Review 8days Cafe - Armadale

Yalamanchili Karishma
Ambience is good and comfortable with the heaters in winter. The foor is not bad. The variety of items in brunch manu can be improved.
Thomas Reeh
Excellent cafe in the middle of Armadale. Service is excellent with COVID protocols in place and checked. The coffee is A1. We had the porridge and chilli eggs for breakfast - both highly recommended. Licensed and more substantial offerings for lunch etc. Definitely worth a visit.

Found 8 days cafe with my partner while trying to look for a nice eatery to enjoy breakfast. Initially was served by a young waiter and was then taken over by a waiter named Jordan. Jordan was an amazing waiter whom ensured everything was ordered correctly and to our liking, it was the first time in a while my partner and I felt like we actually mattered as a customers. Our food did take about 45 minutes to come out, thankfully we had a delicious juice to help us wait but overall it was a nice experience, the cafe has an awesome atmosphere and at best the food was nice as well.

I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, not very busy on a Saturday afternoon and good service and excellent food.

Good service, coffee. Plating of food is fabulous.

Great experience here for an unplanned Sunday brunch. Lovely venue and location. Excellent, friendly and efficient service that made you feel like a guest rather than just a customer. Considering the delicious food, creatively constructed and brilliantly presented it's very reasonably priced. No hesitation recommending this cafe and we look forward to visiting again soon. Coffee and smoothies were very good. Brunch platter did it for me with a great selection of tasty items, my wife thoroughly enjoyed the impressive Pea & Halloumi fritters. Well done to the team.

Best coffee in Melbourne. Great vibe and amazing food & drink. I'll definitely come back.
Mick Sanders
Aussie Burger (w/chips) was amazing for someone as hungry as I was. I bought coffee to go and my only regret was not trying it until up the street because I would have bought the beans to take home had I'd known the long black would taste so good.

Visited this place quite a few times. Without a doubt the best cafe in the area. Nothing to complain about. They always manage to look after you well, even on busy Sundays. We decided to sit outside as inside was full, but as soon as there was a table available, they moved us back in, although it was our idea to sit outside. This makes them heroes in my books. Smashed avo and the croquettes were awsome. Coffee was perfect and sevice was 5 star. Shout out to the fella that runs the place. You guys are doing a awsome job. Definitely will be back
Georgina Goldenberg
Great food but the part that impressed me the most was the customer service. Very attentive wait staff and kid friendly. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Amazing food, amazing service. I highly recommend 8days. Can’t wait to come back!

I come here every couple of weeks to work when i need to get out of my office. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the coffee is perfect and the food is absolutely delicious. The cafe is bustling all day with a massive variety of people. I highly recommend!

Really friendly and helpful staff. The food and coffee were definitely worth going back for!

Charlotte Viney
Amazing food and service Avocado and broad beans with a balsamic reduction was delicious and great coffee
Christina Alward
we love 8days - the menu is great - a scrumptious variety of dishes. Shame some of the high benches have been removed from the side street.
Marisa Malcha
Really lovely place to have breakfast and the staff are nice
Christina Fonias
Probably one of the better places on high street Armadale. Beautiful food and great staff and atmosphere.

Went on a nice sunny weekend. The place has got outdoor and indoor areas. We were seated outdoors. The place has got a nice ambience. We ordered the Buddha Bowl and Corn and Zucchini fritters. Both the dishes were as good as they looked. I highly recommend the place for a nice breakfast or brunch. <br/>I’ll probably go again.
Nicolamtan
A little disappointed by the service received and the staff knowledge and processes of the cafe. It seems to me that maybe the owners or management has changed hands. Staff were forgetful, would put down a mini fork to eat toast (???) and set out a spoon for a toasted sandwich (???), forgot a few items that were ordered... Overall quite a slow meal even though we mentioned we were in a bit of a rush which we thought wouldn’t be a problem since there were only two or three other small tables seated. Food and drinks were ok but I wouldn’t go back again.
Viviann Do
Been here a few times already but was disappointed for the first time when I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs. Was more of a thick, a tad overcooked omelette on toast and was very, very dry. Despite so many wonderful ingredients listed to be in the eggs, it tasted a little bland. Have had the fritters and eggs Benedict before and those were amazing.

