The food was quick and delicious ! Not only this, but the serving size is very large and is reasonably priced! Very worth your money, definitely coming back :)
I love the fried rice and pork chop here. The owner is very friendly and the food is delicious. I always order takeaway there and the food is quick and always yummy.
Great place for when you have that craving and want something take away. Certainly one of the better Chinese places nearby, with generous expected portion sizes and use of fresh produce., They are reasonably priced if you are ordering the simple lunch specials or wok noodles. However, probably because the menu is otherwise overly varied, other dishes can prove to be priced at a la carte restaurant prices with only take away quality and service. I know this is fast becoming a more affluent area, but I know plenty of people who prefer genuine dishes at a good price. In the end unless I need something in my local area, I think I would travel a couple of suburbs over to have Chinese dishes created with Chinese people in mind as customers, and not the semi westernized 'aussie' style Chinese cooking. If I want reheated frozen dumplings I can get that at a supermarket for a third of the price and steam them myself.
If you come here, stick to the wok dishes.
The Szechuan Chicken is among the best I've ever had, will definitely be trying everything else the menu.

The gentleman behind the counter is truly the namesake of this business. The man IS the KING of the WOK. No questions asked, the way he moves skillfully between ingredients, gracefully steaming, boiling and frying your food to perfection is a work of art in itself.Once you open the treasure that is a KING WOK noodle box, you are greeted with an aroma that is unmistakable quality that comes from fresh ingredients and a skillful hand. The noodles and dumplings leave you wanting nothing more than to get on your knees and praise the good lord who put KING WOK in such a central location in Ashburton.Hail the king!
Food is so nice. My father practically lives there. My gf and I even offered to get him some Chinese food because we were getting some. However he already had some Chinese food! Was a little upset he didn't offer, but did find it funny he was thinking the same thing as us. LOL.xxx

This place just launched as a kebab shop it it is called hannah kebab home style Grill & Kebabs it is no longer a Chinese shop new owners I got a large HSP it fed the whole family so good value the meat was lean and tender chips wer cooked properly I will be back again

portion size is generous. not the most authentic chinese food but under 10 bucks you will not regret.
