We had lunch and dinner at this restaurant. Char kuey teow was pretty nice. Chicken Mie goreng was very nice with correct amount of spice/flavour. Chicken laksa had chewy pieces of meat in it and over flavoured with canned coconut milk. Special fried rice was too dry. But the (owner/manager) asian lady at the counter could perhaps do with a crash course in PR! She looked very jittery, stressed and being very rude to the customers as well as her own staff.

Just don't bother... after walking in starving from travelling we were welcomed with a callous "itll be 30min wait" despite no one but my partner and myself in the shop. I received a watery laska which lacked any sort of flavour whatsoever. Sparse and firm (most likely undercooked) noodles intermingled with seldom chicken and the occasional piece of vegetable.The satay skewers were overcooked and took a steel jaw to pull apart the chicken off the skewer. The peanut sauce was a joke and should aptly be named just 'brown sauce'. My partner recieved a small portion of veggies in boiling water named "vegetarian soup".. you'll read this review and should of adhered to my earlier advice.

We found the combination dishes shareable portions, along with the laska meals but would scale your spices if heavy spice is not your pallet.

Change of look of restaurant is good
And i thought the food improved

Perfect serving size for the perfect price: yes it's smaller than most other places, they also charge proportionally less so you have room for variations. Could take the request "extremely spicy" a bit more literally, but otherwise perfect. Especially love the decomposable paper boxes and eco bags.

Great for a quick meal and reasonably priced meal. Often grab lunch from here when I am in a rush and need something quick.
Always clean.
Staff are very friendly and remember your favourite order.
They have always been happy to make substitutions or leave things out.
Try the Fried Rice or WonTon Soup.
A couple tables out the front and a few stole/bar style seats inside. Most people I see order her including myself are take away customers.

The food tastes great and the portion was good as well. The only down side is that the place is small so dining-in when it is busy may be tough.
