Good variety of food to choose from. Value for money and quick service. Pizza’s relatively thin crusted and flavored perfectly (not too salty). Salt & Pepper squid was good too.

AMAZING! Stayed in Apollo Bay over the long weekend. We tried this place one the first night and it was so good they we did not try anywhere else. It’s a one stop shop and all my family where very happy. Delicious pizza, salads, seafood, lamb gyros…… the list can go on! I don’t understand the complaints about customer service! Hospitality is one of the hardest industry’s to work in, I actually felt sorry for the workers as they where all very busy. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for delicious and very fresh food. For people that actually know their food and work in hospitality the quality & freshness is enough for me, and prices are fair.

I ordered a chicken burger and small chips with gravy. Well priced and quick service. Chips with gravy were AMAZING. Highly recommend! I have yet to eat burger as I was too full after chips.

This is the best place we have eaten at in the last three days of being here. Nothing fancy,burgers,pizza,steak sandwiches ,coffee etc. Eat in or takeaway.fast service. I had pizza yummy. Best pizza in a long time. Hubby had the steak sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices very reasonable

Went in for a late lunch as the kids were starving. Queens Birthday Long weekend and at around 4pm, Georges was one of the only main restaurants with open kitchen. There was not much open on the main strip until after 5.30pm. (no staff most likely reason) We were able to order Pizza t and it was the best pizza I have had in a very long time. Perfect thin based crust and quality ingredients for topping. Given how busy it was, the restaurant was clean and the staff lovely. My go to in Apollo Bay from now on.

My first time to try George’s fresh fish and chips was 6 years ago. And I was so excited to come visit again after lockdown:) Same tasty food and even better service! Highly recommended.

Just don’t go. Our pizza and burgers had giant chunks of raw onion. The calamari was overcooked , greasy and rubbery. There is no love here. They are just playing a tourist numbers game.

Foodcourt style establishment, most likely set up to take advantage of the large coach tours that constantly move through Apollo Bay. Average tasting, somewhat bland and partly pre-prepared food but fine for the price. Very convenient location, very large seating capacity, very clean and convenient. Chicken is halal.

We were having lunch early at around 11am and wanted pizza but the lady after combing her hair behind the counter said the pizza section isn't opened. We were disappointed but decided on having chicken and chips which were hot and fresh. Within 10 mins an bus of around 12 people walked in and ordered fish n chips and pizzas. I wasn't happy, all they needed to say was "We should be open in 10 mins if you would like to wait" we then could have made a decision to wait or not. It's called customer service. Disappointed!

Quick and friendly service. Coffee was quite good quality but a little expensive for a small. The food choices were quite extensive but we did not get a chance to stop for food. Pizza did smell amazing though.

Like others here, I really think this place deserves a solid 3.5 but 4 would be stretching the friendship for what is essentially a food court of take away places, with some seating in a huge barn of an open area. Like shopping centre food courts, you go to the counter you fancy, choose your meal and wait for it and grab your own cutlery if you want to eat it there. Drinks are only the same bottled fizzy drinks and fruit juices you’d find at any take away. Meals are a fraction on the pricey side for normal old take away but great value when compared with pub meals around and a good site quicker. Hubby and I have had chicken, chips and salad and enjoyed the good fresh salad, likewise I enjoyed grilled fish another time and pizza was perfectly fine yet another. For a “tourist trap” of a town, we thought this was a great, cheerful, quick, clean option.

Price good. Taste bad. Ordered chicken with fries - chicken was too dry. Staff was not polite. Bought one nugget to taste and they were laughing and making faces! At least we are sensible with tasting and then order more rather than wasting! Left the chicken as is! Nugget was good.

Not sure why this place has such a low rating, the service was great, there's a huge menu and it has one of the nicest fit outs in town. I had a takeaway Chicken Souvlaki ($13) great quality pita bread that is freshly toasted, tasty grilled chicken and loaded with the usual fillings, lettuce tomato onion and garlic sauce. Definitely recommend if you're after a quick and inexpensive feed.

George's meets it's market well with a get them in , feed them, then get them out setup. The food from the pizza and fish and chip joint are good , but nothing special. It really suits a family looking for grab and go. The only problem with George's is that the service is really bad. There are a couple of guys there that just shouldn't be out the front with customers, go wash some dishes or find something that makes you happy. I know how busy you are but come on!

