Yummy food for Japanese people and the service is pretty good. Not that expensive.I hope you like it and you can drink Japanese drinks and I think it is not loud at all.
Nothing crazy amazing here but good standard Korean-Jap style food. Probably about 80% of the time I went, I would get the sushi set. It comes with udon or soba and sushi at under $15. Don't know if it's terrific value, but it's good enough for a nice lunch. There are a couple of lunch specials that I've tried also which were around the $10 mark and portions were filling. Most recently I tried the salmon lover bento box which was satisfying both in the taste and size department. Also I'm pretty sure they give you miso soup at no extra cost when you order something that doesn't come with anything soupy. Overall a tasty eatery with good service that was a quick nice place for lunch.
The food was excellent, great standard for Japanese food. I've had a lot of Japanese in my time, and this was a quality feed. Fresh, and very quickly served. The restaurant itself could do with a bit of jazzing up, but the food and service was great. I recommend it to everyone who likes Japanese, and at a good cost.

I’m not sure when the name changed happened, but only realised during my recent visit, that Tatsuya is now Haru. However, everything looked the same, which includes the decor, interior and menu items.
The dishes here are consistently of good quality, and the service is always welcoming, cheerful, friendly and attentive. They certainly make their customers feel welcomed with a complimentary miso soup – a very lovely touch.
I usually order the sashimi platter, or with a sushi combination, and it’s always nice and fresh. The sushi rolls are delicious and are a substantial size. I particularly like the grilled salmon roll, which has that nice smoky flavour.

I'd never thought I could overdose on sashimi - until now. We normally consume it as a side dish or as an entree, but we just couldn't resist the 32 piece deluxe sashimi platter at Tatsuya , a Japanese sushi bar in Artarmon.

If there is a suburb in Sydney that can pass for a haunt for good, honest Japanese food, then Artarmon in the lower north shore would be it.
The addition of Tatsuya , which already has an outlet in West Ryde , complements Wakana, the yakiniku restaurant next door. Across Hampden road on the other side of Artarmon train station is Sushiya which has since taken on an additional shoplot next to its original joint. Two doors down is Rahmen Genki, famous for churning out bowl after bowl of piping hot ramen noodles to the locals.
Great value and terrific food. This is our standard "don't want to cook" dinner option. Fast service, and delicious fresh and simple food make this small local restaurant a winner. They deal well with small or large groups, the largest group I went with was 12 people and normally we go as a table of four. I'd recommend the sashimi and the soft shell crab salad. The only complaint is that sometimes the wait staff seem to have trouble figuring out how many plates we might need (for eating off) or maybe they don't realise we will share dishes. However this is usually sorted out with little fuss once we make our needs known. Good value, the 4 of us usually spend about $65.
Lovely Japanese restaurant in Artarmon. Love their chicken and rice lunch special. Reasonable price and portions.
Attended here for dinner, had sashimi as an entree and a Bento Box as a main. The food was delicious and the proportions were good. Staff were very attentive, and the meals came out quickly. The food was slightly pricey but otherwise a good experience. Will try to return.
Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box and Soft Shell Crab salad was very good! I didn’t expect it to be so good especially judging the restaurant from outside. I am pleased and hopefully be back for more.
The food was consistently good. Customer service was always nice too. I will definitely return to try the other menus.
