Review The Organic Circle - Armadale

Sohayla Sumner
Before coming here I hadn't really considered vegan food before, and all my hot drinks were with cows milk. Usually I am a picky eater, but coming here has helped open my tastebuds to new kinds of foods and I'm yet to regret it. Perfect for a lunch with friends or even a coffee to go. Much better than a cheap coffee from maccas and buying from here I know I'm supporting a local business. The atmosphere is perfect and the vibe of the store is so homelike and comfortable.

Great food, great service and beautiful surroundings.

I love spending time at The Organic Circle. They stock the AMAZING VDeo Vegan Deodorant as well as many other natural & organic products. Great atmosphere, a wonderful variety of Vegan sweet and savoury yumminess, awesome Chai Lattes, great service and lovely staff.. What more could you want? 10 out of 10.

Decided to try The Organic Circle for the first time today and it was fantastic. I ordered a chai latte and the mushrooms on toast with a poached egg, both were really yummy. Customer service from staff was great. Will be back in the future ☺️ Thank you!

Great Vegan Cheese toasted sandwiches. Haven't been for a while and went today with my wife. Great friendly service and tasty food. Good range of alternative products in the store.

Best cafe experience in years. Organic, GF, vegan, fresh, tasty food. Well priced, and to top it all off, there is local art, organic food supplies, and more for sale and on display. Best salted caramel slice ever. We ❤️ the atmosphere too. Five stars!

I absolutely love The Organic Circle and go here frequently. The coffee and smoothies are excellent and there are milk options for those who don't want cows milk. Portion sizes are generous and the salads are divine. For $6, you can get an extremely generous "small" salad, after which you probably won't need a whole evening meal! There are options for meat lovers, vegans and vegetarians. In-store, there is produce to buy, all of which is organic and also kombucha varieties in bottles. They also sell vegan make-up at reasonable prices as well as skincare products. They do hold special evening events and afternoon events at the weekends, where you can pre book your table. There is plenty of parking nearby as well. The Organic Circle is well worth visiting and a hidden gem in Armadale.

Beautiful surprising hippie oasis.
We had a stop here for healthy burgers and amazing brownie and I think home made almond milk cappuccino. Lovely atmosphere, great food. Such a great alternative to suburban fast food

WONDERFUL food - if you're into raw and healthy. Great selection of healthy and raw foods from across a few cuisines. Everything I've sampled has been awesome.
Can't wait to go there again.
They also sell health foods and organic produce.

Coffee was ok. Came here to study a little and drink coffee. Not my kind of place as its a bit hippy but it's just not my thing is all and felt like I was being looked at like a foreigner by anyone who entered and seemed local. Nice friendly place in nice location but just not my cup of tea. Didn't try food here as it didn't look appetizing to me.

A sweet pit stop as we were heading inland, a hidden gem in the outer burbs, healthy options and helpful staff. The burger was delicious and the veggies tasted super fresh.

What a little gem, nestled in heritage pioneer village. Armadale is lucky to have a place like this for those who are passionate about what they eat and how it's produced. Bulletproof coffee, turmeric latte, beetroot latte, red latte the list goes on. They have vegetarian, vegan, paleo, gluten free and carnivorous options and not just one or two. This place is a blessing too anyone with any kind of dietary requirement. Well done guys.

Heaven on earth. Wonderful breakfasts, lunches, coffee and treats however today's breaky of coconut chai porridge with seasonal fruits, lovingly made by Angel, was heaven sent and my chai latte by Guy (like all of his scrumptious drinks and cakes) was divine. Everything is organic and made with such thoughtfulness. All the staff are so considerate and caring, it's such a pleasure to visit and enjoy their delicious food and drinks.

I've been to this cafe twice, and twice too many. The first time was before the new owners took over and we had the same two staff on both occasions. The guy was nice enough, but the cook/behind house was a miserable piece of work and muttered rude things under her breath on BOTH OCCASIONS about our orders / food requests. We waited way too long for our food in a cafe and the meals were below average, you could tell there was absolutely no love involved in making what should and could of been the most delicious, organic and creative meals. Then I decided to go again to check the place out after the new owners took over and it was exactly the same let down, if not worse. I ordered takeaway and pointed to the slice I wanted in the display, but they went back into the kitchen and got an old stale version of what I ordered. When I asked if I could get a fresher one, the women was got frustrated and grumbly again! Not only that, I fathom at how they can charge $10 for a half filled container of dry spinach leaves and old stale vegetables as "3 versions of salad". I couldn't believe it. I felt like I was inconveniencing their day by being there. So rude. So unprofessional, and most of all so unwelcoming. Not to mention expensive for the average plates they serve. Never going back again, and it's such a shame. It could be brilliant. Very disappointing.

