Got the chicken burger meal deal for $12 which overall is not a bad deal. Chicken burger, beer battered chips and a can of drink. My first time with the current owners and definitely the last. 2 x young girls on there own lunch time on a Sunday. My battered cod was terrible, I could not eat it and my dim sim burnt to a crisp. Worst fish and chips we have ever had. Sorry but glad I normally go to Fishies.

Purchased $5 chips with chicken salt.... literally the best chips I have had in the last decade.... AMAZING!!!!!

Unfortunately the fish and chips from Blue Ocean is of very low quality and not nice at all. It's unfortunate as the previous business Mermaids was actually a good fish and chip takeaway that you could enjoy. We won't be back and will have to travel further to get nice fish and chips.

8/1/22 - After waiting half an hour for $5 of chips and some potato scallops we received the most overcooked and dry chips with the thinnest almost burnt potato scallops I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.

Sorry for the 1 star but your hamburger was the worse thing I've ever eatten. The patty was VERY DRY and absolutely no flavour oh and don't get me started with what they call salad. I got a tablespoon of shreaded lettuce and 2 slices of soft over ripe tomato and no cheese. Atleast the beer battered