This is one of the oldest places in the area, the food is decent but not fancy nor exciting for people on holiday. They have huge menu including pizza, burgers, fish and chips and lots of off menu items. Pricing is not bad either. Service is good and they're always super busy.

I was going for a 3.5 but that's not allowed anymore (4 would be ott sorry). We had a lunch stop at Apollo Bay on our way to the 12 apostles. I don't know how or why I came into George's but I guess it turned out okay. We had 1/2 a roasted chicken with rice, and the fisherman's basket (I think) which was like a platter of prawn, scallops, flake and french fries. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the menu to confirm the exact name and nature of the items we ordered. The stuff in the fisherman's basket tasted a bit bland, but that might just be an Indian thing. The service was kinda chaotic though. But there were a lot of people so it's understandable.

I ordered a burger and a pizza. Burger was Okay but Pizza was burnt. The food court was crowded. The staff was very arrogant and getting annoyed on even small requests such as request for informing when the seating would be available. Must avoid.

I just had 6 of the freshest, bartered scallops and they were absolutely scrumptious. Cooked fresh, no precook and reheat and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Located in the bustling market in Apollo Bay, this place is a perfect pit stop on the Great Ocean Road. It's a great place for coffe, a soft drink , lunch or for simple snacks. From pizza to pasta to fish and chips, this place has great variety. Since I was not too hungry, I ordered a plate of fish and chips from the kids section. It cost me 8.5 AUD which was quite reasonable. If you sit near the window, it would give a feel of fine dining as the tall cactuses look very pretty. I would definitely recommend this place.

A food court with a variety of food available, was on a roadtrip down the great ocean road, passed by apolla bay and was super hungry. Grabbed a regular sized seafood pizza; toppings were plentiful.

Not quite sure how to rate this place. It is a food court with a wide range of takeaway options + free wifi, which worked well. With two of us there on a march sunday lunch, I felt like something with vege's so a yiros it was. Ca,e quite quickly and was tasty, with generous portions of meet and the pita bread was toasted well, crunchy and tasty. Served on an aluminium tray a nice touch. Ate outdoors and I felt good value overall! Basic food but done well

Decent pizzas. Family size at $20 any toppings is good value too. Have had the chicken and salads also and souvlakis and chips. All pretty good. Large variety of food. Very busy so bit slow.

Down in Apollo Bay for the day and thought we'd get something for dinner. The restaurants are pretty pricey this time of the year so ended up getting a pizza from George's food court. Had to wait 45 mins before we got it which wasn't great due to amount of customers they had but it was worth the wait. We had half Mediterranean and half Mexican and both were very good.

Had made a pitstop here en route to the 12 apostles. The crew is good and cooperative. They serve vegetarian food which is hard to find in this area. Tried their veggie pizza 🍕. The thin crust loaded with exotic vegetables tasted good. Pasta was a let down. It was just cheese cream and boiled pasta. Could have been much nicer if some veggies had been loaded in and little more juicy. Was kind of dry. But for a pit stop, its just fine. Keep munching!! Ciao!! 🍷🍷

Driving down to the 12 apostles we thought of trying this area. I was a bit sceptical to try a food court out while on vacation in Australia. But none the less, we were in a hurry. So thought will try it out. And I was very disappointed. I had the Fish basket. Every item in it was was fried in the same batter with zero seasoning. Everything tasted pretty blant. Its not expensive, so for a quick bite and not too heavy on the pocket it's fine. But for those who wants to taste fresh fish and good fish n chips, not the place I'd suggest.

We visited Georges to grab some dinner after evacuating our family home in Separation Creek due to bush fires. The staff were so rude to everyone that came through the door when we were there. I understand it was Christmas Day and everyone wants to get home to their families however I was disgusted by the lack of compassion and basic manners shown towards those who are facing the possibility of loosing everything today. We are very disappointed and our family, who has lived in the area for over 50 years, will never be going back.

It was a pizza. Really. In a big food court with bright lights and long tables. Perfect to order as a take-away, and retreat to our hotel room and watch the Voice. The family size, at $20, was reasonably priced though, with all the toppings that came with 'Meat Lovers' was too much for the two of us. As for quality, it was fine, neither great, nor bad. A pizza.

