Review The Kebab Place - Albury

Zero stars, absolutely garbage. The guy charged more than what I ordered and said I had ordered the other one. The meat was inedible by all means burnt pieces of meat with cold potato bits not even fries. Messed up the whole visit experience to Albury

Big turn around for these guys, been coming for a while and the new crew they have hired are nothing but friendly and kind, some of them are a little slow but they are still learning the business, I hope the shop continues to make changes for the better. The food can be inconsistent but still pretty tasty overall. Keep up the good work guys

The worst kebab ever. Meat was cold, didn't get all the ingredients I asked for and portion sizes are woeful. Just go to Maccas, much nicer honestly. Anyone who has recently rated this place above 1 star is delusional and probably has never had a kebab in their life before.

The Kebab Place Albury used to be the best, for many years. In the past 12-18 months it has absolutely gone to the dogs! Food quality is absolutely down the drain. Dry kebabs with hardly any sauce. The garlic potatoes are either over cooked, or undercooked. Rarely cooked well. The container is mostly only half filled. I've sent feedback to the owner via Facebook in the past but there has been no change. Our last order from this place was made tonight. Good luck to Kebab Place Albury turning this sinking ship around. #RIP

Hasn’t disappointed in 20+ years, what a great place!! The chilli 🌶 oil and the quality of all of the ingredients (falafels) is amazing, must have kebab!!

Ordered a small kebab whilst staying with family, never turned up. I'm done. Won't go back again. Just lost $17. Never again.

Worst hsp i have ever had. Poor service with rude staff. The guy microwaved chips and it was still cold. Tasteless poor quality food. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Full wastage of money.

Definitely has to be the worst kebab I have tried. No only was the meat was cold when I ordered but it was then minced on the hot plate and added to stale looking ingredients. Don’t bother!

A below average kebab. The size of the kebab makes it good value if you're simply looking for a quick fill up. The meat was dry and not as flavoursome as I hoped. The pita wrap itself was a bit on the stale side. I ordered online and was disappointed that lamb and tahini were not offered as options. Would have liked a bit more garlic sauce, too. Service friendly enough.

First impression was shop is untidy and staff are unkempt. Received no greeting upon entrance and when we ordered, staff were rather blunt and indifferent. Watching the food preparation just ruined our appetites. Staff were sloppy, messy and rushing when we were the only customers in the shop. Potatoes had to be microwaved and meat was reheated on the grill. Meat was very dry, probably due to the reheating and potatoes were soggy. Sauce was thick and had a grainy texture, was also distributed unevenly. Staff just scooped and threw it on top. Overall, one of the most unpleasant things I have ever eaten. The dish served resembled dog food and tasted worse. Not worthy of being called a kebab shop. Do not let the positive reviews deceive you. What they serve are not kebabs!

Kebabs here are the best in town by far. Staff are great and always up for a chat. Inside looks a little tired but it is just a kebab place!
