I went there plenty of time but never disappoint food always change the special so will try all every dish in da menu.. Love
Well not only do they serve the BEST Chilli scramble eggs I've ever had... and then the chicken sub is out of this world!!.. yum..yum.. yummy!!!! It's the whole package really! Great food, excellent fit out, and even better staff!!!
Vibe and food were both senasational! Can highly recommend the smoothies on the menu as well
Who needs smashed avo when you can have smashing pumpkin along with a Mr Moby smoothie! Absolutely delishes food and attentive staff. Big thumbs up!
Great location, delicious food (breakfast salad rocks) and quite possibly the best coffee I've had in Melbourne. Well done Teddy and team, thanks for always looking after us and welcoming Sabrina
Best breakfast and service and only over the road from Master's Persian Carpets great :)
The best eggs benedict I've had! Must try and strongly recommended!
Today we had a lovely lunch at Moby with a bunch of girls upstairs. It was absolutely yummy. The service was fantastic and Christina (The owner) provided candles on a muffin for our friends birthday. Thanks Moby. xx
Amazing coffee!!!!!! Loved the upstairs area, staff were lovely as well

Awesome cafe, great food and fantastic happy staff xx
Fabulous menu all round & loved the Jasmine Pearl tea 💯
Probably one of our favourite coffee shops, food is exceptional 👌🏼
I went there on a weekend. The place is nice with an outdoor, indoor and rooftop sitting area (bigger than I expected). The place is always busy and lives up to its reputation. The burger was massive with an amazing quantity of chips. We ordered the crispy chicken burger and cauliflower and halloumi fritters the food was as good as it looked. It’s also cheap you’re looking at something between $50-$60 for two people. I highly recommend the place.
Very popular and busy cafe! The menu is interesting with lots of different dishes that vary from the standard breakfast staples. All big servings!
The pancakes and coffee were amazing! Not too sweet and the pancakes were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Will definitely be coming back here.

Located on the corner of High Street Armadale, Moby 3143 is a multi-level cafe that boasts everything the local Melbourne crowd could ask for – from refreshingly delicious salads and robust hearty plates, to velvety smooth lattes and cheeky lavish treats. Even when it comes to the little ones, the team at Moby 3143 really do go out of there way to make sure that even their little customers are happy too.
Food was incredible. Hot cakes, one of the best around. Fairly busy place, but worth the visit. Coffee was also excellent. Would definitely return.
Moby is three levels of café goodness with great food and gorgeous plants. With interesting dishes like duck and waffles, breakfast salads and pimped up banana bread, it’s a no brainer that your visit will be a good time. Moby - beverages. Beverages on point. Moby - duck and waffles. Move over chicken and waffles, duck and waffles are in town. I’ve seen this combo pop up on a few brunch menus lately and it’s a great pair. The duck was tender with crispy skin, the juniper maple had a slight floral flavour, the apple was sliced paper thin and provided acidity, while the herb and cheese waffle had structure and was fluffy in the middle. A good balance of sweet and savoury elements made this dish tops.
I haven't eaten at Moby but I can get behind their coffee. The space is convenient when catching a train and is one of the most sleek and contemporary cafes in the area. Service is fast and friendly.
Love this place. The oat porridge is to die for and their coffee comes in mugs so big you can swim in them! My husband loves the scrambled eggs. Love the venue, it’s big and bright. Lots of puppets outside. The staff are gorgeous and friendly. What more do you want??
Yes to everything.
The vibe is great, the menu is slightly different to the norm and both the beans and the Banana bread were YUM!!
Coffee is also fantastic, with friendly, fast service.
Only criticism is the portion of the banana bread could be bigger because it was that good.
The food here tasted great and fresh especially the poke bowl. Coffee also decent and service is top notch. There are some seating on the second floor and also a bit more on the rooftop.
This is one of my all time favourite brunch spots! The menu is super varied and you can get anything from a really simple (but yummy) avo smash, to a salmon poke bowl. The staff are friendly, the spaces are all gorgeous (including the rooftop and outdoor tables) and the food never disappoints. They recently had a delicious ramen on special that i'm hoping they bring back as it was delicious!

The decor and vibes at Moby are so cool! I love the interior and atmosphere!
