Good value, delicious food with fast & friendly service. Great coffee. There's something for everyone with their good range of brunch choices.
Total cost of pictured food with 1 large coffee & 1 regular coffee=$43. 👍
The service here is amazingly warm and friendly. Felt really nice after the terrible welcome we had at Booth Street Bistro across the road. I had the Clover Baked Breakfast Hot Pot With Toast (Chorizo & Goats Cheese) and Banana Smoothie. The Hot Pot was nice but eggs could be a bit less cooked and runnier, toast was nice but could be fluffier and smoothie could've been sweeter. Minor quibbles as it is very popular with locals. Great place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast.
A cute and welcoming cafe offering a family-friendly atmosphere and plenty of toys and nic nacs to keep little ones busy. They serve a fantastic babycino with a marshmallow and balloon and kids toasties are free for under 8s!
Stepping into Clover Cafe is like stepping into a kids cubby house or bedroom. The walls are covered in colourful artwork and toys and nic nacs fill the shelves along the wall. They have two Phil and Teds highchairs attached to the end of their heavy wood tables. It was so fantastic to come into a cafe and have a highchair ready and waiting for my 1 year old and it made me feel really welcome with my little ones. The friendly waitress took our coffee orders straight away and even brought out a marshmallow and balloon on a cute plate for Miss 1 who is not a huge fan of babycinos (gasp!). Miss 4 devoured hers within 5 seconds and they both loved their balloons.
...There's a sprinkling of labna and sumac in the description of lots of dishes. Combined with the iced mint tea, you realise you are somewhere with a subtle Arabic influence.
Clover is a cute local cafe in Annandale which prides itself on customer satisfaction and community involvement. Happily, the food is as good as their intentions, and the menu caters to so many moods, tastes and diets.

Situated on Booth Street, this café is adorably cute, interior and exterior! Open kitchen at the end, I love the layout and the décor. I love the shelves and the cabinet which are embedded on the wall, the nutella bottle which is not empty and the other b
Good food (but no goats' cheese). The coffees were good but they came out all quite far apart which was a little awkward when with two other friends. The food however came promptly. I had the chorizo hot pot (baked eggs and beans with chorizo and goats cheese). It was delicious but I was quite disappointed that I couldn't taste the goats cheese, in fact I'm not even sure if there was any it.
The waiters were friendly but we waited quite a while to order and then later to get the check and ended up just going directly to the counter. Over-all it was good but beware, it's cash only.
My baked eggs were slightly over cooked but the staff were friendly and attentive !
Read all the bad reviews and expected the worst. The staff were friendly and engaged in idle chit chat while waiting for food. Had the eggs benedict and cant complain. Toasty bread, soft eggs and the hollandaise was warm. I had the iced coffee with no cream or ice cream so it was basically milk and coffee but it still tasted ok. My only issue is no eftpos but there is an atm right across the street about 30m away. Nice little cafe, definitely worth a second look.
I'm sure all these people saying the staff are rude etc are solidly smoking crack because every time I've been there everyone has been friendly and helpful.
French Toast always.
I've been to Clover quite a few times over the past year. I am really suprised at the bad reviews on here because I always find the service, atmosphere and food excellent. I always order the Smoked Salmon Ryvita, which is absolutely delicious and a refreshing breakfast alternative. Today I ordered the Immune Booster juice which was really tasty with a nice hit of ginger. I haven't really tried many of the other menu items because I am such a fan of the Smoker Salmon Ryvita but my husband has tried a number of the other dishes and is always really happy with his meal. I will be returning to Clover :)
Baked eggs!. The baked eggs at Clover are such a fav! Love the goats cheese and chorizo baked eggs, they've always been brought out perfect for me!!
I'm absolutely in love with the decor, it's just my style so maybe i'm biased but it's adorable. I don't get to come here as often as I'd like but it's always worth the trip.
Great coffee, average food. Clover has got the best coffee in Annandale. Service can be very slow at times.
