This is by far the best cafe in town. Don’t be fooled by the pink espresso machine. It functions to make the best espresso! Food is prepared by local owner/chef.
We popped down to the Todd Street Mall to check out the new "Cafe Uccello" that opened recently. This new space has been renovated and is a quaint cafe in the CBD of Alice Springs. They are offering a selection of Paninis, desserts and coffees as well as breakfast offerings. Make sure you try a can

Iced coffee was good. Came with a group of 5. Ordered the crumpets, which were cold and gross. My partner ordered the sardines on toast which did not come with avacado or capers as stated on the menu. Not greeted by staff who were busy talking to each other.
Great atmosphere, super cute decorations. Love the pink. Very happy with the paninis (Had the BEST vegan panini ever from here) & my partner really loved his smoothie bowl too.

I loved this place so much I went back the next morning. The beans and eggs are surprisingly delicious and a great price. The salmon was also nice. 3 coffees here so far and reliably good.
It's okay, been twice and I can say 1out of 2 coffees are spilled out of the cup by the staff and the cappucccino I got was both time more like warm milk with not velvety look or evene close to right consistency,
Looks clean and modern, but that’s it. My Açai bowl contained no açai, just yoghurt, granola and basic fruit (with skin still on my 1 piece of kiwi). They forgot my coffee and my “large” was... well not. I won’t be back.
