this is the one we love it! Ordered weekly! Recon homemade calamari rings, battered hot dog, bugers are nice too!
Tuesday stroll. Had a milkshake and a burger in this little place on a beautiful autumn afternoon. Very nice people serving, the burger was quite tasty and well portioned. The vanilla milkshake was yummy, just the thing we needed for a beachside walk. Recommended.
The Schnitzel burger these guys make is unbelievable. Its simple, huge, always crispy, and only $8.50. Its so legit and quickly becoming legendary amongst my friends. Do yourself a favor and get one. The fish and chips here are also amazing.
Fish and chips are ok. Perfect potato cakes. The best part is the location; can't beat fish and chips on the beach.
Friendly staff and decent fish and chips. Though I would make more options available for "fish and chips" packs rather than just a gummy shark. Perfect location, it's nice to have it as a take away and eat at the beach.
We just keep coming back for some of the greatest tasting fish'n chips.
I also love their lamb souvlaki - scrumptious !!!

Sarah and her husband are curtious with great service. They are open seven days. I always judge a good fish and chip shop by the potato cakes and they have one of the best.. Their fish is very good and cooked well, I can tell cause my cats love it too !!
People travel from miles around to eat at this place. The food is delicious old school fish & chips, kebabs and hamburgers to die for. It is also very reasonably priced.
Do yourself a favour and give this place a try.
Only been living in Melbourne for 6 months and the bugers and kebabs here are by far the best i have had since being here, they are always so full, fresh and hot. Also such good value for money and the owners are really nice, they now know my order without me having to ask
Great Food and everything here is Halal. Try the grilled butterfish and flake. The calamari rings are awesome and cheap. The grilled butter fish will make you come back for more.
