Perfect place for a relaxed tapas style Spanish lunch on the terrace. The wine is also of excellent quality so we had to take some home. Will return soon.
Awesome place place for lunch great food and great wine 👍
Such a lovely place. Food was delish and service was prompt and friendly! Highly recommend. Well done Esther and Gus!
Amazing experience! Both the wine and Spanish food was exceptional. We fell in love with the Pinot Noir - our favourite! Highly recommend venturing out to this wonderful winery estate!
Amazing open space/ great sparklings / superb people of the wine world
What an absolute delight! Food and service 5 stars! I'll be back

First time here but definitely not the last! Great service, lovely wine and food! Love the garlic prawns. Also the baby llamas were so cute!!
We celebrated my daughter's birthday with the family and we enjoyed every minute. Food was sensational, service was excellent and all our fussy eaters were all accommodated. Love the whole experience and can't wait to go again. Thank you Del Rios - it was a beautiful day to remember..
We had a lovely winters lunch. Food is beautiful, atmosphere is lovely (open fireplace) and the service was exelent, especially the lovely older lady that comes to all the tables so make sure everyone is happy

Highly recommended!!!
Amazing food great scenery and good wine. Hospitality was top notch
Love this winery, Great food and wine and lovely staff!!
Even post corona, the atmosphere and food are wonderful. My personal faves are the tortilla, garlic prawns, and the Marsanne, not to mention the fantastic views! Will definitely be coming back again!
Always a unique and wonderful experience at this family winery. Try the Marsanne
Really authentic Spanish food - absolutely delicious. Views are amazing and they have llamas! Best Chardonnay I've had in ages. Definitely worth a visit!
Thanks so much for having us post corona. Loved the hospitality and the wine tasting
Went down with me and my partner and really enjoyed the tapas, cheese plate and cab sav
What a hidden gem! Absolutely loved our experience, great affordable day trip post covid19. Dining area has Panoramic views to enjoy your spectacular wine over whilst remaining cosy. My favourite wine of the day was the 2016 'Carmen' Tempranillo.
Staff are really friendly with a family vibe - great ambience. The food is unexpectedly delicious and great value, my favourite starters were the Bruschetta and Tuna croquetas, you also can't go past the Lamb Cutlets and the Churros.
Highly recommend and can't wait to return!
Always have an amazing time when I come down with a group of friends. The wines are wonderful, well balanced and grown at the vineyard right next to restaurant. Similarly, the food is from a driver's throw away in the paddock next door - home grown beef and lamb really makes for a tasty meal. But for me, the tortilla is the money - brings me right back to Madrid. All in all, a perfect weekend outing.
Had a great visit to the winery, enjoyed some Spanish tapas and a selection of the hard-to-come-by variety Marsanne! Thanks for having me
Fantastic food, wine and view from the restaurant
An extensive Spanish tappas menu and wine list. Great value for money and amazingly friendly staff. The cheese board was a perfect wine accompaniment on a cold winter's day. Sipping wine, eating food and listening to music whilst overlooking the vineyard is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
I can't believe we have only just ventured out to del Rios Winery now and have missed out on years of great food & wine. Ordered most of the tapas & bottles of the Merlot Cab Sav had a fantastic afternoon overlooking an amazing view. Also loved their Cuvee, Marsanne, Riesling, Temporillo & Pinot Noir and there was still more to taste, couldnt fault any. If your looking for somewhere with good food, wine, fireplace, view and great hospitality head over to Anakie.
Authentic spanish fare! Loved the paella and the little chorizo sliders. The staff are friendly and down to earth. Worth checking out this restaurant at del Rios winery, nestled on the side of Mt Anakie, will definitely be back. The 2015 Shiraz is a knockout!
Amazing paella and tapas! Also the Pinot Noir and mixed red wine is definitely worth a buy from their cellar door! The service is also excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. Highly recommended place for a Sunday lunch!!
Reasonable price with tasty food and a property with nice view. The mussels, tuna croquette and garlic prawns were very nice and fresh. What a little gem that Melbourne has missed out :)
It was very Tasty!
