Review Thai Home - Armidale

I am actually surprised at the negative reviews. Wondering whether the place changed hands during the pandemic. We ordered takeaway twice here during our short stay in Armidale. The food was tasty so we came back the second time. We picked up our food though which means we won't have to wait too long for cold food, which is what the negative reviews are about. Recommend the pad thai and pad see yu.

I highly recommend PJ Thai restaurant as the best authentic Thai food in Armidale. My family and I spent three days in Armidale and ate at PJ's everyday. This restaurant is owned by a very lovely Thai family who use quality and fresh ingredients. The service was amazing and the owner, Sam provided excellent recommendations of dishes for us. You will not be disappointed. Next time I am in Armidale I will definitely dine here again.

The food was delicious. We ordered the red curry, Pad Thai, fried rice and spicy beef stir fry and they were all amazing! The owners were super nice and welcoming and talked to us a lot, the food was cooked very quickly and all the servers and staff were amazing. Definitely worth it!

I had a Uber Eats Coupon so I didn't even pay for the meal that was delivered and it tasted great, was still warm. It also arrived within 20 minutes which felt really speedy. I'm a little confused by all the negative reviews. I didn't even pay and I got an amazing dish delivered in record time.

All I can say is Wow! The food is amazing, with very quick service. We’ve dined in-house and had takeaways, and at all occasions the standard was maintained. Loved the duck green curry!

It was a terrible gastro experience food. My kids had to eat burnt flavoured fried rice and my husband couldn't have a normal masaman curry because it was very sweet and the potato wasn't cooked at all. Such a terrible experience!!! Not recommended at all!!

Food was good! The servers (who I assume were kids of the owners) were absolutely lovely. The chef might be moody and in a bit of a hurry as we were in so much pressure to choose what we would like. A bit more hospitality may help but you know what? He is thai and I am Filo and he said "Salamat" which means Thank you in Tagalog. Which was funny and cute! Its one of the best restos in Armidale and will visit them again for sure! Experience is okay but food was great! Exterior of place was also interesting!

Worst Thai food ever! Food was over cooked and our entree under cooked. Service was appalling, had to ask for cutlery and napkins. We won't be going back ever!!!

Probably the best meal I've ever had in Armidale. I'll go back for sure, my wife and I loved it.

Ordered home delivery of 2 Green Curries EXTRA HOT(1 beef, 1 chicken) and a Panang Curry MEDIUM and entree of Money Bags totalling $68. Firstly it took over an hour to arrive, then on arrival we recieved curries but no entree and upon opening we found one of the curries was only half full... this curry cost $16 dollars for small plastic container which in itself ia fine but not for a half full container. Called back the restaurant and was told they would replace the half full curry and bring the money bags. ANOTHER HOUR later and they arrive with yes the money bags and yet another half full container... There was no spice to speak of at all in the EXTRA HOT curries... let alone the medium. Our sauce was split in the Green Curries and was all just bland sauce and little if any meat and vegetables. Defunately a major dissapointment for a total cost of $68 for 3 curries and 4 money bags!!!

Lovely service, very accommodating. The food was beautiful fresh! We'll certainly be going back