I enjoyed a delicious dinner at this gorgeous cafe! I ordered the; Prawn & Lobster Tortellini 🦐🤩 <br/><br/>Homemade Pasta stuffed with a sweet, tender delicious prawn and lobster, absolutely melt in the mouth! 🌟💕<br/>Highly recommend for dinner 🍴

After a solid session at the gym in the morning, was on the lookout for a healthy option - enter 8 days cafe<br/><br/>Meal: Brunch<br/><br/>Ordered: The gym junkie <br/><br/>Ordered the gym junkie to keep my health kick alive and was quite happy. Egg, salmon, avocado and spinach (all my faves, only missing mushrooms!) kept me satisfied and full! Was pretty happy with this, simple yet hit the spot!
Juhi- Culture And Cuisine
Stopped here for a cheeky coffee stop.<br/><br/>Wasn't a huge fan of the coffee but the vibe of the cafe was pretty good.<br/><br/>Very quick service and great food options.

Came in on a sunday morning at peak time and service was great and food came quickly. The coffee was outstanding and the eggs were cooked to perfection. This place is a great cafe and would highly recommend.<br/><br/>
Dirk
Always liked this place for simple eggs on toast and coffee - but this morning the service was woeful. Waitress forgot to put in my coffee order, forgot to give me a menu, wifi not working at the cafe, when coffee did arrive it was cold, and then when paying the guy serving was dismissive and barely said a word to me. In a service industry and with so much competition in the area you have to expect better.
FoodieGuru_770
Good not brilliant. The menu is extensive but everything had a little problem with it. The tea cups were a little dirty and the wrapI asked for dairy free and I also asked for no mayo. It had mayo and then toasted it wasn’t great. The crowd is an older crowd as well. Prefer Moby up the road.
Sab Katerel
Very easily the worst, most unprofessional cafe I have ever been to.<br/>Went here with my grandmother who uses a walker, who had trouble entering the cafe, at its raised entry. When we arrived we were ushered right to the back of the cafe, where the lighting was dim and the table lacked room.<br/>From what I remember, the meals were quite alright and arrived quite promptly.<br/>However, where we were sitting in the cafe, two of the three seats were proper chairs and the other was a kind of leather bench seating against the wall. I sat on the leather bench seating.  After shuffling just slightly back into my seat, I felt my world topple as I fell into the seat. The cushioning of the leather bench gave way and I fell into the cavity underneath it. I was not hurt, only shaken, but mostly grateful my grandmother had not chosen to sit here.<br/>When we alerted one of the wait staff to this, she provided the excuse that this bench seating was also a storage unit for their extra supplies and such, and we were given little sympathy.<br/>At the point of paying for our meals, one of my dining partners politely mentioned this to the gentleman at the till who appeared to be the manager. He seemed not to care at all. He lacked professionalism in his excuse and seemed, as his colleague did, to give a basic justification that covered his ass. No sympathy was shown.<br/>A fairly good meal cannot compensate for this absurd and experience, which was man-handled by '8 Days'' staff.<br/>Every time I go past this cafe now, I get shivers.
LilSherz
Disappointed - ratios were out on the croquettes, brioche bacon and egg dishes. Soy chai tasted odd... not a fan. Ambiance was good and waiting staff were great.

8 Days Cafe is a lovely family friendly hotspot located in Armadale that really understands what it takes to make customers happy and keep them continually coming back for more.  Whether you’re a coffee, food or wine lover 8 Days Cafe will tick all your boxes. Serving a tasty range of all day breakfast, lunch from 11:30am and dinner on Thursday and Friday nights.

