Stopped here on a whim for dinner and it was the best decision I made all day. Staff here were really nice and although a little loud the atmosphere was really good and up vibe. Snapper and chips, wasn't snapper. Ordered at 12 via app. Served 35 minutes after everyone else and chasing the waiter. Fish was very flaky with no substance. Salad had zero dressing. Asked waiter for vinegar, non arrived. Great venue, over priced food and drink. Felt this way on more than one occas
Nice venue for a beer or a good dining experience. Quality menu a step above the usual pub grub. Outside tables are a bit rustic and splintery. The outdoors ambience is significantly obstructed by the winter marquis. It impedes into the area and segregates the customers.
I was there to check out a bit of Art Deco style architecture, the old part of the hotel and the community hall across the road are beautiful.

Great tasting pub food in a nice ambient place. Good location in an a iconic place. The food selection is tasty, presented well and looks like a well oiled team. 5 stars ⭐️
I went to an event in the upstairs area and the service and staff were very friendly and did a good job. Food was plentiful and of a good quantity. The host chose fish and chips, karrage chicken, a salad and a beef check on mash which was the star. Side note: Friday nights post work theme is young