I tried the Apple Crumble porridge, which had such a unique look! Loved the taste too of course.
The cold brew coffee was delicious!
Their tart is so delicious!! Lamb salad is delicious too! I love their decor and the service is good...will come back with friends to try more food!!
Came here with friends. Had the following
1. Blueberry Pancakes. Generous portions, LOTS of blueberries. Fairly decent. (4/5)
2. Double Ginger Beer. A less-sweet version of Bundaberg GB. Came with a glass with ice (3.5/5)
My friends had Duck Waffles that looked awesome.
Very friendly, non-pressured service (4.5/5)
A gorgeous spot located on High Street. Loved sitting on the second level, away from the hustle and bustle downstairs.
I ordered their smashed avo, eggs benny and chicken katsu sandwich. My fave was definitely the eggs benny! Their hollandaise was so good.
As for drinks, their Mr. Moby (banana, cacao, crunchy peanut butter, honey & almond milk) is a great smoothie option - always one of my fave combos!
Service was great too, they were friendly and attentive.
Lovely place for brunch or breakfast with seating options inside and outside. Friendly staff and good service. we ordered the Smashed Avo and it was absolutely delicious as was the mimosa. Looking forward to returning and trying more options from their menu.
Really cool multi-level cafe on High St. Had the eggs benedict which was delicious. Coffee, service and atmosphere all very good too. I look forward to returning soon.
Moby is a beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy the sun with a coffee and/or breakfast. It is quite a busy place but staff are very attentive and the food is worth the wait. Eggs Benedict from moby is delicious !!
It’s a little silly how good the chilli scrambled is at Moby. I’ve done the Melbourne rounds of chilli scrambles in the past and Moby shines on top alongside Sloan Ranger Cafe. I haven’t tried much else on their menu, however I imagine the quality is not dissimilar.
Yummy brunch at Moby on a busy Saturday. We were seated almost right away upstairs. Loved the fritters weekend special - great flavour combo. My partner was a little disappointed by the duck and waffle dish as he found it to be a bit too sweet. Aside from that, good coffee and nice vibes.
I absolutely looooove Moby's. They seriously have the best eggs benny ever! I've been there about 4/5 times already and they've always been great. Food comes out quiet quick and yum each time. Try to go on a time/day that isn't so busy so the service will be better!
Headed straight to the rooftop of this quite large cafe, found a seat in the glorious Melbourne sunshine ☀️
Lovely / well informed female waitstaff gave us a run down on the menu favorites 😁. Coffee ☕️ and tea ordered we pursued the menu. Prawn toast and Duck and waffles ordered 🌟 Both dishes were super tasty 😋 and I will return to share again with my other brunch buddies. 👍
Went to moby earlier this week absolutely loved it food was Devine, I had the avocado for the 3rd time and couldn’t be better and to top it off I had the best ginger and lemon tea. Staff are so friendly and lovely always up for a good chat!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE !!! 10000/10 would recommend
Brunch on Saturday morning on the roof, sunny and gorgeous, lovely service with a smile, eggs Benedict was next level sprinkled with crumbed toasted brioche and apple slices, absolutely stunning. Highly recommend and will be back.
Somehow managed to get a table for 4 on a Saturday morning and were seated right next to the food pass (that’s ok as it gave us a chance to eye off the goods!).
Coffee was nice even though it took ages to arrive..I understand..they were hectic busy.
I had the mushroom and potato omelette..yum bloody yum!A really different and creative way to jazz up a boring old omelette. Tastes were really well balanced and the potato chips on top were delish.Serving was massive so couldn’t possibly finish.
My friends meals all looked well presented and from reports were tasty too!
Fit out in here is really nice and welcoming except for the bottleneck of the cash register right at the door..ppl queuing here there and everywhere waiting to pay and order coffees.
Overall a good experience and would Definietly come back if in the area.

This is my new fave breakfast place, all I can say
is prawn toast egg Benedict!!!! I can’t stop eating it, had to have a mimosa to top it off. Hey, it’s midday somewhere in the World!
Got the cheeseburger. It was delicious! Filling and greasy and tasty enough to curb your cravings. The patty was juicy, the cheese was superb, the tomato relish was scrumptious. The chips were shaved, fried and seasoned in house. They were superb. Would love to be back again.