Came here for a work lunch and had the salmon penne. It was delicious! Couldn’t fault the dish at all and they had friendly service, a little slow though
Vege Eats
Only had enough time to grab a quick croissant here and my partner had toast with sides. Croissant was nice and so was my partners meal but the pieces of toast were really small. Menu seems pretty overpriced so probably wouldn’t come back just for that reason. Toilets were a bit smelly
The Food Queen
Nice breezy place with plenty of space between tables. I had poached eggs and mushrooms, very tasty mushrooms btw and a delicious fresh juice. Large glass with a couple blocks of ice- good to see they don't skimp here. The staff, when they were around, were friendly and pleasant but hard to attract. Had to wave my arm around to try order a coffee after the meal. And had to go to counter to ask for the bill. So, fix that up and everyone will win.
Erica
Asked for dressing on the side of avo and Persian fetta. Arrived with dressing on the meal and some on the side. I mentioned it to the waitress and had to emphasise that to be fair I had requested no dressing on the meal. So take two came out but a smaller version!!! Punishment from the Kitchen! We were not charged therefore for coffee but I would not return. We had just put this cafe on our agenda but no! The meals do seem to rely heavily on dressings/oils.
Fusspot
Overpriced & very underwhelmed brunch <br/><br/>I had the salmon corn fritters and coffee & bill came to $26!<br/><br/>Probably the worst corn fritters I've had (and definitely the most expensive)! Tasted very oily, heavily fried batter with Parmesan ? Can't describe the taste :(<br/><br/>Very disappointed as I was very hungry and was guided by the high reviews. Not sure why? <br/><br/><br/>

Impressed with warm acknowledgement and perfect service. Starts things off so well.<br/><br/>I love 8 Days position on the corner of High Street & Lambeth Avenue. <br/><br/>🐕 friendly outdoor seating. Some under cover some under trees so should be shady enough in full summer sun. <br/><br/>Huge menu to choose from it just ordered their house made lemon lime and bitters and almond mocha. <br/><br/>Both were very good. Service very good, attentive and yet not invasive. Look forward to returning for food!
Liyao8ii8
Great coffee and service from friendly staff and an attentive owner. The seafood linguine was fresh and deliciously well-flavoured. Will def be back since we are moving into the neighbourhood and on the hunt for new local haunts..
Dora & Craig
The restaurant had outdoor and indoor seats, we chose to sit outside as it was good weather. Service was good, friendly staff. We ordered two meals was average, and coffee was good, I had Almond milk cappuccino, the Almond milk tasted a bit different to other places in a good way.
Serena Hanlon
Like the feel/look of the cafe but we didn't have a very good breakfast experience.  Firstly, the coffee was awful - very bitter in taste.  The croissant we ordered was burnt.  The poached eggs and bacon were very nice.  Staff were not very attentive.
Willtravelforfood17
The brunch here is tasty (one of the few places that serves steak and eggs on the menu) and portions are generous. Good coffee too. Our pick for brunch when we come to Armadale.
Breakfastpiggy
Absolutely love 8 days cafe! Our favourite dish is the smashed avocado because it's so generous and very tasty! Especially with the balsamic drizzle on top 🤤🤤 service is fast and atmosphere is great! 👌🏽🐷
Mark Cusack
Good food and coffee in the main strip of Armadale. Prices are normal cafe overs. Service can be a little slow on the weekends when they are busy but always very friendly. Solid local cafe and will be returning.
Ying Wang
Love the New York bagel! I also ordered the soy matcha latte but it was too hot to drink, couldn't really taste any sweetness that was supposed to come from the soy milk.
Simon
We had a lovely brunch here on Sunday and while that was partly due to the great company we were in I have to give a thumbs up to the service and quality of food. Our waitress was really friendly and pleasant without being too familiar . The brunch menu is extensive and the servings rather generous. This is ideal for a slow leisurely meal with no pretensions just sincere good quality.

