Stopped here for a meal on a Friday night whilst visiting Armidale for Day on the Green. Four of us had meals, Blue eye cod, rib eye and 2 chicken schnitzels plus garlic bread. Dining room was full as there was a lot of visitors in town looking for eats. Service was excellent and the food was superb not even close to what you would be happy with at a pub more like a fine dining venue. Well done to waiters, waitresses, bar stall and also dining room manager for making our dining experience something positive to remember.
Lovely meal! My hubby played the piano (and fixed the piano foot pedal), and it was most enjoyable. π

Absolutely amazing food! My husband said it was the best mixed grill his ever had! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive!
Meal was great value, large serving, and everything on the plate was delicious. Service from staff was excellent and very friendly. Certainly will visit again when next in Armidale.
If you get the mixed grill be prepared for a massive meal.

Amazing experience. The Chef had outdone themselves. The chips where not oily and pasta was just about right. The patrons added to the ambiance, the music was soothing, lighting was just about right. I will go back again. Loved it
Very nice decor, even in the dining area. Extremely friendly service. A tab seems the default, which is refreshing.
Beer was great. Food was big portions and excellent quality and taste. π
Services was excellent. He (staff at the bar) makes us feel very welcome when we walked in to the pub with our little well behaved pug. Most important is he can make the Best "Lemon Lime Bitter" in NSW... All of us agree with this compliment.
Mushroom sauce that was served with chicken schnitzel is also hardly beat by any....so yummy.
Will certainly come back when we visit Armidale next time. Super impressed with quality of food & drink, and friendly service.πππ
Lovely cosy atmosphere. Unfortunately the fire wasnβt going as were hoping but the quality $15 lunch made up for it. Yummo.
Warm, comfortable, quiet setting and we were certainly not expecting such a quality meal. Both steak & veggies cooked to perfection, Asian salad extremely fresh and tasty. Both desserts of smoked peaches, amazing and chocolate mousse were perfect finishers.