4 stars because price could be cheaper ($23).
The mango kale smoothie: for a green juice it was good, but turns out I don't like green juices ($11).
Been to this cafe many times this year and last. Consistently amazing food and service. Everything tastes fresh and interesting. Highly recommend chilli scrambled eggs and the soy latte.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. It is usually pretty busy but today is my lucky day. The staff was polite and friendly, I was promptly seated. The service was a tad slow but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind. The latte took a while to come out. They were busy and if you are not in a rush, who cares. The latte was good. The coffee was strong and milk was froth with the right body and creaminess.
I ordered the Californian Super Salad with salmon. Even for a carnivore like myself, it was deeeelicious. Me ordering a salad.. Never say I didn't try something new. The flavour was great; there was also a bit of chilli and crunch to the salad which really brought it home for me. Love it.
The ambience was nice, located in a inner city-burb, sitting outside on a sunny day. Absolutely perfect. The interior looked great as well. Well worth another visit.
I’ve sauntered past Moby many times and there has always been a buzz about it. Lunch was terrific. I loved the generous bowl of California Superfood Salad, delicious. My buds avo and egg was also a winner. Cracker coffee and crew.
Verdict: What really makes this place for me is the rooftop on a breezy, sunny day. Up here away from the street, time seems to slow, making it the perfect spot for our long and lazy Sunday brunches after tennis at Malvern tennis centre. The food is also pretty darn good. My personal favourite combines fall-apart confit salmon with the textural crunch of a red rice cake and potato croquette, melded together with the balanced pairing of indulgent charcoal aioli and tart beetroot labne. As the judges would say on Masterchef – “really clever cooking”. For those after the more familiar crowd pleasing flavours, you can’t really go past the chilli scrambled eggs – sriracha. bacon. parmesan – need I say more?
Such a lovely little cafe in a great location. It's an open style cafe with the outdoor seating that I love. It's really well styled and quirky. Good service from the staff which are very accomodating. A great menu almost hard to pick from with great coffee. ticks all the boxes for a good brunch spot.
Came in this morning and were quickly attended to with menus. I thought the menu was very flexible and came with a variety of flavours on offer - a fair bit of Asian-inspired flavours which I think are a big hit at the moment. It looks as though it’s inspired by the biggest food trends, but put their own spin on many of the flavours which made it a bigger stand out than their competitors.
For coffees, we had a short Mac and a double espresso - both beautiful, flavoursome coffees, and came with good timing given there were quite a few tables seated on the first floor (didn’t know there were other levels until reading reviews after!).
For brunch, we ordered the calamari salad (special), chicken bao and hand cut chips. Food was certainly worth its price! I was initially sceptical about the bao as it’s usually two small ones; this one was huge and abundant in flavour. The calamari salad was light and fresh, especially with the picked Asian herbs, which added another dimension to the salad. Hand cut chips were the real winner here for me though - so crispy, but wonderfully soft and fluffy in the middle. Charcoal aioli that was lovely and tart to contrast the added spices that were added to the chips.
I was initially hesitant to try Moby because it was always busy and had been told it was overrated, but without fail was worth the visit. We will certainly return, thanks guys!
4.5/5
Really friendly staff and great ambiance. The foods and drinks are also great! I would come back again. it's a nice place if you want to hang out with friends for brunch :)
Enjoyed the visit. Great service, friendly and fast. Didn’t have to wait long to be seated or for our orders. Food was great. Ordered the Piña Colada Chia, Fried Chicken Bao and Crab Omelette. The Chia was amazing, had a lot of textual elements and was surprisingly filling. Loved the grilled pineapple and freeze dried lychee. The tart passionfruit gel balanced the sweetness of the pineapple. The crab omelette was okay but you had to dig to find the crab. Fried chicken boa was generous. Good slaw and sauce. Would come back here again.
We came here Saturday morning for brunch on a sunny day and were seated in the lovely area in front of the cafe. Coffee and food (pulled meat and salad) and were both very good. I highly recommend this place. Would have given a 4.5.
Really nice food, scrambled eggs, avo on toast, eggs Benedict, chicken baguette and chicken/fish wrap are my favorites, they make a really good hot chocolate as well, sometimes a long wait for coffee and food if you’re at a table
Loved the coffee, and the atmosphere seemed great. Staff were friendly, shame about the wait for brunch.