Expected a lot better from an Armadale cafe. The options on the menu seemed quite enticing, however the food didn't have much flavour and too much oil/butter was used. <br/><br/>I had the linguine, it had some delicious seafood, but overall the dish was quite average. The variety of seafood in the dish was quite unique for a cafe.
@twogoodtoresist
8 days is a reliable cafe which offers a varying and rather extensive menu. However it is quite overpriced (20$ for avocado smash and over 20$ for a small salad). The coffee is great here and they are now open for dinner too
Snackloverbaby
Dropped in for breakfast with some friends and we were greeted by friendly staff. The menu offers some classic breakfast options but also a few interesting twists. My friend had the avo and Persian fetta with minted broad bean chilli dressing and it looked freaking good! Also, the lunch menu runs all day. So if you get the craving you can have a burger for breakfast! <br/>The coffees and food came out quickly and were delicious. Also, if the weather is good sitting outside is grouse. Would definitely recommend!
Mandy W
Food wise, I would think it's a little expensive given its small portion. Coffee is just okay. There was gum stuck to the bottom of the table where we sat and as I was moving I got it on my pants. Well, I guess it's easy to miss when cleaning the table given where it was stuck.
ManuManu
Yes this cafe needs a makeover and the fryer filters due for a serious clean but the service and food are both equally great. It's reflected in the bustling weekday trade. So great to have Bonsoy back at this cafe. I think they've worked out there is no substitute for a good soy latte. Thumbs up for consistency!
MarkW
As a regular for a post-workout feed I'll always keep returning: good coffee, always served hot and beautifully made. Breakfast always wonderfully cooked and of post-gym proportions! Service always friendly and welcoming. There is a reason why you become a regular at any cafe - consistency of service and quality, which they have in spades.
Good Food Lover
The seafood linguine is fantastic, but the French toast is even better! The service is excellent as well. This is a great spot for brunch or lunch.
Alex
I don't like this new version of this zomato, I don't want to leave the review, but I need to reminding me how many marks I give to this restaurant.
Borderline Sunshine
I was greeted with very friendly staff, and I continued to watch them greet each person that came through the door, as well as holding doors open for some customers. <br/>I ordered a hot chocolate - so sweet and so tasty. <br/>Also ordered the avocado with Persian feta and broad beans, rocket, and balsamic reduction - so yum! Something a little different to my usual smashed avo and was impressed. Thanks!
Miss Piggy
10/10 for coffee, alas, doughy and dense corn fritters with minimal corn content, accompanying salsa made of mainly chopped onions, and a thinly sliced French toast drowning in sugar syrup, masking any taste it might have had. Polite service.
EatToLive
Running a hospitality business on High Street Amadale to me is super challenging. The business turnover is high and a lot of investors have suffered but that is not the case for 8days I believe. The owners are very detail and know what they are doing. From a bunch of blankets for customers outside during cold days to the food, service and coffee, I got to say they are doing a pretty good job. My lamb salad is great, nice and tender. The linguini comes with a huge prawn and pasta is perfectly cooked. Our latte are fantastic. I particularly love the atmosphere inside and those charming timber tables&chairs. I hope they keep up all the good work because that is all that matters for us customers right. Highly recommended.
Chad
What a great spot on High Street for a hot chocolate and a snack or meal. We were going to eat a bit later so didn't want to eat too much. However my wife loves poached eggs and this was just perfect. We added some toasted Roma tomatoes as well. I would definitely return as their menu had many additional items that looked worth trying.
The Swine
The Swine loves him 8 Day Cafe for good foodski, caffe, hot milo and lucious home cooked piperki. If only they had strawberry Quik. This place has all the quality of a great eatery in Armadale and is a great hang with honest to goodness coffee. The Swine loves that the menu here is broad and the dishes are a not only scrumptious but picturesque - great presentation. Oops the Swines' bad - no phone for pics. The Swine may be a pig of a man but he knows a quality cafe and 8 Days fits the bill. Staff are friendly, attentive and aim to please. Go and get u some. Swine approved!
MELB JOURNAL
The food was a massive left down which lacked quality and creativity. In comparison to the competition in Melbourne, I would definitely not recommend coming here. Service was flat. Did not enjoy one bit.
Krystal
I had the smashed avocado - it was very tasty with the broad beans, rocket and balsamic! It was quite a big serving. Nice and friendly service as well
Ben Ferguson
Average food, very blah. Avocados tasted bland and so over priced <br/>Staff boring too <br/>And staff eating instead of serving isn't a great look
World In A Bite
Foods are average .. I find the items are overpriced (see menu)... Staffs are really friendly and the cafe is colourful 🎏 ... Give this a try if your budget can be stretched 🙈🙉🙊
Mzlanah
I can proudly say that this is one of my favourite places to eat, as I'm sure you can tell from my many pictures. The staff are always friendly. 8 days offers healthy alternatives and fresh juices. The food comes out quickly and is always fresh.
Dinesh Peter
Had the corn fritters which looked a lot better than it tasted. The fritters seemed like they were deep fried with ingredients that weren't fresh. Very disappointed but would come back to try another dish.
Greta Szabo
Delicious breakfast, coffee is the best I've tried so far in the area. <br/>The place has a good vibe, and the waitresses are friendly. Definitely will be going back.
JupitusMercury
