Review Cafe 96 - Ararat

Just amazing! Stopped in for breaky a couple of months ago. I was surprised. A very hearty, delicious and well-priced breakfast!! See my pic after my first bite. I didn’t need to eat until the afternoon there was so much tasty food. The cafe’s setting and ambience was nice. Staff were great and super friendly. A lot of people ordering, food arrived in good time. Highly recommend as a must stop for a bite to eat. Had been meaning to do this review for a while and is my first photo for a review I’ve ever uploaded. Thanks for a relaxing, enjoyable and delicious breakfast.

Fantastic little cafe with great coffee, fast service and reasonable prices. Bonus points for having multiple vegan options. The vegan big breakfast was generous and flavourful, and the eggs Benedict was fantastic. If you're a city slicker looking for cafe that reminds you of home, this is the one.

I’m all for supporting local businesses however I spent $75 here with my fam and as soon as we finished our meal, we were “requested” to leave to make way for a party of 11 (although our table only sits 4 and there was no information that our dine-in time was limited when we arrived). I understand they need to make way for more dine in customers but it can be done in a more polite manner. We felt the gentleman was quite rude; the diners next to us appeared quite startled too. I suggests the team takes up some customer experience training.

Great service and awesome food I had Honeycomb French toast with vanilla mascarpone, bacon and a Mocca.

Thank you for accommodating our big group. Delicious menu, served fast and great prices. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Stopped by this place on our way back to Melbourne from Grampians. It was a Sunday afternoon and ambience was great. Obviously checked their ratings first and our experience tells that it deserves a solid 5 star. Great staffs, excellent food, clean restrooms and what not. Shout out to the lady with excellent coffee skills. Have included a few shots of foods we had. Genuinely recommend.

Great coffee and I’m very picky about my coffee. Lovely service. Watched one of the waitress take care of an elderly local as soon as she walked in so she didn’t have to wait in the cue and could sit down str8 away. Impressed.
