Been here few times and really enjoyed. Each time we were there it was pretty quiet in the restaurant but you could see lots of UberEat guys coming and going. Staffs are friendly, food is delicious and reasonably priced so if you feel like Indian food at casual atmosphere, try Tandoori Town.
One of those places with very high quality food in a modest setting. Quiet atmosphere and standard eatery but DELICIOUS FOOD. We had a range of curry and entrees and I loved them all.
Standouts: samosas and onion rings from entree menu and the Aloo Gobi curry from mains. Also staff were very nice!
We have been regulars at this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. It's quiet, the food is excellent and the service is friendly. The prices are extremely modest. What more can more can ask for? Well if you go for decor, you've chosen the wrong place - but otherwise it's great.
Delicious Indian food at a very reasonable price. Both the curries were very flavoursome, but balanced and nicely spicy. The paneer in particular is excellent, very soft and fresh.
Always be a delicious food and also the chef is very friendly. So happy to give us complimentary ice creams and also a cheaper and good food than others restaurant. Will be there again.
Tandoori town delivers authentic, delicious Indian food. It is truely delicious, you need to try it to understand how good a curry can be (albeit a bit too salty for my liking). On top of this, the prices are fantastic, along with great service in restaurant.

One of the better beef vindaloos and mind blowing butter chicken we had in Melbourne. Complemented by a tall glass of buttermilk. There used to be a very hard working young Sardar kid who used to wait tables. His service and conversations were really good and that made us always smile.

Love this place, the food is brilliant and very reasonable. We came home with 2 containers of left overs! Try the pea rice and the sag paneer, delish!
Best Aloo Gobi going around! Haven't found anything else that comes close. Everything here is delicious and consistently good. Love this place!
Delicious Indian meal in Ascot Vale. Simple place, friendly staff and reasonable prices are a no brainer if you're in the area. I recommend their cumin rice which was a great addition to our meal.
Authentic food. Authentic indian food...
I had eaten out almost all indian restraunts around melbourne.. but this one is the best...
Great Experience.. We visited this restaurant yesterday and truly loved it. Authentic delicious food for reasonable price ( loved the Dal Makhani). Excellent service by polite and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again .
Highly recommend this place .
Great curries at reasonable prices - good vegetarian options too.
Love it! I would highly recommend the pumpkin masala - I had it vegan and it was delicious.
Ordered delivery online, arrived in timely manner, curry was hot but not overly so, pretty much perfect level for us, my husband said it was the best curry he's had since we managed to go to his fave restaurant interstate. Will definitely order from here again.
I'll give AICC a "thumbs up" because in general we were happy with our meal and the service was friendly, if a bit odd. We ordered for take-away: a cheese naan, aloo paratha, 1/2 tandoori chicken, samosas, spicy palak paneer and rice. The cheese naan, as previously mentioned in a review, was rather lacking cheese. But good flavors in general for the breads and wonderful spices in the samosas. We found the tandoor chicken a bit bland, but were so full from large serves that we ate it the next day as leftovers; we'll order it again to see if its flavors perk up the night it's made. The palak paneer was wonderful, with a well-balanced, strong spinach flavor (a nice change from the over-creamed version one usually finds here) and a moderate spice.
My only hesitation is the atmosphere. We were joined in our wait for the food by a young-ish boy (well behaved and polite) who was watching cartoons on a rather large screen overlooking the entire restaurant. It was just a very odd scene for an Indian restaurant; more commonly found in the dreaded pub/playground combination Australians love so much, it gave a decidedly unwelcoming vibe to anyone considering eating in. Which is perhaps why the restaurant was deserted throughout our 20 minute wait. But for the cartoons, it could be the sort of place we meet friends after work during the week for a meal.
Either way, we're happy to try their other dishes, for take-away, please- especially since they're a short walk from the house.
Another satisfied vegetarian dinner!. I had recently been to the Seabrook branch and thoroughly enjoyed the food! I am a vegetarian and therefore naturally love Indian food! So, I decided to try the Ascot Vale branch and this was without fail, successful in enticing me! This time I tried the Aloo Gobi- which was a brilliantly spiced cauliflower and potato curry, and I tried Malai Kofta which was a beautiful creamy tomato curry with homemade potato dumplings, which was mild and quite nice. I of course had to relive the excellent flavours of the Cheese Garlic Naan, but also tried the Potato Garlic Naan, which succeed in impressing me! For dessert I had the Kheer- a wonderful and aromatic sweet rice pudding. Wonderful to take away, not sure about dine in, but I just took it back to my couch at home and relaxed with this amazing food!!!
It's restaurants like AICC that make Melbourne great. No pretence, no fuss, no ambience, just good food (cheap). Highly recommended.