We ended up going somewhere else because it was packed. Come early and be prepared.
Tried this place after seeing how busy it gets and glad to say was not disappointed. Coffee was smooth breakfast amazing and staff friendly.
Came here for brunch for the first time and was a bit apprehensive because the place was packed and I didn't want to be waiting around for a table but we were surprised to be greeted and seated by the window immediately. Service was the most friendly I have had in a long time, I was struggling to decide what to eat and a lovely female staff member must have read my mind when she caught me eye-ing off some dishes that were on their way out, she was nice enough to describe them to me without me even asking. I ordered the pina colada chia bowl that she recommended. I don't normally do 'sweet' for brunch but it was incredible and a decent portion size so it was really filling and I can't wait to come back and have it again. My mum ordered the crab omelette which looked amazing. Coffee was great, love that the place is licensed as well. Definitely my new favourite local!
Deliciously different! I'm always looking for a brunch place that sets itself apart from others. I was so pleasantly surprised with Moby, it's kid friendly, the staff are lovely and best of all it was open over the Xmas break. The food was timely and had a different take on modern Australia / Asian fusion. They even put a spin on an eggs benedict classic, which I never thought I'd order. Yumbo's! Totally go here.
The food at this cafe was amazing however the service let it down. We waited patiently to be approached once we sat down but no one came near us. Eventually we flagged a young boy down who gave us water glasses but no water...when we eventually got the attention of another waiter, we were given water and menus. Again, no one came near us for our order so we had to flag someone else down again...The bircher was the perfect sweetness and consistency. Whilst there wasn't much actual bircher in the bowl, the poached pear ensured the dish was filling.
YUM! Best coffee I’ve had in a long time, quick service. Great food. Loved it!!! Probably the best in the Armadale/Malvern area. Can get extremely busy on weekends.

Had a fantastic brunch here today!
We shared two of their savoury dishes (crab meat omelette and the smashed avo).
- The omelette was delicious. Surprisingly light and not too big (often cafes serve up massive heavy portions but this was just perfect). The subtle crab flavour was lovely and mild and the bean shoots, herbs and shallots added some lovely Asian flavours.
- The smashed avo was one of the best I’ve had. The grilled baguette was the perfect bread base and the chilli oil & feta took it to that next level.
Our almond lattes were delicious and the waitresses/waiters were absolutely gorgeous. I’ll definitely be popping back in to try more things on the menu!
Went to Moby on cup day. The place was super busy, as per usual, but food and service was prompt. We ordered the eggs benedict and the poké bowl. The food was delicious but the coffee was a bit of a miss. The staff was lovely and I would recommend Moby because of the outstanding food we received today!
Been here more than a handful of times and I always leave more than satisfied! Friendly staff, great fit out, and an extensive but no fuss menu with great flavour pairings. Try and go on a weekday, because this is a busy brunch hangout on the weekends!
My favourite dishes:
Smashed Avo w/ chilli oil
Harissa Beans
Chilli Scramble
Superfood Salad w/ marinated beef
Merci to all the hotties @ Moby xoxo
Been twice in 1 week. What a great establishment. I used to visit this when this was Woodstock and it was an average place. The new owners have a great friendly attitude and are attentive, well staffed, clean and really want to go the extra mile to please. As I am unable to eat dairy they were very accommodating and tried their hardest. The food was delicious and plan to go back next week. Please try if your in the area.

Had a great breakfast here. Sat outside but the heaters made it comfortable. Great coffee, great food and great atmosphere! It's no wonder it's always buzzy there!
Came here this morning for breakfast with a friend. We came at 9:30 and already the inside tables were full! Luckily it was a mild morning and there was a lovely outdoor heater so this was no problem! The staff are friendly and the cafe and decor are fresh and modern. I ordered the smashed Avocado and, once again cementing my unlikelihood of ever owning a home, also got some roasted tomatoes. It was delicious though! My friend got the Bircher Muesli and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Went to Moby a little while ago after a hard class at the gym and got the charred green salad, was the best brekky to have post workout delish without the guilt!
5/5 The food was outstanding even though it was delivered.