Visited yesterday for brunch with a friend - the place was packed, but we managed to get a table. The Parisian Eggs were delicious, and service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I was impressed by how quickly our meals came out, considering the place was buzzing. I'm not often in Armadale, but I'd certainly return!
Kate Dougherty
Have been to 8 days for brunch on numerous occasions and really enjoyed the casual atmosphere and pleasant service so I decided to check out its dinner menu for a change. Serving dinner from Wednesday to Friday, the menu offers a range of dishes including pastas, salads and mains. I ordered the grilled calamari with mediterranean salad and aioli. The dish was light and tasty making it perfect for a warm night. The portion size was also rather generous for the price.
This Butter Is On A Roll
8 Days has been one of my regular haunts since its inception. It has changed a considerably, mostly for the better. <br/><br/>I have always enjoyed their coffee, and most of their menu. Items such as the Smoked Salmon and Leek Croquette, Prawn Linguine, Smashed Avocado with Persian Fetta are brunch winners. And those brownies are smash hits!<br/><br/>The service in general, is quite good. It has been a very positive experience so far - most of the staff members are very friendly and prompt. The location, the spacious interiors and the comfortable seating add a great deal to the overall experience.
Avolette
One of my favorite breakfast places if I am able to get a seat! This bustling brunch institution is worth waiting in line for! Coffee is beautiful. The bubble and squeak croquette is a delicious menu addition in place of the traditional hash brown. I tried the Eggs Benedict and it definitely did not disappoint.
Phoebe Rothfield
I think everyone has caught on to the fact how good this café it is! it's not too fancy and doesn't have ridiculous food like the other Melbourne café jaunts. I always get the pancakes and they are absolutely delish. the family that run this joint are doing great things!
Bilbo
The staff are informative and friendly. The place has plenty of seats inside and outside and the music is at a good level so you can chat at a normal level.<br/><br/>The hot chocolate was nice but the size is small and the natural muesli with yoghurt was very tasty.
James
A local favourite. It's the place I go when I don't know where to go. Like most places on a Saturday morning it can be really rammed. I prefer the weekday experience. The staff are more attentive and the food seems to be served with a little more love.I always enjoy the steak sandwich or the lamb salad.
Skye Peck
Very busy and noisy but I guess that means they're popular, and I can see why! Very yummy food, I had the smoked salmon bagel which was full of flavour. The service was good considering how busy it was. Coffee was okay, but i will be returning for the food.
Heidi
Loved the seafood linguine! Prawns were cooked to perfection! Amazing! <br/>Great coffee too, the waiters are really nice too. Very quick and efficient.
Celeste Grossi
Food pretty good; however, ruined by terrible service! Today my family and I had lunch here. One of my younger brothers asked for the beef burger, being a fussy child all he wanted in his burger was the beef, bacon, onion and a poached egg (all of which were components that either came with the burger or the other option the steak sandwich). After waiting half an hour the waiter came over and told me they had "run out of onions" so they couldn't put it in the burger. The burger then came out and there was no poached egg. I called over the waiter who went and checked with the chef, only to come back and tell me "the chef was too busy and did not want to make the poached egg", he then walked away leaving me very shocked. I then looked at my other brothers order (he had ordered the steak sandwich), this had a poached egg and onion in it! Terrible terrible service... I will not be returning! All staff should either put a smile on their faces and be polite to their customers or choose another industry to work in.
Chelsey Ramos
Great coffee and mixed berry crumble muffins are to die for. Will make this our work local as they let us order over the phone. Coffees were ready when I got there. Even had a staff member help me out the door with my large order :)
Charlotte
Really nice breakfast. I had the .. hot cakes I think they are called and I really enjoyed them. Ok coffee, they really need to work on the service. From not getting service at all to being ask every 2 min if I'd like an other coffee or whatever ....
Shazza
Average. In a city flooded with good cafe's this was over priced and nothing special
Bea
Great food and customer service. Been here twice, big portion food and great presentation. came here last week, it was a busy afternoon, as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff. I ordered the corn fritters w/ smoked salmon, partner got something from the special. we both enjoyed the food very much, will go back for sure.
Ali Horan
15% surcharge? Really?. $75 breakfast for two! And got stung with a 15% surcharge because it was Anzac Day public holiday. Nice staff but won't be going there again.
Vaishnav SR
Decent food but the service can be poor depending on who serves you. The omelettes and coffee are good. Location is OK and lighting is decent. Its reasonably easy to find parking around the area. Chairs are comfortable and its easy to hold a conversation without having to shout. I've been here over a dozen times for both eat in and take away. Its particularly annoying that the waiter keeps forgetting to bring a plastic carry bag for the take away despite us asking. This has happened at least 3 times. A minor point but annoying nonetheless.
Tony Pergola Silcock
Best brunch spot in Melbourne, food is always prepared well and even if it's busy you will be served within matter of minutes! Great and friendly staff also, keep up the good work!
Alli Rooney
Fantastic cafe!. Just moved into the area. Went 2 weeks ago for the first time at 8 days. Loved it. Staff were attentive. Food was out of this world and huge servings! Coffee was amazing! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Loved it and will definitely be back. It's going to be one of our fav locals for sure.
Gastrology
8 Days delivers beautiful coffee and delicious food. We loved their fresh breakfast offering.
