Review Indian Tandoori Restaurant - Albury

Lovely staff. Great food but fairly expensive as compared to other nearest places. Thats why i gave four star. But dining experience (traditional Indian+western) was great actually one of the best so far in Australia. Liked the layout and design of the place. Serving and plating was pretty good as well as the food portion size. We ordered lentil soup and veg samosa as entrees. Soup I liked the most taste, consistency and texture was perfect. I did not like the Garlic naan it had dried garlic crumbs on the naan instead of garlic butter paste. Rest of the dishes were good.

Absolutely delicious chicken briyani and potato/mutter tarmata dish. Enjoyed the spices, the finger licking gravy and friendly staff who looked after us. Thank you 🙏🏽

When you see Indians dine in an Indian restaurant and pay premium price you know it’s excellent and it was. It was nice to see the whole family help out with deriving during school holidays. One of the best Chicken Tikka Korma, mixed vegetables and butter chicken I’ve had.

Excellent combination of fine food as well as service. Highly recommend the Korma Curry along with a Mushroom Palao Rice washed down with a glass or two of Pinot Gris! Good value.

Great Authentic Indian cuisine. Feel the taste of home, good ambience and good hospitality from the staff. I loved the Indian tea freshness, felt like having a sip right from the tea garden.

Good service, Price was ridiculous! food was average, definitely not a family Budget restaurant, $20 for a carafe of raspberry lemonade! A large serve of rice would of fed us, but they charged us for four large $48.00 Naan bread $7.90 a slice🤔 feeling rather ripped off! Never will return to this Restaurant.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY…

After waiting 2hrs for my delivery I had to ring the restaurant only to be told my order was still sitting there. The girl told me she would send vouchers and it would be 20mins for me to get my order. 30mins later I tried calling multiple times with no answer or straight to voice mail. 40mins later it arrived. Butter chicken was lacking flavour. Chicken tikka also lacked flavour. Naan was cold. I did not receive any vouchers. Will never order from here again.

Went there had food and paid the bill. On way back home realized paid $108 and should have been around $89. Next time went and again $115 instead of $90 somethimg. Asked why they said menu says prices may vary and they are different. Menu says $19.90 but Invoice says $25.90. Every single item was more on the invoice. It was a normal day nothing special. When asked they said can not do anything as we have mentioned on the last page of the menu that prices may vary. Staff doesn’t alert you at all. It’s cheating and no different to the cheating videos you see on you tube on how Dhabas cheat in India. Very disappointed. Can’t trust these guys. Menu says Paneer naan but when you order you actually get a cheese naan. When asked they will show you the menu that says A naan made with special cheeses. Call it cheese naan and in description say it’s not a paneer naan. Food is good and tastes delicious but you will leave with a bitter taste at the end.

Very, super delicious food, everything was tasty and AWESOME, my table ordered 6 Entrees which did Not disappoint. Will be back. Will even visit the one closes to my home, located in Burbank. Their staff was super, in Hawthorne, was super friendly, and very attentive every single one of them. ��� this place.

Ordered from the restaurant tonight for the first time, we had the $30 banquet and every single dish was amazing! The butter chicken was seriously the best I have had and the rogan josh was tender and delicious. Will definitely be ordering again, thanks for a great dinner �

The food was amazing! I loved the buffet with an assortment of savoury and sweet foods. The condiments are as always to die for. My mum, friends and I will definitely visit again.

We were delighted with the service and the quality of the food. Probably the best Naan bread I’ve had - really soft and tasty. The staff are super friendly and really energetic. Thank you Naziya and crew. Keep going! We will visit again :-)

Went with our family (2A2K) and the food and service was excellent! Price was well worth it for the yummy food! Left very full and satisfied. Kids meals included icecream with chocolate naan... yum!!

I live in Canberra and travel to Melbourne frequently. This is the only place I go to have Indian food. It is simply the best.

Today was the first time I had been here and I absolutely Love it. Sunday Buffet was presented in a clean ordely fashion and the food was delicious and had a great range to choose from including salads with a great range of desserts also . Also to top it off they brung out pancake and bread.. The customer Service was exceptional and gave us a wonderful experience. I would recommend Indian Tandoori Albury to anyone and will definitely be coming back. Thank You Guys Top Job...

Had takeaway last night, best Indian I’ve had in Aus. Food was delicious and great service. If I’m in Albury again I will definitely visit!!

It was the worst Indian meal we have ever had and we love Indian food. The butter chicken sauce was burnt, curry puffs were disgusting. The order was 1 hour late. We don't be ordering from here again. Extremely disappointed.

Went there for dinner tonight. Food was nice took a while to come out. Would go again. Might try Sunday buffet with all the family.

Been to so many restaurants in Sydney Never got this better customer service concern And above all food We are only coming here to eat whenever we are in Albury.... (Wish i could come to this place whenever i feel like eating out ...)

AMAZING! We ordered food for 50+ people at my 21st and everyone loved it - very option catered for my dietary requirements and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff are excellent to deal with and took a lot of care and time in the lead up to our event to make sure everything was in order. I would definitely recommend Indian Tandoori to cater for any event.