The chilli scramble had the perfect amount of seasoning and thin slices of bacon on a large piece of toast. At first it looked very small but it was a fair amount of food for a medium appetite.
The omelette with goats cheese, mushrooms and potato skins WAS AMAZING. Those potato skins I wanted a whole bowl of them. Simply delish.
If you're local in the area and can't be bothered bracing for the cold get it delivered with UberEATS. So good.
Great little cafe my friend told me about. Located in Armadale. The menu is interesting and the food is fresh and tasty. All the food is presented beautifully with portions well sized. Our coffees were lukewarm and when we told staff this they didn't seem to care. The 3.5 rating is due to coffee , otherwise it would be a 4.5.
Casual cafe with good vibes and friendly staff. I ordered the sweet and savory waffles that was served with pork, dukkah avo and a poached egg drizzled with maple. YUM!
I came here on a Wednesday at 8.40am and there were tables free inside out of the cold! I walked upstairs to see if there were better options and was pleased to see Moby has maintained the rooftop area of the previous business that used to occupy the same space. Because it's Wednesday, I had the black forrest muffin and a flat white - both great. The muffins are huge though, so if you're not sharing with a friend, I'd suggest cutting it in half first and taking away the rest (because they're so good!)
Be warned - Moby is properly packed of a weekend, so best to come early to beat the rush. Thanks for a yum brekkie spot guys! TS.
A friend recently moved to the area so went for
Coffee but ate today for the first time and I have to say we were both really Impressed.
Staff were excellent - friendly and helpful as we had a Pram with us. I had the eggs bene - friend had a Japanese special brekkie. Both presented
Really well and tasted better. I'll be back
Lovely bright cafe, busy for a Tuesday morning. We started with the coffee, and it is very good, then we had the chilli scramble - YUM and the ricotta pancakes - YUM, but very sweet. All of the food coming out of the kitchen looked really great, and we did have trouble deciding what to order. Prices are good. The service was very average, we would have ordered another coffee if asked, but we weren't. There was no engagement from the staff to any of the diners, unless they knew them, so that was the let down.
WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
· Banana Cream Pie – ricotta hotcake, banana cream, strawberries, caramel, popcorn ($21.00)
· Chia Pudding – white chia in tropical juice, coconut cream, banana, kiwi, crumble ($17.50)
· Steamed Prawn Bun – steamed rice flour bun, crispy prawns, kimchi, spicy mayo, avocado mousse ($23.00)
· Mushroom Omelette – winter mushrooms, house made potato skins, feta, fresh herbs ($21.00)
My sister had the chills scrambled eggs and I had the chicken sandwich special. Both delicious!! Great service, beautiful fit out, definitely will be back.
Food very good, Ive been several times and it is consistently good. Food is over-seasoned and way too salty would be my main and only complaint. Pricing is above average so not particularly pleased with that given the huge choice in Armadale. Young waiters need to focus more on the outside tables and less on who is attractive or gossiping. Service friendly, mainly. Many people who sit outside have dogs and cannot come in to tell you we have already sat down!! this is been an issue several times and I've had to stand in the doorway to get the attention of a waiter when they weren't even busy.
Great having the heaters outside!
coffee is reasonably good.
Matcha latte is very weak hardly any matcha but still pretty good.
I really enjoyed the avocado dish and great coffee as well- so good I had two coffees! Busy busy place would suggest to get there early for a table! Service was really friends as well!
Pretty venue with nice coffee. The benedict breakfast was great and very generous. I couldn't help but feel a little neglected. Service was slow and uninteresting. Had to ask if I could sit, ask to order my coffee, ask to get a menu. All the while they happily chatted with friends/ staff that popped in.
Came to Armadale over the Easter long weekend and decided to have brunch. Stumbled across here and the portions of food, flavour of food and service were 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Super happy with this! Super happy 🤗
Great fit out, definitely an awesome place for brunch, lots of fresh air coming in. Haven't been to the rooftop yet, but surely it is everyone's favourite. Great menu, food and service is great, lots of fresh salad options too. We'll be regular if we live local in the area for sure.