Moni | Thoughts Of A Moni
Located on the busy Armadale precinct, just down the road from all the bridal shops, 8 days had a steady stream of customers ranging from friends catching up like we were, to locals with their children or pet dogs.
Lianne Ho-Low
The croquettes were soft and pillowy in the middle, and filled with smoked salmon, and really crispy on the outside! Went so well with the chilli lime hollandaise. Gave a tangy kick to the dish. Perfect match!
Eat Australia
8 Days is one of those neighbourhood cafes which has become a firm favourite with the local crowd, by serving interesting dishes that rise above clichés with unique twists. Open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, they are also open for dinner on Wednesday to Friday nights for nibbles and sharing plates, as well as more substantial mains. On the weekend I would recommend popping along early to grab one of the bench seat tables inside and sharing the baked eggs and Spanish omelette.
Garlic Breath
You can get better anywhere. Terrible and overpriced
JC
Breakfast Salad With Mushrooms, Poached Eggs And Spicy Chorizo. Delicious. Served slightly warmed which made for heightened flavour. Eggs cooked perfectly.
Katelgreig
Tasty diverse menu with welcoming feel. Great menu with a wide range of options, can't wait to try more. Great, quick service. Lots of table options so you can find a small table as a couple or a large table for a group. Inside and outdoor options with windows that open the place up on nice days. Easy to get to on a high st corner, can tram it or find a park close by.
Happy Eater
Could easily come here 8 days a week. Went here this morning with a friend for brunch. Service was amazing and with a smile! Food and coffee's arrived promptly. I had the<br/>avocado & Persian fetta on sourdough with a basil & minted broadbean chilli dressing & balsamic reduction. OMG it was totally delicious and although I was not 100% sure I made the correct decision initially I was totally blown away once I tasted it. Really worth a try and my new favourite! My coffee was equally amazing and made to perfection. We stayed there for at least 2 hours and the staff were not pushy like other cafes where they want you to leave. Will be back! My new favourite place for brunch!
Jeanegg
One of my favourite cafes. Food is excellent and the service has been good every time I've been here!
Melbournemuncher
Had breaky there this morning with friends. Service was outstanding. Haven't had such a friendly waitress/ waiter in long time. Very attentive and just polite too. Wish we'd told the girl. Food was great. Recommend the fritters with salmon. Coffee was great too.
Christopher Ferreira
One of the best meals I've had in a very long time! <br/>To start off with the service was very friendly and it was refreshing to see the staff smiling. Both my partner and I had the Wagyu beef burger and we both came to the same conclusion that it was one of the best burgers that we have ever eaten. All the ingredients were fresh and the patty literally melted in our mouths, the fries were also nicely done. The lemon lime bitter was a average but the food more than made up for it.<br/>We will defiantly be coming back to have the Wagyu beef burger. <br/>Keep up the great work!
JaneWilliamson
My favourite place in Melbourne. I always go here when I visit Melbourne- great chai, food, staff and prices, plus I get to walk around Armadale laughing at the Mercedes-driving house wives trying to have a life. haha nah, it's a great neighbourhood and the competition for good coffee, chai and food is fierce but 8 Days never ceases to impress me.
Poison_ivey110
My most frequented cafe :). There's a reason this place is my 'go to' cafe. The coffee is great, the food is AWESOME and the staff are very attentive and nice (especially on weekends when there's a wait for a table). Could not praise this place enough, which is why I'm there at least once a month.
LasenMasonExprtiz
Sweet place ! Love it
Millie Smyth
Ordered the Smashed avocado with Persian fetta and it was delicious. Definitely the best one I have ever had. Service was great , food came within 5 minutes or so and the ice chocolate I ordered was also the best one I have ever had. Servings were huge but the toast was a bit to thick, but apart from that- 10/10!
Laura Watson
Our local favourite. We come here for brunch every weekend - sometimes twice! We bring all our out of town guests here and everyone loves it. Their menu is so extensive, atmosphere and staff are fantastic and it's a great space, especially in summer. Coffee is also great. I have no idea how anyone could leave a poor review of this place - if you don't like this cafe, you don't like anything.
Bossy
Nice atmosphere but meh food. Had a pleasant experience even though the food was average and very expensive. Normally I wouldn't return but my mum is an incredibly picky eater and she enjoyed herself. Will save this place for lunch dates with mum.
Laura
Fruit salad was nor fresh nor were the fruits seasonal. Some of the fruits were starting to turn brown and to top if off it was covered in some sort of extremely sweet and sugar like fruit syrup. Why bother if you can't do the basics right
Yumyums
Yum yums coffee. REALLY nice coffee here. Highly recommend.
Jane
Porridge tasted like quick oats from the microwave and salmon was bland, soggy, lacking rich colour that fresh salmon would normally have. Overpriced for what seems to be low quality produce.
Dana
We went there for desert. The sticky date pudding was very dry & over cooked masked by cream , icecream and caramel sauce .Very disappointing for a desert at the topend of pricing
Coffeeshot
Coffeeshot. Coffee great, food delivered so quickly at breakfast time I couldn't believe it! We were a table of four ordered full breakfast and were out the door in under 30min.<br/>Full points for attention to detail and customer service.
Steve
I like this place except that IMHO , the prices are too high for what is on the plate ...
Carly
Friendly staff, lovely food, great coffee, nice atmosphere. <br/>I had the muesli with fruit and yoghurt. <br/>Was pretty busy but staff still had time to tell me about the menu. Highly recommend.

