I would like to congratulate the entire staff for their excellent service. The Cafe has excellent service and a awe- inspiring ambience. I loved the coffee and delicious food. I would certainly recommend this lovely Cafe to everyone.

My parents love the coffee here so we decided to give the food a go. The house made gozleme is incredible and it was nice to actually see it being made in front of you. All 5 of us loved the meals and are keen to try some more dishes. Staff are friendly and efficient. Planning on bringing my family here next week.
Amazing food and coffee! Trying to be healthy, I ordered the chicken salad, which I wasn’t too excited about honestly. But wow! The chicken was absolutely delicious, marinated really well and cooked perfectly, and the salad itself was light but so so tasty. I would get this any day, diet or not. The coffee was also excellent as was my partners souvlaki. Nothing but good things to say.
The food is great and up there with the best for the area, but the artwork makes it even better; with beautiful, bright pieces throughout. I had the cauliflower fritters which were delicious but I would add some avo next time!

Been here a few times now, family friendly cafe with great customer service. Nick is always bringing your mood up with a smile, thank you. They provide an amazing breakfast, you must try the Turkish Gözleme made fresh in front of your eyes while you wait, with either a vegetarian or meat option, also the Cigar rolls/börek are pretty good as well. They’re always improving coffee since they opened and have installed USB ports by the tables which is very convenient. Will go back.
Had breakfast here a few weeks back & the were advertising dinner so came tonight with my partner.. Had the Arancini for Starter.. for mains had the Twin Eye Fillet & partner had Chicken Fettucini.. Really enjoyed all the food & for dinner for 2 with starter under $65 was really pleased.. will be back again soon

This is clearly a family run place that care about delivering high quality and tasty food. We’ve been here a few times sampling their menus from traditional breakfast to some delicious Turkish specials.

We loved it here. The friendly staff and the warming fireplace made it the perfect cafe for a rainy Saturday morning. Further, coffee and food were delicious. We had the smashed pea Benedict and the warm Nutella gozleme. Yumm!
My girlfriend and I went there on a Friday afternoon and shared the beef burger, a banana milkshake and a cup of coffee. Everything was perfect and our experience was further complimented by the great and friendly staff. Definitely will be back
Tried out this cafe as what a new little gem it is. Relatively new owners and they are so friendly. The place is so spacious, plenty of room for prams, and nick is very accomodating with children. He made a conscious effort to make sure they were well fed. Me and my girlfriends have never had a gorzleme before but a lovely Turkish lady was making them fresh by the front window so we thought we would try one. We got the lamb mince and it was SO delicious. One friend got the pasta special with prawns, she loved it. Great flavour and generous portion. Another friend opted for chilli scrambled and again, portion size was great. I got the open lamb souvlaki and the lamb was really tasty.
My favourite still the gozleme. Will definitely be back for another.
Polite prompt service. Good attention to detail like when your water needs to be topped up. We had a good breakfast. I had smashed minted pea, potato Rosti , eggs, spinach and hollandaise dish which was good. Place seems clean and food was quick and v good.
A fabulous cafe on high street where you will feel at home the moment you walk through the doors. The staff are so lovely, happy and friendly. I love the coffee and even tried the Turkish coffee which I miss judged. It was strong and im glad it comes with a little sweet treat, i needed the sugar! I ordered the chesse & spinach golzeme. It was delicious and great to see it made right in front of me. I highly recommend this cafe

We came here on the weekend the other week and had a wonderful time at this family owned café. The owner was extremely lovely and made sure we were well looked after. We ordered the smashed peas, the cauliflower and corn fritters as well as their house made Gozleme which they make at the window. The gozleme was absolutely delicious , we opted for the spinach and cheese flavour and could not stop eating it, the cheese stayed melted and stringy – just how I like it.
The cauliflower and corn fritters were quite a good rendition, you can really taste the cauliflower which I was happy about as most fritters usually lose the flavour of the main ingredient. This dish was paired with a home made yoghurt sauce and a fresh salsa.
Our favourite dish was probably the smashed peas, the flavour was so fresh it was like eating fresh peas , topped on a hash with hollandaise and mushrooms – this dish is something that I can see myself coming back for over and over. I also added sujuk to this dish and can say the portion of the sujuk was quite generous too

The most amazing Breakfast, we had the turkish breakfast, smashed avo and also the pancakes. They were all so delicious. We were greeted by such friendly owners and staff and shown our seats. The place is very modern and homey and the coffee is absolutely to die for. We had such a good time enjoying our food and coffee. The prices are very reasonable and will be back time and time again. Thank you Nick and staff for a very pleasurable breakfast.

Despite having live in Prahran previously, Matilda Cafe on High Street in Armadale was unbeknown to me until now. I went in this morning around 9.30am and was quickly greeted at the door. The staff were extremely inviting and friendly and led me to my table near the back under the sunroof close to the fireplace. I perused the menu whilst my long back was being made, several items caught my eye but I was instantly sold on the Spanish Chilli Eggs. I decided to add the Grilled Tomatoes and Mushrooms to the dish too from the sides and swapped the toast to try their gluten free bread.
My coffee was excellent - great, robust flavour which I sipped away whilst admiring the Lunch Menu and the decorations of the cafe. The owner Nick was extremely gracious and often came over to make sure that I was ok, was happy to help answer questions about the menu and made me feel personally comfortable. My meal came shortly after and I was actually taken aback at how pretty it looked on the plate - complete with edible flowers! It was also an extremely generous portion and I was absolutely stuffed by the end of it. It definitely didn't need the sides as the eggs/toast/spicy beef sujuk were plenty! I tucked away and thoroughly enjoyed the balance of chilli spice in the egg scramble. The gluten fee toast was pretty good but I think it could have been slightly more toasted. The eggs too needed a touch more seasoning but otherwise were great. The mushrooms/tomatoes were delicious too and went perfectly with the rest of the dish.
I'll definitely be back to try some of the lunch menu - especially the salmon! I'd recommend a visit into Matilda Cafe if you are taking a stroll down High Street. The menu has a great array of sweet and savoury dishes with Mediterranean/Middle Eastern influence - which jazzes up your regular eggs on toast!
This place has friendly staff and it wasn't until half way through my salmon that I realised I wanted to review it so I apologise for the half eaten photo but I can assure you it was nice. The ambience was a little sterile and they probably need to play some music but I couldn't really fault the food or the service. Will definitely be back :)

One of my favourite cafe's in Armadale, the staff are so friendly and the food is exceptional. Especially enjoy the Brushetta, the tomatoes have so much taste and the freshly made Lamb Gozleme is one of my favourites.
The coffee was one of the best i have ever had, it was that good that i had 2 in a row. Really well priced the staff are friendly im looking forward to going back amd trying more of their delicious food

Had a fantastic breakfast this morning with a friend. The waitress, Elle, had just the right amount of sass and attitude to make it so so enjoyable
Not only did Elle give as good as she got, she did it in such a fun way. The food was great and a huge serving was presented at the table. It was such a shame I couldn't even finish it.
All in all a totally enjoyable experience and I promise I will be back
Super-sweet family-owned (seemingly, all the staff are chilled and happily busy) cafe with solid coffee and food in the best Mediterranean style. Fresh, clean, genuine.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Coffee was fantastic. Everyone loved their meals. There were plenty of options for different tastes. The atmosphere of the place was relaxed and comfortable. We will be going back regularly.