For some reason, felt like I was having brunch by the beach. Whats special on the menu? Just the typical pancakes, chilli eggs and avocado on toast, thats not until I chanced upon the Salmon Poké bowl. Bowlful of goodness, black rice, chilli broccoli cauliflower , some other greens, sesame crusted salmon and the mayo on the side that seemed to lack character. for me the hero of the dish was the salmon which i thought was well cooked, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. each mouthful was umami packed which I wished i could have more. For $20, for its size, fair value? for the work to make this dish. hellya!
Came here on Sunday morning. Sat outside in the beautiful sunshine. So many seating options, what a great location they have. Coffee was great and the Mr Moby smoothie was delicious - a mix of banana, peanut butter and chocolate! Yum! To top it off, the staff gave my dog a biscuit treat. Great customer service.
Wasn't overly hungry but popped in for a bite to eat with my mother. The chicken roll was superb and Mrs. Moby smoothie was both healthy and delicious -- all the staff were great! Especially one waiter who was a perfect example to all wait staff out there!
Lovely new addition to Armadale brunch scene. Spacious and airy venue with 3 levels including a rooftop courtyard. It was a little bit noisy at times but still manageable. I ordered the sesame prawn toast special which came with sirachia hollandaise, poached eggs, avocado and prawn crackers. A very rich dish but delicious. The omelette and daily tart were also well received. The service was also very friendly and efficient.
Love this place. The food is amazing. I had the Californian Salad which was full of fresh ingredients and had a tasty dressing. My husband had the eggs benny and could not speak more highly of the dish.
Well done and welcome to the neighbourhood!
Saturday 1pm. Coffees excellent. Service fast and friendly. Chilli omelette and trout delicious and fresh. Serving sizes could be larger particularly fritters. Overall happy experience will return.
I had lunch with my friend today
Hot chocolate, nice
my tempura prawns , delicious
hand cut chips, awesome
my friend had the omelette and sides, he said nice
so all in all, a great place for lunch and will be back sometime soon
I went to Moby on Sunday. Great service - got our coffees right away and food came out shortly after. I had the chilli scrambled eggs which was delicious and a generous portion size. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
We love the vibes here! The coffee is so delicious and the food is one of a kind! We have tried the breakfast salad and the superfood salad which are both to die for! A very filling meal, you won't leave MOBY disappointed.
What a beautiful setting for such a delicious meal! Honestly the best breakfast I've had in Melbourne in ages!
The service was lovely, great coffee, we had the Bircher and smashing pumpkins which were both incredible! Can't wait to go back and sit out on the gorgeous roof top!

A great place to catch up with friends for a casual brunch. A small but seasonal menu with a modern Australian theme. I had the citrus cured ocean trout with potato and leek croquettes; loved the light freshness of the meal and the quality of ingredients.
Came here on a sunday and were able to sit upstairs outside with no wait (it was freezing). Service was good and the ocean trout meal was amazing. Would definitely return to get the exact same thing.
Came here on a Sunday morning and we're seated straight away on the rooftop to avoid the 35min wait! (Overcast and drizzly day).
Waitress was really attentive and the food came out SO quick to our surprise on a busy Sunday.
There were three of us and we ordered the burger, ocean trout and eggs benedict.
Burger was delicious but on the smaller side, fried onion rings provided some good texture
Ocean trout was really yummy
Eggs Benedict was so yum and potato hash delish.
Will return!
Great great food compared to other newly opened cafes. Smashing pumpkins was one of the best I've ever had. Fried chicken sub was satisfying, although it was hard to hold it because of the overly soft bread roll. Coffees were normal. If you want somewhere to take nice photos without compromising food quality, bookmark the name 'MOBY'.
I came here with my Mum and Nannie on a weekday and was surprised at how busy it was! The coffee was good. The staff were really friendly We all really enjoyed our meals. There was a bit of a mix up on my meal and I got the superfood salad with calamari and it was super tasty!
Awesome experience. Great food, friendly team, good vibe. Loved every bit. Highly recommend. Head Chef Arky is a great host.
Staff are so attentive and friendly, make you feel welcomed. Food was 10/10. Presentation and taste wise. Would definitely come here regularly!
Fantastic ambience and friendly staff, it was very busy when we went so this place is very popular.
The Lamb souvlaki is okay but chilli scrambled egg is fantastic, tried their iced latte which is not bad.
Tasty food, great coffee, pretty venue. Maybe a tad expensive, but a definitely a delicious brunch.