Cheescake friday. The toblerone and tiramisu cheescakes are to die for and are made fresh daily.<br/>latte and chai are always smooth to drink, they never disappoint.<br/>the linguini, meatballs, pancakes and the wagyu beef burger (my first beef burger has turned me into a burger lover) are all well portioned and delicious to eat.<br/><br/>service is great and the owner friendly. perfect for sitting outside on a summers day.

Great mid-week!. I've always walked past on weekends when the place is packed and you can't get a seat but today was great; not overly busy at midday and you could get a seat easily on a Thursday.<br/>I had a terrific soy latte that was creamy and not bitter. It was perfect.<br/><br/>The chicken salad with nashi pear, pomegranate, witlof, rocket, walnuts, avocado and lettuce was wonderful! I swapped the goats cheese for feta which was delicious and I was happy they could make the change. The serve was enormous for $21.<br/><br/>Great service and a beautiful setting outside means I'll be back again. I might even try on the busy weekend to try breakfast as the menu looked great. Loved it!

Delicious food - try the salmon and leek croquettes or the duck risotto. Service, crowd and area were great too.

Really good food and awesome breakfast! I've brought so many people to 8 days as it's somewhere I know we're guaranteed great food and coffee. One of the best cafés I've been too!

I seriously just had the best breakfast in Melbourne at 8 Days.. Salmon and leek croquettes with poached egg and line hollandaise.. Genius, I'll be back next week.

That was probably one of the best breakfasts I've had since moving to Melbourne.

Lovely cafe with great location. Fantastic service and beautiful hot cake. Smashed avo is my favorite dish. Awesome experience!

Terrible is only word in term of service and food. Came here a couple of time and both times were let down. Both time had to waved a waitress down for service to order. Ordered baked eggs and both times were over cooked, the eggs tasted rubbery. Don't bother.
