Review La Tierra Restaurant - Albury

Had a very nice dessert here, thought it wad going to be a bit bigger but it was very filling, they had a special with some mulled wine which I dabbled with and was pleasantly surprised, a very nice end to the night

Stopped by en route to Melbourne having read TripAdvisor reviews. A dynamic young energetic passionate team were working hard to deliver fast fresh delicious food.This place was great! I almost walked right past it on my evening stroll, until I saw a cute dog tied up outside and then looked inside where there was a bustling hip Asian inspired restaurant.

Booked a table for 7.45pm and arrived 5 to 10 mins early. We were seated straight away but that's where the service ended. We were not offered any drinks, had no menu to look at and the only other interaction with a staff member was when my husband had to go to the bar to get us a drink only to be told we would be attended to in a couple of minutes. We left after 30 minutes of being ignored. After a long 14hrs of working in our own business we were looking forward to trying this new restaurant out, sadly our relaxing dinner was turned into a frustrating annoying drive to another restaurant where we were welcomed, seated, given menus, offered water and had a drink order filled all within the first 5 minutes. After that i enjoyed a relaxing and delicious dinner with my husband.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here tonight; the tapas, drinks, and cheese platter were great. The service was warm and friendly. However...it was absolutely freezing inside! We were told when we arrived that the heater was broken for a day & they were still working to fix it...it must’ve been 2 degrees inside. We ate with our coats, scarves, and gloves on, on one of Albury’s coldest nights this winter. We were not warned about the heating fault when my wife booked earlier that day. Usually we would just roll with it but honestly it ruined our night. We left early with cramping legs and feet, just to get back to a warm car!

We booked a table for four, when we arrived we were shown a table for two, when I commented that there was four of us and could we have a table for four they did then change it. The food was ok except for the risotto which was absolutely terrible. The service all night was just not acceptable. We are lucky to have some awesome restaurants in Albury so certainly would not be in a hurry to go back here again.

We had a great dinner. Friendly and very professional. Enjoyed the lamb shoulder and sides. Breakfast is good too.

Mother's Day luncheon??? Sensational!!!! Service .... excellent!! Beef cheeks... amazing!!! Passionfruit panna cotta.....divine!!!! Forget the food baby... I have food triplets!!!!!