Hi.... I love eating indian food. i have been to All India Curry many times and being an very good customer. i would like to say that the food is so delicious and tasty. the service provided by staff members is great. being an customer over from last 3 years i would say that it is one of best indian food i have ever tasty........it is not that expensive as we can compare to other restaurants.
thanks for your good service.......
see you soon....
Unbelievable food & the best friendly service - that's all we need to keep coming back!
Decor nothing to write home about but such friendly service and home cooked indian food -always go here for our indian fix.
Awesome Time. The people are very friendly and the Paneer Pakoras (cheese balls) were really nice. For the mains chicken masala was perfectly spicy for me and i highly recommend it for anyone who likes a little spice, The lamb korma was tasty for my child and will be well suited for those who can not handle the spice. I always look forward too the traditional naans that are cooked in the tandoor as the garlic naans are my favourite. the gulab Jaman are a delightful treat after the lovely meal. everything is given at a more than generous proportion and is very cheap i cant wait to take my family again.
Pretty good place. Have had a couple of times, delivery and pick up. Place isn't very bright. Definetly take away the curtains. Other than that, pretty good curry.
Great prices, super quick service as friendly staff! Awesome food an very tasty!! Will be my regular indian restaurant!
Yep mark me down as a fan EXCEPT for the tandoori chicken. Not flash at all the night we had it. The rest of the meal good without being terrific but given the reasonable prices that's plenty good for me. Service was friendly though sparing I would encourage the owners to A) get rid of all the crap on the front window to entice the THOUSANDSof people who commute past it every day and B) get rid of that bloody television!
Fantastic little Indian restaurant, we come time and time again, and every time it's great food, the most welcoming service and ridiculously cheap prices. Highly reccomended!
Indian Cheap Eats. This is a good place for a cheap night out - but do not expect lovely ambience or a meal to die for. Remember, you will get what you have paid for. I have found the food to be tasty, with good sized portions. The swervice can be a little hit or miss but they are friendly and accommodating. (Turned up with a large group and they quickly pushed tables together for us). I like the food and service here!
Consistently nice. We've had fundraising events at this restaurant before. There's a reason why we keep coming back. The staff are friendly and supportive (always donating money of their own to the cause) and up for a chat. The paneer pakora is incredible, I'd love to know what spices they use on it. Pumpkin masala is nice too. And there's a big vegetarian menu. But the best thing is the PRICES! Under $10 per vegie meal, seafood for about $15 when in most places you'd pay double that. A friend and I went there once and got enough for a filling dinner AND lunch the next day for $28 between us. Great place!
Hi I have very good experience with all India curry comp. Food is awesome service is very fast..I never had like this food before in my life I am eating food from this restaurant last 3 years Every Boby looking for cheap food , good service , good food they are with them I think this is best curry point in the town every one should try one time
Fantastic food. The food at All India is excellent. The quality is consistent, price very reasonable. The all you can eat buffet is very good. This is a top notch venue.
Great food, great service, great prices. Try this place once and you will be like us and continue to return. Not trying to blow smoke up their arse because they dont really need it.
Dont believe me? Dare you to try the Vindaloo or Captain Special, Pumpkin Marsala and contact me and tell me I'm wrong (look, no affiliation with these guys just like the food).
Compare it to other good curry houses, say, (Chinatown) you know the one, and these guys will kill on taste and it will cost you 1/3-1/2 price.
Just do it.
Great curry. The curry here is good and i recommend it to everyone the prawn masala is tasty and the rogan josh. the naans are fresh and stright out of the oven.
great service great place
Rad. Cheap and super tasty. delivered really quickly. couldn't fault it. my new friday night regular...
In Good Company. Received a menu from the "All India Curry Company" the other day, and decided to try out their delivery service after a few disappointing curries from other Indian Restaurants in the Moonee Ponds area of late.
A serve of Onion Bhujia were very good, comprising lightly battered & subtlely spiced onion rings which had been deep fried. These were distinctly different from the similarly named Onion Bhajis which generally involves balls of batter mix featuring diced onions being deep fried. A serve of Aloo Bonda, potato balls with lentils & fresh herbs were pleasant enough. Their version of Chicken Tikka was a little on the dry side and lacked any discernable flavour.
Moving onto mains, the Beef Vindaloo was very enjoyable and had a nice amount of heat as requested. A curry chicken was reasonably good and a mixed vegetable sabji wasn't too bad either. All the curries were decent sized servings, the quality of the meat in the dishes was good and the prices more than reasonable. The accompanying rice and roti bread were as one would expect.
Overall, I felt the food delivered rated fairly well, especially for the prices being charged. My entire order of three entrees, three curries, two serves of plain rice and roti bread came to a grand total of $47.50 with no charge for delivery.
