Review Casalingo - Apollo Bay

Really delightful experience from start to finish. Booked a table outside so we could bring our dog, the staff set it up just for us (it was raining almost all day and night) so that we were dry and warm on arrival. The gluten free pizza base was so good I could have been fooled (husband is a coeliac), the duck was very well portioned and my prawn ravioli were hearty and perfectly cooked. Decent wine list but the stand out is the service - the staff are friendly, fun and fussed over the dog. Great night out if you're in Apollo Bay.

Came here for dinner when told by the owner that the restaurant was fully booked out, but negotiated a table to fit 9 people! Great customer service. I had the gnocchi beef ragu, which to be honest was bland. However, this was very pleasant experience as the owner was flexible in the way he dealt with situations like this.

Love the Seafood Pasta and their Pizzas. Seafood is really fresh. Like to point out Elliot for being really pleasant and amazing! Keep up the great work!:) Highly recommended, stop here if you pass by Apollo Bay!

Staff were amazingly friendly, and owner / managers was so accommodating. Pizza was a bit lacking but very reasonably priced. However I had a better pizza at the distillery up the road. Which I would have expected the opposite given this restaurants focus. Wine is fairly marked up. Overall, nice venue and atmosphere just order the pasta over the pizzas.

Firstly, what's with the price? Only size is medium, but they're charging the former large price. Pretty outraged, as really, they were more like a small. Super overpriced for what you get. As for the pizza itself, it was OK. Nothing to write home about. What is with the food in Apollo Bay? Either we've been unlucky or this is just how it is here. Such a shame.

We’ve actually ordered a lot of food, while my phone powered off and I couldn’t photograph all of them. 😭We had linguine marinara and the blue swimmer crab one. I love the latter one most. My friends ordered risotto and roasted duck. It turned out duck has the highest compliment. And my fav affogato didn’t disappoint me. I love their lovely display and sweet ice cream. You must go and try their food when you pass by the town.

I ate here with a large group a few weeks ago. We had a provate room. The food was brilliant. The food came quite fast considering how big our group was. And boy was it delicious !!! I had a roasted duck meal. Oooh la la la, melted in my mouth. Their alcohol selection was top notch The place had a great vibe. Highly recommend it

Staffs are very friendly and nice. Food is tasty but overpriced, the portions are a bit small. There are only 4 raviolis for my main course, definitely not enough. We had 1 entree and 3 main dishes and 2 dessert. Yet my partner felt like he could still eat another pizza.
