Review Albury Chinese Restaurant - Albury

I went to this Restaurant, food was nice however the service was terrible. We tried on several occasions to get the attention for service and was blatantly ignored. In Reply to your response - Wednesday 06/04/22 for 3 people at 6.30pm (unsure of table Number)

1 star at best. Booked for 4 and were seated at a table with crumbs on one chair and a dirty fork. Ordered entrees which were average at best. Our 2 beers and 2 soft drinks were delivered and plonked on the table without glasses. Had to go to bar and ask for 2 glasses. Our plates and cutlery were removed by the waitress who had seated us and then our main courses arrived. Once again we had to ask for plates and cutlery so we could eat our dinner. We ordered 2 sizzling dishes, both were luke warm with absolutely NO sizzle at all. Other 2 dishes were ok. We then sat for ages without our waitress coming anywhere near us and while we were sitting there a woman wearing an apron began to drape wet tablecloths and tea towels all over the empty chairs in the dining area. Absolutely gob smacked. Had to wonder were we in a restuarant or a laundry, no thing would convince me to return.

One of the better Chinese restaurants in Albury and a slightly higher price to reflect that. The fried rice was good 3-4 star and the prawn dish was ok 3 star. Overall not bad though nothing extra ordinary. May try them one more time. Thank you.

Food quite nice. Poor waitress was run off her feet. One dish chef must have forgot about and came out late. Otherwise, I'll be back.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. Was not expecting this level of quality in a country town. Service was friendly, food came out within minutes and boy was it tasty AF! Exactly what I wanted and hit the spot. Super satisfied. Prices were reasonable too! Even had a play area for the kids to entertain themselves. Will be back!

Food is Not oily and salty and portion is generously sufficient.

We went for yum cha and I'm pretty sure they just forgot about is for an hour. both my partner and I were ill afterwards. The soy on the table was thick like it had started to caramelise in the sun...

Good luck, prosperity and warm food comes in with the horse 🐎 Food is regular Chinese one gets everywhere. Fried rice had wok hey but not enough taste.

The staff were very nice and friendly but unfortunately this was some of the worst Chinese we have ever eaten. We had special fried rice, I'd hate to see the regular fried rice if this was "special", there was nothing in it! The rainbow steak was a soggy mess and tasted like generic BBQ sauce. The chicken and cashews had a nice flavor but it was mostly celery, barely any chicken and 6 cashews. The combination chow mein was awful. The sauce was a gluggy slop of lumpy cornflour. The worst however was the lemon chicken, the sauce was so bitter and artificial it was inedible. The thing that really bothers me the most is the cost. Very, very small servings with hardly any meat, mostly just filler veggies. I'm surprised there's not a celery and cauliflower shortage on the border! We will NEVER be back.

3 times visited. Wow. Great food, actually it is the best. Gluten free as well and so many choices. Service great. Cleanliness great. Value for money - outstanding. Thanks for all the meals weve had over our past visits and we look fwd to more. Great place to eat thanks

Very very disappointing. Service is extremely poor. The staff are friendly but poorly trained and under resourced - especially the kitchen. The food may have been nice but unfortunately every meal was cold. We had to clear the table ourselves to make room for the next banquet meal! May be suitable for a couple but any group larger than that...don’t bother! Not impressed.

Dinner with Di and Eric. Super friendly Shadow and Smiley Stellar. Serving super good food. As Chinese says "it's got wok smell" - yum yum.

Friendly staff, food was generally good, I had Rainbow Steak and it was delicious, the sweet and sour chicken was nice but not outstanding. The fried rice and entrees were nice. We were appreciative that they were open on Christmas night.

First thing was supposed to be crab and sweet corn soup. Well there was no crab in it but instead they had that seafood extender rubbish. The waitress forgot the green tea. The Scallops with ginger and shallots with stir fried veges was a disaster because more than half the plate was full of onions. The rest of the veges was just cauliflower and 2 snow peas. When the waitress saw all the onion left over on the plate she said I could have ordered stir fry veges "without onion". So that's what I will do IF there is a next time. The scallops were not whole either because the red part was missing on all of them. Rip off. $27 for this meal. BTW there is a $2 surcharge if you use EFTPOS. Not happy.

No atmosphere, food was good but my order went missing for entree. Better places to eat with much better atmosphere.

Amazing food at good prices. One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been too. Wish Geelong had this quality of food.

Flat soft drinks, meals taste like they are laden in salt. Just awful. I have no idea how this place is still in business

We were travelling all day and looking forward to have a take away. We ordered Singapore noodles. We tool it to the motel. There was an overpowering taste of curry powder in it. All four of us agreed that it wasn't edible. I walked to the restaurant to return it. The lady in the counter said no refund and forced me to order something in the menu on the same price range. I insisted that I don't want anything anymore from the place and just want my money back. She finally gave me some of my money after realising that I'm there because of the principles. I would normally leave it, but my child had a stomach ache after eating a spoonful of curry powder with noodles- which is apparently called Singapore noodles. Bad customer service as well. They can't take constructive criticism.

This is the best Chinese Restaurant in Albury. We eat there at least once a fortnight.

Great food if you can put up with the shit service. Both times we have been we've been told a pick up time only to have to sit and wait for it for and extra 1/2 hour. Kinda defeats the purpose of calling ahead, maybe when you take customers number give them a call and let them know that there's been a huge order taken after yours....!
