Food was great and the service was okay until we had finished our entrees As there was 4 of us we thought we'd be helpful by stacking our plates ,knives and forks into the centre of the table for collection. When our mains came out we were told twice by the waitress ..please use your fork and knif
Great steak sandwich (on Turkish bread) and Narry burger. Mountains of perfectly cooked chips with both. Service was fast and friendly and the old pub was comfortable and quiet, even though it's on a major intersection.
Went there to meet a person who we had not met before. Got the drinks exactly as ordered. After the meet up we adjourned to the smokers lounge, with plenty of room. A really nice place to visit.
It's OK. Don't expect anything fantastic with regards to the food. Yes, it's pub grub but it's sad. A salad with a meal could hardly be called a salad. Very good carbonara here. The beef brisket is a tad on the salty side. Service is great, wait staff was very friendly and helpful.