Good food, interesting business idea!. Interesting establishment, something here for the whole family. Felt like a whole lot of mini shops in one, but ran by the same people? Had the fish and chips, quite enjoyed it. Worth a look if you want something quick for lunch!

Very nice place! Fully recommend!. Been there a couple of times on the weekend during winter. I tried the fish and chips and they were nice, but the pizza was my favourite. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone, especially the Greek pizza!

Great Pizza!. Stayed there during August and avoided the place first night cause of the bad reviews..But it was the only place open after 8.30 even though it was saturday night! Pizza guy was friendly and made us a amazing Pizza!! We went the next day for Fish and chips but it was too busy and had pizza again! Still great! -----02 Sep, 2014----- Surprisingly good.. Stayed in Apollo bay for a 4 days during August with my wife and avoided this place cause of the bad reviews.One night the pizza section was the only place open in Town so we had no choice ! Every place seemed closed by 8.30 even though it was a Saturday night! The PIZZA was excellent and we kept having Pizza for the next few days.From now on and I will not trust reviews but go with my gut feelings. Lunch times are really busy with tourists so it takes no brainer to avoid at those times.

This shop means busines, good quality food served quickly. If you are looking for a 5 star dining experience obviously go elsewhere. But if your after tasty fish and chips and pizza this is the place to go. I sat there watching them serving 100s of tourist without a hitch. Very impressed

Bad, absymal and rude behaviours . Top fast food though. Where should I start ? One of the staff members exchanging f... words with probably a friend of his ! The grey haired standing like a porn star behind the cashier and stairing at the chinese women tourists !!! Asking for information about the town and everyone pretends is not living there or they are new in town . Lucky for the place the seafood meals me and my friends had were really good thanks to the oldest guy who works on the fryers who suggested as the flake which was to die for . Unfortunately the staff of the shop is something that the manager must work on . Its a pitty that these rude people serving such a nice fast food .

Just got greased up and down by the female there. Never again am I giving them any money. I got the most foul and pathetic look up and down by the blonde Greek woman there which made me feel truly awful. The look you get of utter disgust and hate. Just because I'm dressed nicely doesn't mean you can look at me or any of your customers like that. Shocking. The chicken and chips was dry, the chips half uncooked. Obviously relying on the tourists as nobody in their sane mind would ever go back. I'm Greek too... never been looked at so horribly. Spend your money elsewhere!!!

A food barn that has no soul. It looks like it should be in a 'wog pizza/cafe' series on SBS. The kids have taken over after Mum & Dad worked their butts off and, they are going to 'modernise and drag that old place into the twentieth century! Well they have massive rows of plastic tables, semi-self serve counters, pizzas (with a hundred empty boxes on display), demarcated counters to streamline food providing jobs and a loud PA. Zero for atmosphere, service about 2, food maybe 2 1/2 and value about 2 1/2. I'm sure they are helping to employ their old school drop-out friends and in peak season are probably full but that is not for quality/value but to satisfy the Mums & Dads with screaming kids and folks (like me) who are just tied and expecting not too much decision-making and just need to eat NOW.

Service. Bad attitude of the staff ruined this experience. Abrupt, unhelpful and one member of staff even rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath as my husband left a drink on the counter whilst he collected his salad before he came back to pay for everything. Never went back again and would never recommend it to anyone.

Great food. I go to Apollo Bay with my family every year and for a tourist town their prices are within my expectations..The food is great and many choices for my two young children which they seem to always love their pasta meals not to mention their huge fish and chips serves.We also LOVE their pizzas first grade produce nothing is processed or tinned with the exception of tuna and anchioves,their chicken is actually real chicken which they roast themselves not processed fake stuff that you get in a lot of pizza places in Melbourne.Worth every dollar when you are getting quality food for it !!!!Highly recommend George's Food Court in the heart of Apollo Bay.

Ok food, bad attitude. The food isn't too bad but the service and attitude really likes lets the place down. i feel like a walking creadit card every time i walk in there (eaten there over 6 times) cos thats all i think they see me as, which is a shame as i would probably frequent the place more often otherwise. good choice of menu. pizza and fish n chips not bad either, but the coudn't care attitude doesnt cut it with me. sorry :(

Only ordered pizza and unfortunate to say that every ingredient possessed an artificially frozen or canned character. It was also untastefully overpriced but hey summertime resort town.
