Review Cornersmith Cafe - Annandale

We came for a quick breakfast and it was lovely! Great coffee, friendly staff, the food is on the lighter side but very good. There are seats outside which are dog friendly.

Great coffee, their baked goods are nice but a big miss on the porridge. Gummy and flavorless, no finesse on this dish regardless of how well it photographs.

The Cornersmith cooking classes are excellent! I did the Guide to Salad Making two weeks ago. Already I am putting into practice the tips and tricks that Jamie and Alex taught us. My salads are a hundred times tastier, more colorful and fresh. My family and I thank you!

Not recommended. After 20 minutes, food had arrived and been eaten. Coffees and fruit juice not (despite the latter only needing to be brought 5 metres from the fridge, and the place not being busy). Complaint met with not a word of apology, but plenty of excuses and ultimately abuse (“you’re entitled”… which I am to the food I have already paid for) and “don’t ever come back” (which I don’t intend to). I was also accused of demanding a refund and the drinks - which I hadn’t: just wanted the drinks. The food is no better than average, either…

I guess if you are desperate for a coffee when in the lovely park across the road then head here. Not the greatest coffee and the barista today (12/3/22) was a tad slow. Warning: a ‘large’ coffee is actually only an 8oz cup that is tall and thin. If paying by eftpos there is a surcharge- that is NOT advised prior to paying (illegal). All-in-all: only if you NEED a coffee!

love Corno. food is always so good and there's a really nice park across the street to take the kids. Love buying the delicious jarred goods for gifts.

Located off the main road, really peaceful atmosphere, easy to find unlimited parking (provided you are driving an under-6-metre-long-car), good for kids and dogs too, because there’s a park across the road. They also have products like honey, pickles, cordials and many more for purchase for those who enjoys their food. As Covid-Safe plan, the tables are well organised to provide dine-in customers with plenty of space. The sourdough is really amazing, crispy texture on the outside and really chewy when you bite in. The downside is that portion size is a little bit small for me, as I was expecting a little bit more for this price point. We had bipimbab, scando breakfast, kombucha and a large cap.

Stopped off for a quick coffee. The soup looks fab. Will be back to give it a try. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
