Review Baan Sabai Jai - Albury

The fish i had to my surprise was very delicious 5/5 and chicken satay 2/5. Nice interior environment to enjoy food. Dishes came fast and rice for two people is enough for 3 or 4 people depends how much you eat and side dishes you have. The only thing made me upset was when i order something at the end of our dining it never came until almost 30mins await i had to ask and not even one staff care to tell me it wasn’t available. It may a bit pricey but you need to choose dishes wisely which had a big portion and suitable price for it. Overall I’m quite satisfied

Service was hasty and of poor quality. Waitresses dressed in tracksuits and beanies. Our chosen wine was sold out. Mushroom soup sold out. Should have walked out at this point but we decided to stay against our better judgement. Decor was a little confusing what with multiple cultural influences including African. Good lighting but no musical ambience. I overheard one family's disappointment that there was no dessert menu. Mains not brought out together and only the one rice instead of two. Mistakes and mismanagement every step of the way. The food (now going cold and nothing to write home about) was not only expensive but did not make up for the continuously poor service. Won't be going back.

Ordered here twice. First time we ordered over the phone and were told our food would be ready in 20. We arrive and they hadn’t started cooking it, staff were rude to boot. Second time they gave our order to someone else. Will never order here ever again.

Hadn't been here for years but what a delightful place it is. Food is delicious and the green tea is perfect. Well worth a visit.

If you like your Thai more of a "street style" experience then this is the closest to that in Albury. The kids and the family love the chicken wings and insist on having them every time. The service is really efficient and they just get on with the job of getting you your meal quickly. It has a good selection on the menu. You can sit outside and be near the noise and hustle and bustle of the cooking cart and the street noise or sit inside. It is also really good for take away.

The food here was so delicious. My friend and I shared a yum cha starter dish before our mains which were Pad Thai king prawn and Pad Thai mixed seafood. A main was too much for me but I'm not a huge eater. The service was great and it had a really nice relaxing atmosphere.

Loved the food and environment. Although there are mixed reviews but my experience was great. Got great vegetarian Thai food with a nice dessert. Excellent service.

Best Thai in the Albury district and one of the best I've been to in Australia. Very yummy food and great friendly service. And the footpath kitchen ads to its ambience.