Have been here quite a few times since the new owners took over... Lovely, peaceful setting and a fantastic organic shop attached to the actual cafe. Service is fantastic and I love how they all are genuinely wanting to work there and getting along like close friends, makes the atmosphere really lovely. It's great that you can hear the music now, never use to be like this. Haven't had one dish that has disappointed, can hardly finish them there is so much on the plate. The best part is their awesome choice of teas and coffees, I'm a huge fan of their Golden Latte and Bulletproof coffee, there was even a customer on another table talking to me who had traveled from Ellenbrook just to have their Bulletproof coffee. A favourite in my book!

The Organic Circle is our new favorite cafe, with a diverse range of tastes and flavours that cater for all diets (vegan, paleo, low cab, non-specific etc) .The new owners are doing a great job transitioning the business, especially keeping on the existing staff. We find it has a quant calm ambience in which you loose all time and stress. Its nice not being rushed and pushed out the door. The team are eager to please and it seems they have thought up something new to try each time we've been there. I highly recommend the Tumeric & Bullet Proof coffees my favs (bullet proof indeed... gets the body firing up after its lull of indulgence). Definitely turned us into repeat customers, love it!

I happened to be in the area and took the opportunity to have a coffee and cake at the Organic Circle - another little cafe that pops up in reviews, blogs and vegan/raw/GF lists. Aside from the fact that they sold Bullet Proof coffee (which came out tepid) the atmosphere was a little dull. Service was friendly, music sucked and there was something really disjointed about this text book "Organic" cafe. Sorry guys.
Food Feeds The Soul
Coffee was yummy but that was the only enjoyable part of my visit to this cute little cafe.
For lunch I had a pattie and salad which was very average and not very enjoyable. Didn't eat the pattie, such a waste. Salads very boring and dry.
Originally tried to order raw, however not available. Service average, I didn't receive a friendly welcome at all. Such a shame, I work close by and really was hoping for a wonderful local...
spent a lot of time here on the weekend, killing time whilehelping people get ready for a wedding nearby.Food is interesting but considerably overpriced, staff are very helpful, coffee pretty good, interesting rage of alt-cult paraphernalia and food available for sale, anyway, not much in the way of competition in the area, so locals should be happy such a place exists.

Was a first time visit so not sure what to expect. Had a look at the menu online prior to visit which was a drive from the hills, where I live. Pick up my dad in Rockingham then onto Armadale..phew. I'm vegan, my dad is vegetarian so always keen to support places that cater for us. So... My dad picked the vegetarian pizza with salad. I opted for the Vegan burger.....with salad. Service was friendly and food arrived fairly quickly (wasn't too busy for a Saturday lunchtime). Dad's pizza was well...a small slice of pizza which could have came with a hacksaw to cut through the base. But it was more...Salad with a little bit of pizza and majorly over priced at $19. Vegan burger was pretty much a slab of Tempeh with a little salad. Very very dry. Could have done with some relish or just something to make it easier to chew. As for the salad?? Not sure a tablespoon of grated carrot and Beetroot counts as salad... But that's what it was...also $19. Considering the location I fail to see the value. I paid $23 for a full vegan pizza (which I couldn't finish) at Bib & Tucker. Delicious and an amazing location over looking the beach. That's value! So...sorry guys, won't be back..

Very cute and charming little gem hidden in Armadale. Everything is towards the pricey side but tastes "clean" and caters to a wide range of dietary requirements. I do think the Eggs Florentine brekky should've had more for $22.50 (see photos). The coffee is incredible and smooth; completely worth the price tag. The staff are knowledgeable and it's an absolute treat to visit in the morning when they are pulling freshly baked delights out of their oven.

Great cafe but also my go to place for ethical eggs and milk. They staff even got in the butter I requested. Heaps of interesting organic supplies. Love that we have this in good old Armadale!

Visited this lovely little place on a Wednesday afternoon. Not very busy which I personally like. The counter service was so warm and friendly I felt right at home!! I ordered the coconut curry and it was delicious. All the flavours were fresh and flavoursome. Whilst waiting for my meal I wandered the shop and found some incredible organic Kim chi and a raw dessert for later. Over all a great experience!!