I dis my Order and shortly After this i for my meal, i First thought it wasnt for me and asked, but it was my meal just 5 Minutes
Beautiful winery with a stunning view and lovely Spanish food. Come with a group and try a bunch of the entrees. The pinchos were great as was the tapas platter. We tried both the cheesecake and the leche fritter with the fritter being very popular. Staff is attentive and friendly as well. They also have llamas!
“What a wonderful Sunday afternoon.”. I noticed Peter JC 's review of del Rios on Urban Spoon, and just had to add some balance. Below is a copy of a review I posted on another site - I noted Peter also posted negatively on the same site. I'm sorry that Peter had such a bad experience at del Rio. We had an excellent experience. My post ....I have just returned home after after spending the most delightful two hours at del RIOS winery. My wife and I decided to visit "on spec", just to fill in some time on a delightful Autumn Sunday afternoon. The first thing that must be said it how marvelously friendly and helpful ALL the staff were. We started out with some tastings at the cellar door. There was no charge at all for a glass to taste non premium wines - something that is becoming less than the norm at cellar doors. There was a $5 a glass tasting fee which has previously been commented upon by another reviewer, but really this is the norm at all good cellar doors. And the five dollars is even refunded if you make a purchase, The wines which we tasted were of a very high quality and the lass who assisted us was extremely knowledgeable. I also thought that the wines were quite reasonably priced. We'd already had lunch, but did decide to have a little food with a bottle of the 2012 chardonnay. Once again staff were very efficient and nothing seemed too much trouble. They were not pushy and allowed us time top choose - at the same time they seemed to turn up just at the right moments. We tried a little tapas which was generously portioned and was very nice. (Most certainly we will return next time with bigger appetites, and look forward to sampling more of what's on offer.)It has been commented on previously by other reviewers, but the location is quite wonderful. Very peaceful and so relaxing. After our meal were were greeted by the owner's Mum, lovely Damiana, and later by his wife Esther. Both spoke with us for some time, telling a little of the history of the winery, and of their hopes for the future. (Damiana even showed us photographs of her children and grand-children - obviously a very proud "mama" and "abuela"). It was getting a little later in the day, and many of the the lunch time crowd had moved on, so perhaps this personal touch doesn't happen for everyone, but it was a lovely way to end our visit.del Rios is a place that we shall certainly be returning to - with friends and family.Visited May 2015
We had such a lovely lunch at Del Rio’s… highly highly highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Such lovely customer service (the best we’ve received anywhere really) from the beautiful Meredith - made us and our little one feel so very welcome. All of the staff we chatted too were really lovely. Food was so tasty and a really nice selection too. Really beautiful atmosphere & view too! Thank you guys, we will back! Also, such a perfect place to hold an event or a function, so we will definitely think of an excuse to hold one here 😍🙌
del Rios Winery is an outstanding spot for lunch. We made the drive over from the East and it was certainly worth the drive. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was well presented and tasted amazing. The service was prompt and friendly.
The view is spectacular and they have a fantastic patio for the warmer days.
There was a small number of menu items for vegans and vegetarians. They certainly cater more for meat eaters. But the tortilla was delicious.
I would highly recommend del Rios Winery.
Having done my fair share of wine tastings across Europe, I can honestly say the wines at Del Rios are outstanding.
The atmosphere Gus and Esther have created is so warm and welcoming. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. Thank you to Lin, Juan and the team for looking after us so well.
Would highly recommend wiling away an afternoon on the ledge with a vino overlooking the vineyard. Already looking forward to my next visit!
Amazing views, polite and friendly staff. The wine was worth the one hour drive. The only downside was our three kids meal (Fish & Chips) when they came out the fish was still frozen. The staff were great in handling the matter and they took it off the bill as well. Definitely would go back!!!!
del Rios Winery and Restaurant was amazing!!! The food, service and venue was out of this world. We had such a lovely day and would recommend to anyone to go visit del Rios Winery and Restaurant in a heart beat. The views were awesome as well and so many options to eat inside or outside, they really do cater for anyone and everyone. Well done guys and we will be back for sure!
