Great little spot that serves of some pretty darn relatively inexpensive tasty food. It's a good spot for lunch or a take away dinner at home . Can eat in since there are a few tables

My daughter says this is the best Nasi Goreng she's had.
Great service - always smiling, so friendly and willing to meet special requests. Super quick and tasty food with something for everyone in our family. Really good value for money too 🥘

A Taste of Spice is predominantly a takeaway place with a few tables inside. Friendly service and the food I've had there has all been tasty. Prices are also good. The only thing I've found is with the noodle dishes is that the noodles tend not to hold together and break into small pieces which is a little annoying. I'm not sure if this is because they continue to cook in the takeaway container or if it's the noodles themselves. However tasty and worth giving it a visit.

For those of you who may remember the name, the proprietor of this store used to run the restaurant of the same name in Gouger Street. I was surprised when I saw the signage and even more surprised when I went in to find Michael and his wife at the helm again.
Needless to say, the restaurant in Gouger street served delicious food and this little outlet serves the exact same food. The spicy chicken is my favorite dish and I use their roti to soak up all of the sauce. Every dish I have had here has been nice.
There is a few seats for dine in but not many... If you order the salt and chilli squid For take away I suggest taking the lid off so it doesn't go soggy.
Good food, friendly service but no home delivery.
