Fantastic bakery. Friendly staff, who go the extra mile. Delicious food every time, and coffee to die for. Thank you to the Hunters Hill bakery!
Love this cafe! The staff are great, best coffee, amazing salads for lunch and delicious pastries. 10/10 xx
Best sourdough in Annandale, and they will slice it thick or thin. Only gripe is the tie they use, you have to rip the packaging to get at the bread when you get home as you can't undo it. Other bakeries use a twist tie or something like that.
Great coffee. Hubby loves their lemon meringues and bacon & egg cups are delicious!!
Love that this place is my new go to for great espresso and beautiful pies & pastries!
My friend and I finally got to the Annandale store. We both had tomato and avocado smash with poached egg and we loved it AND the coffee was great
Amazing food, amazing coffee, amazing service!
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stroneground you've done it again beautiful food , Coffee to die for and a smile on everyone's dial .I always look forward to visiting the shop for an enjoyable afternoon -
Thank You ☕️ till the next time
Lovely coffee and sensational danish, yum! Cam said his brownie was very good but the milkshake was the best ever!!
Bought fig and raisin bread and had it toasted with ricotta and drizzled honey! Sublime! Wow!!! More please!!!
One of my favourite bakeries, can't beat the home made pies. Excited for Stoneground Annandale to open. Z
Thank you Stoneground Bakery for helping make today special. We appreciate your support and dedication in delivering such a beautiful centrepiece and ensuring superb customer service every step of the way.
Friendly sevice, excellent coffee and delicious food!
An incredible artisan bakery! A welcome addition to Hunters Hill.
Opening day, delicious smoked leg ham sandwich, rustic fit out....pretty cool!
Great coffee great pastries and the nicest people
Brilliant bakery with bread, pies and sausage rolls, as well as sandwiches and sweet patisserie goods. We had An amazing chicken pie!
Passed by Stoneground Bakery and decided to stop by for afternoon tea with my mum and sis. Been wanting to try the pies but haven’t had the chance as we usually visit the Hunter Hills branch for breakfast. The beef pie didn’t disappoint, lovely crust and nice filling. Couldn’t resist sharing some sweets as well!
My friend and I had a quick lunch here today.
The avocado bruschetta was good: it had a lot of tomato and feta though I’d have liked some more avocado. Top quality bread and generous portion.
The strawberry tart was excellent. Loved the consistency of the custard and the fresh strawberries.
I’d recommend this place if in the area for sure.

A lovely cafe on busy Booth Street, the staff are so friendly. I had lunch here and tried the individual quiche as well as a ready made sandwich. Both were nice and tasty. There are many sweet treats on display and the chocolate brownie was nice but not as gooey as I personally like. Coffee was good. There is lots of bread available to buy for takeaway also.
Great local bakery. Good coffee, awesome pies and omelet yes. The menu is simple, but they use good ingredients. Have been here many times and always consistent. Best coffee in the Annandale Village.
This bakery/cafe is located in the heart of Booth Street. I was lured in by their special. The service here is friendly. Make your order as well as payment at the counter. Grab your number and a table. There is a choice of indoor or alfresco dining.
I had the Pulled Lamb Eggs Benedict. Weirdly the pricing is different from the sign on the counter compared to their menu. It was a combination of a breakfast and lunch item. It was a pulled lamb on top of salad with poached eggs topped with a mayonnaise type sauce (rather than hollandaise) and balsamic glaze. The bread was delicious. The concept seemed right and it tasted fine but I don't think it was quite executed right. I also had a Mocha and they use Will & Co Coffee.
Cute little cafe & bakery on Booth street.
Extremely busy early in the morning on weekends.
The owners mother in law makes one of the best spanakopita I've ever had the pleasure of scoffing down but you have to get in early in order to get your hands on its flakey, buttery goodness. Pies are.Good too but low rating is due to a 3 inch piece of.cling wrap I found in the chiken & leak pie.
Coffee is ok, I'm not a huge fan of the beans but hey I've got to be honest I'm fussy with my coffee.
Bianca: In another life I was a baker, a bakess? A bread roll? All I know, is that a life without carbs, really isn’t worth living. My very first legitimate job in high school, was the all-around ‘bread queen’ at Brumby’s Bakery on Leichhardt’s, Norton st. I’ve continued that love affair with bread to this very day. Bread, pastries and burgers are really the singular reason I dedicate so much time to exercise. The more you move the more you moo!!
We just discovered our new favourite bakery and the worst (best) part? These guys make a mean breakfast that's well priced, generous and bloody tasty but the display inside this European style bakery is where it's at. Tarts, croissants, loaves of bread, handmade pies and heaps more delicious baked goods already have people lining up outside this new Annandale cafe. They're serving Will and Co coffee which is as equally bold as their food, making this new eatery an all-rounder. Whether you're after a hearty beef pie, a bacon and egg roll, a sweet treat or smashed avo, these guys have got you sorted. Oh and these tarts? Out of this world. The tart case itself is worth writing home about and the fillings? Wowser. Definitely try the lemon meringue and the Greek custard tart (made using a secret family recipe).
Quite good bacon and egg roll, though the egg was cooked a bit more than you'd expect so there was no runny yolk. The sauce for the roll was a nice tomato relish, much more enjoyable than the commercial sauces you often find. My friend also really enjoyed her French toast.
The coffees were fine, a bit weak and milky. I think the food is better here, but the coffee is better at Precinct 37 next door.
Prices overall were very reasonable, we were pleasantly surprised. They were not doing table service when we were there, but it took them 10 minutes to mention that to us even though it was pretty quiet, and overall I didn't find the staff to be particularly helpful or friendly.
The location has its ups and down. On Booth St next to the pedestrian crossing, it means there's a lot of traffic stopping and starting right next to you. There's also a lot of passing pedestrians and dogs, which makes for some good people watching.
This is my favourites place for coffee on Booth St and they have amazing baked goods and sandwiches! Definitely recommend getting a sandwich, they’re massive, fresh and delicious, also decently priced!
Wonderful staff, very friendly. Make fantastic coffee and strawberry toast is worth travelling for!

Almond croissant was very good with no boring bits!
THE best French toast I have EVER had! ♥ Great coffee keeps getting better
Popped in for tea and something sweet 🍬 and what a great experience! 🎉 Nice friendly crew, excellent choice, great ambience. Chose English Breakfast and strawberry tart and came away very pleased. Top place.
After about 100 long black coffees in Sydney, the best one of them was in here. Combined with in-house made sausage roll (slight on the dry side, though) and super friendly service earns the 5 stars
