Beetroot, almond, green mango fritter, carrot and lime slaw, herb and cashew remoulade and verjuice mushrooms served on ciabatta toast πππ€€π one of the best brekkys I've ever had!
Also tried a vegan muffin which i was pretty disappointed with, it was cold and hard, I think it'd been sitting there a while :(
They can make a vegan chai latte too which is nice. I wasn't a fan of their espresso though.
Service was amazing, the staff are so helpful and lovely and the food was served quickly.
I'd like to see more vegan options on the menu, especially the lunch menu.
I was given a voucher to use here. Wandered in to check out the offerings. The staff could not have been more helpful and the home made pasta, wonderful ice cream and lemon tart that I ordered were delicious.
Suggest you try this cafe. I suspect the staff are new. I loved it.
Great pasta - love that it is all homemade, really makes a difference!
Serving size was good and price was very reasonable.
Was a little slow to come out but otherwise was just a nice casual place to have lunch.
A very good casual Italian eatery. I had a fettucini cabonara. The wait wasn't too short nor was it too long. Ended up getting superb food and the coffee was reasonable too!
Popped into Green Zebra for breakky on the way down to SWMBO parents place for the weekend. Having a partner that used to live in Albury, she was determined to take me to he fav breakky spot.
Naturally, I was dubious, (I didn't want to let her in on that) but keen to give it a go.
Arrived at 8:15, parking was easy. Greeted warmly by staff and easy to get a seat. Ordering at the till which was simple and painless.
The order:
Eggs benny, double shot flat white. Same for my partner plus orange juice.
The result:
OJ came first - hand squeezed with a goldilocks result - not tart, not sweet, just right!
Coffee next - dat coffee. Wow. That feeling of the caffeine cupping your eyeballs. Yum!
The main - delish - soft, delicate eggs, hand poached to the perfect consistency. Bacon was nice, not too fatty, could do with a wee bit more. The winner? That hollandaise sauce. House made, simple and deliciously zingy. I'll have it by the jug please. All perfectly set off by a ring of balsamic and basil oil.
Nice touch? Bathroom through the kitchen, chefs say hello when you pop through.
Food: 9.5/10
Service: 9/10
Ambiance: 8/10
Eftpos available, no limit.
Fresh pasta, we like it. I ordered the today's special pasta, the sauce was a little bit too salty for me. My hubby ordered pasta with wilted sage & butter, simple but yummy nevertheless. We also bought the chicken, herbs & red wine sauce for take away... Weird taste..
In terms of service, they have some of the most friendly staff i've ever seen during our trip.. The lady behind the cash register was very friendly & patient with me deciding which pasta to choose, the coffee guy was also very nice to us, happily giving us some ice, even though we kept asking for extra several times (it was a very hot HOT new year eve's day).
Overall, satisfied with the food & service. If you're looking for fresh but quick pasta meal & friendly full-of-smile service, this is the place to go.
Consistently good coffee, and always a good bunch of take away dinner options. I tend to end up buying the chicken and wine pasta sauce, and it's always a winner. The lemon tart is also a favourite for me!
This place has been here for years, and for awhile was one of the few places in Albury that could summon a good coffee. It's still always packed on the weekend, and with good reason!
Came here only for breakfast but the coffee was spectacular!! The bacon and egg roll was just over ten bucks and was big enough to fill me up. Next time I'm in town I would like to come here for lunch and try the pasta.
Visited Green Zebra for the first time. Must say service has been quite slow for a Monday morning! Coffee wasn't anything special, however food is presentable and good quality.
Have never been disappointed here! If you love Pasta this is the place for you! You choose the type of fresh pasta and the sauce you would like. Coffee is wonderful, gorgeous little sweet treats. But my favourite is the breakfasts, wonderful french toast with fruit and yoghurt! Lunch prices around the $17 mark. Oh and they have salads also if you want something a little lighter π
Just visiting Albury for the morning and just had a lovely breakfast very tasty and well plated up
Well done , I can see that they take great pride in the breakfast menu
Fantastic coffee (best in town in my opinion). Amazing French toast, with whatever fruits are seasonal at the time. Food is always fresh and well cooked and presented. A bit squashy inside for those with prams or little ones and I've found the lunch menu a bit limited. Otherwise excellent food, coffee and service.
Visited twice when in Albury during May. Lunchtime was busy but service still prompt and professional with food not taking too long. Breakfast mid-week was a brilliant idea as I'd heard the pancakes were very good and was not at all disappointed. Warm, friendly service, coffees and food coming very quickly. The only downside was that my pancakes were too big to finish. Very light and fluffy and would certainly recommend again.