I had A lovely time at clover this morning and a great breakfast, however can I say that the coffee came out a little late. Extra staff would be good..
I live down the road and always wander down for lunch. Some really great items on the menu and quite friendly staff. It's hip and relaxed and the Moroccan lamb salad is awesome. Apart from the obligatory pram assault by the mums who lunch, it's a cool place.

Owner's Response to fake review!. Owner's response to fake review by Cheep and Cheerful!!!
Lies, lies lies!!
Well this really shows how vindictive some people can be! This review was some jealous person telling lies in an effort to destroy what i have worked so very hard to create. Anyone who comes to Clover knows how hard we all work to give people what they want- and saying that I lie to customers while going out to smoke is preposterous and oupsetting to me. I don't smoke and I don't lie! To tell such lies to try and destroy someone's business is despicable! I work so hard and ALWAYS do everything i can for the customer- as all of our regulars know- it just worries me that anyone reading this who hasn't already been to Clover will maybe believe it- but you just have to see that there are no other reviews by this person. I know that most people reading this will know that.
This actually is a worrying thing- that someone would try to use these 'peoples' forums' to try and bad-note someones business out of jealousy- but i suppose it's just human nature.. sad but true..
Good Luck for your future 'Cheep and Cheerful'
And for all of you real people out there- good luck and god bless and maybe see you at Clover for one..
Peace, Aaron - Owner of Clover.
Great fresh and seasonal food. I like that they use free-range eggs and know where everything's sourced. The only criticism I have is the drinks - I've never experienced a good chai there (the blend usn't great and it's served in a very small teapot) and I've ordered the fresh juice and gotten a very watery drink, which was a bit disappointing considering the price. Aside from that though I'd highly recommend clover as somewhere to have brunch and a catch-up.
Nice, I enjoyed it we shared a mint and lime poached chicken salad which was very tasty and plenty big enough. My friend wanted the Moroccan lamb salad but on a Greek salad which he said was top class (not actually on the menu but the staff were more than happy to accommodate us- in fact the owner came over after he'd made it and said that it was a great idea and that he would put it on the menu next week!) Our other friends had some poached eggs with prosciutto and tomato relish, and a Wa Gyu Beef Hot pot which he said was top notch especially the bread that came with it. All in all it was a great meal and we had a good laugh with the staff and owner- it's nice to be in a place like Clover- it feels.. real. A good bunch of people serving nice food- the coffee was top notch as well. As their menu says 'Enjoy..' ;)
Great food. Slow service. Nice for breaky on Sunday mornings. Try the hot pot.
i recently moved to annandale and Clover quickly became my local. great prices for good quality coffee ($4 for a proper large, which is becoming rarer...) and friendly staff. the baked goods / sweets are a little overpriced. i'm yet to try the food, but the menu sounds great
Delicious home made baked beans, best I've had in the Inner West. The baked eggs are also great. They also sell takeaway dumplings
A good experience here. The large flat white was spacious in taste and fulsome in the mouth. The egg bake was done to perfection, with soft eggs (as asked for) and an ultra-tasty tomato sauce. Excellent chorizo sausage. Very nice; excellent value for money. The café has a colourful ambience and very pleasant and friendly staff. All in all, was the best experience possible.
13/9/19: this place only gets better! Corn fritters today we're exceptional!!
Great food - baked eggs and homemade baked beans, both perfect - great value, great service. Highly recommend.
Combine Happy Soy with amazing coffee and you get one of the best coffees I have ever had!
Good omelette and dumplings! Fast and lovely service as well.
Superb café with friendly and welcoming atmosphere, lovely rustic colourful furniture and decor, reasonably priced food and coffee. A really laid back place, child-friendly (I took a picture of the one of the staff high-fiving a baby customer! How cute!) with magazines available. Perfect place to chill and it has out door seating w/ radiator for a colder day) had a pleasant visit.
