Decided to call in to the new Coriander Thai Kitchen last night and what a surprise . We arrived not having a booking but the friendly staff at the front made us welcome and where able to find us a seat allocation . The atmosphere was great with being able to view the action in the cooking area was really different. We found the food presentation really different even the Chicken Satay s come to the table with a unique sauce. The plate sizes off food made it great value and suggest this restaurant is worth a look in .
I don’t review very often, but I just had to give this place a 5 star review. The food is super fresh and so tasty! I’d even go as far as to say it’s probably the best Thai I’ve ever had. You will not be disappointed.

The staff welcomed us and quickly showed us to a table, even though we hadn't booked, the service was prompt and the food was aromatic and flavoursome. My favourite was the Goong Pad Prig Klua ~ wok tossed prawns with a green curry chicken rice. Sooooooo yum. The overall modern vibe of this place is really charmimg and we look forward to returning soon to work our way through their fine menu!

Great food, plenty of parking, and large servings. Plus friendly, and attentive staff. With the authentic Thai taste I crave occasionally. Their satays are good, but I prefer their salads.

Love everything about this place.
The Coriander Thai Kitchen well exceeded our expectations. We are really fortunate to have such a delicious restaurant so close to home. We had the Tom Yum, Thai beef salad, the new duck spring rolls and the Massamun beef curry. None of the dishes disappointed. The chilly heat was perfect in the Tom yum and we’ve enjoyed it on many trips to Thailand and this one did not disappoint. The duck rolls with the dipping sauce was superb and you could tell that the dipping sauce was home made. Thai beef salad another faultless dish and the Massamun was so tender you could pull it apart with the fork and spoon. I can’t forget the service which was courteous, well informed and attentive and not overly attentive. We will definitely be back and will take advantage of the takeaway and home delivery service. 5 stars ⭐️
I had the awesome Pad Krapow with prawns. Flavour, texture and level of heat were bang on. Can't wait to try more dishes from here, Definitely will be ordering again

Stopped here for a dinner on a Saturday night and it was buzzing. Walking in your greeted with lovely customer service and a fresh interior feel. Seated in the back next to the open kitchen it was a little back of the shop feel with the kitchen door next to our table with quite dull lighting however was not a dealbreaker.
On the menu tonight for Appetizers was vegetarian spring rolls, money bags and calamari. The spring rolls were perfectly crunchy, aswell as the money bags the calamari was good however the batter ended up being slightly soggy resulting in no crunch which is preferably desired.
For the mains the fried rice (vegan), pad Thai (vegan), crying tiger, Panang curry (beef) and Pad Nammun Hoy
Th Pad Thai was deliciously classic, hot flat noodles with tofu and vegetables and plenty of bean sprout. The fried rice was also a lovely compliment as a side as well as the crying tiger from the grill which had lovely porterhouse steak. The major highlight of the night was the Panang curry, the sauce created was beautifully warm and creamy, delighting the senses with a slight spice, this resulted in a lot of bowl scraping for the last remains of the sauce!

Great food; more unusual than your average suburban Thai. Well-priced. Service was excellent. Menu changes regularly to include dishes from all around Thailand. We've been twice and loved it each tie. We'll certainly be going back!
Delicious food and friendly staff! The pad tofo with homemade sauce is to die for! We even received a complimentary side dish which was a lovely surprise.
Delicious Thai and good service! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and looks great. We have dined here several times and food has always been great. They often give complimentary starters as well. Love the Penang duck curry and chicken and cashew nuts. This place is definitely better than its 2.8 review.
Very cute place with great decor! Friendly wait staff and my meal came quickly. I had coconut rice and a yellow curry which was the best yellow curry I’ve ever had! Looking forward to trying more of their dishes.
Ordered through UberEats. Order came quickly and competently. I ordered chicken spring rolls, chicken satay sticks, pad thai, beef green curry and coconut rice. Everything was very tasty. The satay sticks in particular were grilled to perfection with a delicious non-peanut butter satay sauce. The only fault to all of it was the coconut rice was a little gluggy and bland. But everything else was spot on. Recommended.
We came here last night and it was definitely worth it! The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Will be recommending this place to friends and returning soon!
Went to this brand new restaurant in Ashburton last night. A brilliant night! Happy and helpful staff serving delicious food with generous Thai hospitality. Will definitely be going back! Decor and lighting all made did a great Night with our neighborhood friends! Welcome to Ashburton!