Went a few times for breakfast - prompt service, yum selection. I like the omelette. Hasn't disappointed yet.
I ordered poached eggs on turkish bread with wilted spinach and mushrooms. Bread was abit too toasted for my liking but did taste fresh, mushrooms and all the sauces tasted great! But the poached eggs werent poached! Soft boiled more like it. Everything tasted great but the poached eggs were a big let down.
Stunning food, coffee absolutely perfect. Top drawer Customer Service. Very full bears fed & coffeed !

Coffee fix = achieved!. First time at green zebra, random passing....called past for a few coffees, enjoyed a superb coffee made to perfection by a young guy on the machine, super friendly and very hospitable guy. Coffee was well extracted with perfect milk qualities.....an asset to alburys coffee scene......didn't have the chance to taste any of the food due to our time schedule but based on the hustle and bustle of the space, seems a hit with the locals, deservedly so!!! Thanks for having us!!
Excellent coffee. Friendly fast service. Tried the bacon celeriac and tomato fettuccini and it really hot the spot. Served piping hot. Delicious. Heartily recommended.
Never gets old. Green zebra is a place I rely on for a quick, fresh lunch or coffee quite often. Their normal menu always maintains the same high standard and it's always nice to check out the specials, usually featuring produce from their own kitchen garden.
My four year old always insists on getting lasagne, there isn't a kids size but it's actually really convenient - she takes half of the massive slice home and has it for dinner as well.
Also a fab place to buy fresh pasta and sauce to have home made pasta at home without having to do it all yourself.
I'm so glad I came here for breakfast while visiting Albury. Great coffee and a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs with herbs, fried cubed potato and relish. Loved it.

Delicious chicken, ham and ricotta ravioli with chilli, garlic and verjuice.
Good coffee. Nice place to relax on a road trip
Outstanding quality and good pricing. One if the best country town cafes I've been to. I was impressed everything. The good deli styling if the cafe, the see through back of kitchen windows do you can see the chefs, the variety of well designed meals and the value for money. The pasta dishes are their speciality and they are a stand out. All are very well seasoned and full of flavour. The pasta itself is light and moorish. Well worth the trip.
Albury gem. We had a late breakfast at Green Zebra a few days after Christmas, on a road trip from Melbourne. The place was getting slammed but the staff still kept it together and it looked like they had things under control. Coffee and food were great, if a tad pricey. Points too for being upfront when my eggs came out with hollandaise all over them after I asked it to be served on the side - they served it to me but the offer was up straightaway for a replacement if I couldn't live with it. Good, friendly service too.
GO THE GZ!. Eaten here on several occassions now & never disappointed with the offering.
Cauli fritter on white bean puree with wilted spinach on sourdough with poachd eggs & sideosalmon this time round
You are always my Albury destination of choice for breaky GZ.
Love you
Go the Croque!. Mission - Find a place in Albury that does a mean Croque Monsieur for Breakfast. Go to Urbanspoon, search Albury - Found Green Zebra. Being out of towners we relied on Urbanspoon and we were not let down. Can I just say that I am still thinking about the Croque Monsieur Omellete - there was something amazing about it and I am kind of bummed that I had to share it. Coffee was awesome so was the chai latte. Service was excellent. Will be back to try more when we are in town next
Great coffee. Every time I come here, the coffee is consistently good and I consider myself fairly fussy.
Best eggs in albury hands down
Afordable, enjoyable, and Full. Breakfast at Green Zebra was a pleasent delight. With a clear, comprehensive menu at the front door to preview and the large number of diners sipping on lattes and clingking knives and forks from plate to mouth, my husband and I decided that Green Zebra would be able to provide the breakfast we were looking for. The service was prompt and friendly and the food presented beautifully, with a clever green olive oil ring to decorate the plate and bring back the 'green' in thier name. For the price, green Zebra is a good find in Albury.
Great coffee and pasta. Green Zebra is one of my favourite places to eat in Albury. The pasta is delicious and the coffee is great too.
Croque-monsieur omelette was really nice and very filling. A nice place to come for breakfast.
Great food, fresh pasta, great coffee, amazing lemon tart!! I always pop in here when in Albury.
Lemon Tart. The lemon tart is the best in town - tart and sweet, not too big and not too small. Perfect! Going past yesterday, I succumbed to calling in for a piece to takeaway. Worth every kilojoule. The coffee is also great.
The intense yellow of the custard comes from the fresh egg yolk, direct from the free range chickens that are also a part of the Green Zebras food philosophy
