Review Wah Sing Take Away Food - Altona

PLEASE READ! Sadly, I rang Wah Sing to order my favorite dish(Mongolian beef), which I've been ordering from Wah Sing for the last 15 years. It kept ringing out so I had to find out what was going on. I was so saddened as when I walked in the door all that was there were massive ceramic POTS...and the fantastic women who had been serving me for the last 15years. All I could say was, "Oh NO, what am I going to do?". She pointed me to the Tong Sing across from them. Never had I been there. I heard ages, like 14 years ago to not go there. I didn't remember that at the time.... "I WILL NEVER, EVER GO THERE AGAIN." It was not good. Then I remembered... I could've done a better job, and I really can't cook Asian. Try it out for yourself it might have changed? To the Tong Sing staff at Borrack Square, if you read this please don't get offended as I'm not saying this to be nasty, just talk to the Wah Sing woman how to make her Mongolian beef dish...

Ordered the noodles here and they make it on the spot. The noodles have a wok charred flavour which was nice. Service was OK, not smiling or friendly but guess they get the work done quick.

Ordered for delivery from this little restaurant. It arrived on time, steaming hot and delicious! The Combination Chow Mein has that smokey-charred wok smell that adds to the sumptiousness of the noodles. We specified no onions in Chicken & Cashew stirfry and they remembered. Crispy plum beef was not as crispy but very tasty. Sweet chicken corn soup just needed a tad bit of pepper but still delish. Thanks Tong Sing!

Disgusting - don't waste your time or money <br/>Worst Szechuan I have had in my life. Not chilli at all and the place looks old abs run down!!

Tried this place on a whim the other night when we were craving some good old school Chinese takeaway, and this place perfectly hit the spot. We tried the homemade dim sims (steamed) some lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork and special fried rice all which was really tasty and surprisingly not swimming in MSG. They also get bonus points for delivering quickly when everything was still hot and crispy. Great job guys, we will definitely be back! 😄
