menu had changed, chefs are different too... quite disappointed, food aren't as good as before. Fish & chips are quite soggy and portion is small, , crispy skins pork belly is not crispy too...i think angus steak is the best among all.
Three stars because of great service at the bottle shop. Would have been 5 stars except for paying $12 for a pint at the bar Friday afternoon. Facilities are nice enough though

You don't find many unmolested old school front bars these days. They're usually demolished or over polished. This one is classic suburban watering hole. No frills, no bling no worries. Staff were very friendly and the setting really clean and fresh (recently renovated I was told) but the food was really ordinary. Beef and Guinness pies should be bursting with flavour...not this one, and the salad was limp and tired.