Great!. Service was great and food came out pretty quickly. Burger was fantastic and prices were as expected...sure, a little expensive but I have never heard "organic" and "cheap" in the same sentence. Also, my burger cost the same as many others I have tried across Perth, that are not organic.

The only thing I didn't like was the coconut chai, which is definitely not worth $6. Tiny glass full of hot water and a teaspoon of chai powder, and maybe a dash of milk. Couldn't taste any coconut. Would have preferred all milk at least, but perhaps I misread the menu, and thought it was a latte not a tea. Either way, I'm getting a juice next time! Would also like to try a cake as they look amazing!
I Love Food
Loved it. I have been several times now when I'm in the area and i just love how cute this little place is.
I always get a raw cake of some sort, along with some of my organic groceries and honey.
I love the funky staff and their smiles as you walk in.
Other than the sweets I've only bought a wrap. Which was delicious.
The only negative thing i would have to say is the prices are quiet high.

But organic raw produce is always higher in price than most regular food.
Thumbs up from me

Disgusting! I could forgive the 'food' being way too expensive. I could even get over the slow service (despite being the only customer), but I can't forgive a brownie that was quite possibly the worst thing I have ever tasted. It was pure filth. Horrible. I nearly retched.

Hates it! Guy serving wasn'.... Hates it!
Guy serving wasn't knowledgable on dishes & as result was served incorrect meal. I'm not into raw food and seems all the vegan options were raw only....yeuch. Even if you are rawest, does everything on the plate need nuts in it? I ended up with nori and salad sides and every single thing on plate contained nuts and seeds. It was tedious and lacked flavour. I hate nuts!

It could have been so much better if the guy serving could have explained the food for vegans was raw as this way we could have left or asked them to cook something. Not every vego is into raw or nuts!

My husband enjoyed his asparagus and chicken toastie

Don't know what was going on with the soy milk, was it off or some organic type I've not encountered as it was like cream.

Overall the experience was YEUCH.

A great find in Armadale. Had a delicious breakfast here with Mum. Staff were friendly, big of a wait for food but lovely place to sit and the meal was worth it. Highly recommend their rice milk latte

Not so sure ..... Our small group of three visited The Organic Circle and were disappointed with the service. Our presence was not acknowledged even though there were about five people in the kitchen. When I asked if they were the Armadale version of The Raw Kitchen in Fremantle, one of the girls piped up to say they were much better, and nowhere near as pretentious, etc etc. To be honest, I don't find it professional to badmouth another business and this left us with negative feelings about this cafe. The food was ok, but overpriced and it took a long time to come out. If they are going to badmouth The Raw Kitchen, I 'd like to say that the service is amazing there, even when they are flat out and I've always been acknowledged there.

Great choice for vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free options. I have been several times, probably 5-6. I have enjoyed all the food ordered - the cakes, slices, hot and cold food... Standouts are the nori roll, the raw cheesecakes and the cashew milk. I really am happy to have somewhere in the Southeast metro with healthier options. In winter you might want to book a table inside.
They make everything on site from scratch, so I totally get that some things take longer and happy to wait. Our pot pies took about 40 minutes, would have been nice to have been advised of that when we ordered though.
Coffee is good IMO and I really like the setting in the Pioneer Village.

Such a cute little cafe with awesome health food product available to buy as well, I shared a vegetable quiche and pizza scroll with a friend and they were great. The only downfall aw as that we had to wait about 15 minutes for them to heat it so that we could take it away.

Still Hungry. Pizza is delicious, yet expensive at $9 for a tiny slice. I expect to pay for quality, organic produce, but this was not value for money. Chai latte was bitter and rainbow layer cake tasted like soap. Other desserts looked appealing, so I may be tempted to return for these.

Great coffee. Fantastic selection of vegetarian food in the cafe. Heaps of great organic items to purchase too. From vegetables to fruit to rice to facial creams. Wonderful shop. So glad it has moved into the area.

Great coffee! Delish chai too, raw vegan cakes, and lunches are beautiful quality and presentation.
Lovely organic atmosphere, where all are welcome, even the kids have been thought of! This place is a real haven for earth conscious sorts, and to even the not so conscious it just feels, smells, tastes, sounds and looks divine! The owners are clearly aiming to bring the unity back in community by supporting local producers, their shelves are lined with produce where everything has been thought out extensively, they also have a notice board for conscious events and business.
My favourite spot to take a friend and soak up the goodness of it all. Check it out!
