We came here using a Scoopon deal... we were not disappointed. Mike the Chef and owner was a fantastic host. He explained how things worked and even cooked our first lot of meat and seafood with suggestions for sauces. We had the buffet bbq and ate plenty. There was rice and Singapore noodles, paratha, soup and vegetables to accompany the plentiful supply of meat. We will definately return as it was a great night and fantastic food.
Beautiful place to eat, delicious fresh food, fun to cook and share, great service and cooking demonstrations, the sauces go beautifully with the meats, seafood and vegetables, would definitely recommend and come back.
Fresh food, great service, nice atmosphere and free beers/wine. Visited last night, I was lucky enough to get Mike doing the BBQ with his unique sauce recipe and everything tested awesome!! Definitely will be back :D

Best restaurant experience ever! So much fun to choose your own fresh meats and vegetables then cook them right there at your table. A cold tall pint glass of tiger with the meal was just perfect. Definitely coming back soon!

A seriously great restaurant with everything you would expect of a great restaurant. Excellent decor, venue, parking, close proximity to freeway and brilliant table set up with state of the art hot plates. The seafood was fresh and good quality and the variety of meats again fresh and very well prepared. Their Kim Chee and wide variety of condiments was delicious. The owners Mike and Cindy introduced themselves and provided stunning service and assistance - they are rightly proud of their fine restaurant. We are regular diners of Korean fare and this is without doubt the best we have found in Perth and we will be regulars in the future.

Very good service, the staff were very friendly and quick to respond to us. The chef explained the whole buffet to us amd have us a demonstration. The restaurant was very well set out with good ambiance and lovely music. Great meal! The food was very tasty and we left feeling very full and satisfied.
We've got a Scoopon deal to try this place out which was great. All the meat and seafood was very fresh but the cooked fried rice and noodle must have been left in the warmer for some time so was dried out. Too bad it doesn't have hotpot too. I am comparing this restaurant to Seoul Korean BBQ as the price is very similar, but Seoul have both BBQ and Hotpot included and more variety of cooked food as well.
Went with a Scoopon. Booking by phone was quick and easy, service on the day was courteous and friendly. Some buffet items ran out quickly so topping them up in a timely manner is probably the only suggestion I can offer. Overall a reasonable selection of food and a fun dining experience.

I purchased a 4 person Scoopon for this Restaurant last week, it was $105.00 for all you can eat Korean BBQ buffet along with 2 pints of Tiger and a bottle of wine. I figured it was 25 bucks a head so if it was a let down it was only 25 bucks in the end.
We arrived at 6:00pm and only another couple was there, the host/chef Mike sat us down and gave us a run down on the operation of the table and so forth. Very user friendly and a great novelty for those who havent experienced Korean BBQ. The selection of meats was quite extensive and in line with Korean style, the seafood was also very good. Our only slight let down was that there was no Korean style sauces and marinades to go with the meats..Gochujang and Bulgogi sauce to name a few would of gone extremely well with the samgyupsal (Sliced pork belly). I mentioned a lack of Korean sauces to Mike and he told me instead has supplied chinese style sauces, I would say keep half of the chinese sauces and add the Korean sauce staples such as the Gochujang and Bulgogi as Korean diners would expect them there..as I did and I'm not even Korean! The atmosphere was inviting and friendly, time soared on by as we checked our watches only to notice 2 hrs had gone by, this was a sign that the night was quite enjoyable. The dessert on offer was slightly limited but that was ok as I'm not really a sweet tooth and Koreans dont eat a plethora of sweets either. On offer was a selection of two ice creams, vanilla and matcha. I had two servings of the matcha as it was extremely delicious. All in all the night went well and we were quite happy with the experience and value for money, I did ask my friend whether they would pay the full amount if they were to return and they said maybe..depending on whether they made changes to the sauces, making it more authentic to Korean style cuisine and also if they offered plain rice with lettuce to allow for people to have Ssambap (Korean style wrap for bbq meats). Also the option to have soju instead of sake would of been a nice touch. Mike the Chef/host was very attentive and friendly, I wish him all the best with the restaurant as it's just been recently opened.
Can't trust this review by Munchie Junkie. Didn't book properly and that's why you didn't get a table and got bitter. I called the restaurant 3 times in their available times to make arrangements and they ALWAYS picked up the phone quickly. Dodgy you.
Went to the restaurant for the first time for dinner. Great food and atmosphere with friendly staff. Meat and seafood all well seasoned and fresh. Nice Matcha green tea ice cream. Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and will definitely go back again soon.
Nice ambience in a pretty large restaurant... good service from staffs.
They provide very good quality & tasty food... quantity is definitely on the smaller side of things.
Overall is a very good dining experience for us. Nice for couples & even for large groups. (*PS: unfortunately it was closed down only weeks after our last visit)
Do you like BBQ'ing your own meats? Then you must try the Golden Age 1981 BBQ Restaurant. We went there for the first time last Thursday for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our experience of cooking the well-marinated thinly sliced pork, beef, lamb and ribs. There were also prawns, fish, squid and octopus if you like seafood, salads and delicious sauces. The staff were polite and attentive and took the trouble of showing us the ropes of how to cook the food. It's a real shame the restaurant was not crowded.
Loved Chef Mike's knowledge and enthusiasm for his work. He taught us how to cook the food to perfection on the bbq with the right condiments. Experienced the tasty food with the fusion of different Asian flavours (not just Korean) and friendly, efficient service. Great for a night out with friends or kids.
Fantastic customer service - one of the best I have ever seen! The waitress was there to help from beginning to end, she subtlely collect our dirty plates and check up on us regularly. We went on Wednesday, which turns out to be a very quiet night for them, but the selection of food were there, always making sure to refill the food before it runs out. The food was delicious. Meats were fresh, 10 different sauces provided, fruits, salad, and even ice cream (vanilla and macha green tea? Yummy!). The only down side was the location, located south of city and very well hidden. It is like a hidden gem of Perth. A must try. The place was so much cleaner and better than oppa BBQ.
