I visited Laurent Bakery in Albert Park just before lockdown. We ordered a cheesecake and a croissant, a tea and cap as well as a few other goodies to takeaway. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of food coming out of here. As soon as they are open again, we are down, and I recommend you get on board and sample everything Laurent has to offer!
Delicious Cheesecakes and Desserts! I actually can't deal with how good the dessert is at Laurent Bakery. Literally melt in your mouth chocolate mousse. The chocolate is amazing quality and just writing about it is making me want to go back for more, done deal - I will be back over the weekend, see you soon champs!
Beautiful store with the most friendly staff! Purchased a delicious strawberry tart to share for my friends birthday. Impeccable! Definitely recommend

My favourite pastry place to stop after a walk around Albert Park lake! While I can't sit and ready my book anymore, still grabbing my favourite almond croissant. Can't beat their flavour and freshness😍
It is that time of the year again and the Hot Cross Buns are making the shelves! I have sampled a few HCBs around town and have found my favourite being Laurent Bakery. Soft and fluffy that will have you craving more!
I shared a hot cross buns and blueberry cheesecake. The hot cross bun was soft and warmed beautifully. The cheesecake melted our mouth and was rich in flavour. Will definitely be eating there more regularly

We have been going to Laurent Bakery for years. A lovely spot where the staff treat you like family. An easy menu that is tasty and satisfying.
I am a big fan of Laurent Bakery so when I was in Albert Park and saw the brand, I knew it was the place for us to have lunch. Being a bakery, the bread here is super fresh - a sandwich I highly recommend :)
A colleague from work left yesterday so we got a cake for her from Laurent. It looked amazing, it tasted fantastic.
The cake was a chocolate moose type of cake with chocolate squares that were around the outside, just lovely. There is some left over today so hello seconds!! lol

Laurent is always my favorite place for cake and tea. Went today for lunch . Had a French omelet and bacon ciabatta, Ham and cheese croissant, 2 teas, Ruby cake , and another coffee & chocolate and cake . Delicious.
The cafe was quite busy this afternoon but we get our table pretty quick, order coffee and mushrooms croquet (our favourite).
The coffee came within 5 minutes and the croquet came not long after, quite surprised since they were busy and we didn't expect the food to come quick but it did, even the waitress thank us for our patient !
Love the croquet and the coffee, nice place to chat and we enjoyed our afternoon there, thanks laurent!
We generally come here at least once every quarter to buy a whole cake for our team at work. Usually we get the 22 cm cake available (generally Trio or Monte Carlo) and we're never disappointed.
It does look like they need to improve on their savoury options as a friend remarked that their baguette roll is quite tough, which is disappointing considering the various Vietnamese roll places popping up all over Melbourne serving up beautifully cripsy baguettes.
Personally, I really enjoy going here for a sweet when I allow myself a cheat treat. The staff are very friendly and helpful and yes, ok their prices are a bit up there, but the desserts are well worth it and I've never felt unsatisfied.
Excellent french style cakes. Had bora-bora cake (about $8) and i loved it. Tea was good too. The service is a bit cold, but I didn't really mind.
This is a gorgeous cafe with amazing baked goods and attentive service. I've heard a lot about Laurent from my friends and it did not disappoint. The little tea cakes were so immaculately presented, the breads and pastries looked delightful, and the overall ambience with the marble and soft lighting was so inviting. We had a relaxing little afternoon tea and enjoyed the simplicity of the experience. Even though they were so busy, it still felt like a special treat and we were given due attention and excellent service. Can't recommend this cafe highly enough.
Sunday morning is becoming a ritual here. Love the coffee and their vegetable tart.
One of the best Mocha I have had in a while. The hot cross buns were great too. Overall a nice setting and the cafe serves fresh coffee till 6 pm. Win win!

Me and couple of my girlfriends went to have morning tea and a nice young man named Andrew served us, he was so friendly overall experience was amazing, he makes the best chai latte.
I live nearby in Middle Park and this well located and well appointed café is great with good food (gourmet snacks mostly), drinks and cakes. The staff over the last 10 or more years are first rate and friendly. I visit a few times a month. There is no rational reason for any negative review here that I have read.
