Service with a smile, coffee, drinks are reasonably priced, have tried their almond nut scrolls which are nice, yummy and reasonably priced. Will have to try one of their cakes one day.

What can I say Ashburron locals! New owners, fresh beginnings! There is owned by Jenna and Stephen a husband and wife business whom are always in the shop which ensures you are always dealing with the boss! Both so passionate about what the deliver in terms of freshly baked culinary delights! The baked goods are simply divine for those locals that haven't popped in! They even make Nutella donuts , keeping up with the high society crazes! We have been buying all our family birthday cakes from here since moving to ashburton 8 years ago, I'm always asked where do I get them from? They are just like the old fashioned fluffy sponge with jam and cream and heavenly icing! Even non cake lovers can't resist a slice! I went to purchase a sponge off the shelf for a late birthday request and they had already just sold the type I required.Being late morning, they kindly offered to bake me one by the afternoon!!! Now i know why they called their business Freshly Baked! Where do you get such exceptional customer service these days!!. It's still busy and bustling when you go in there but there's always the added smile of Jenna or Stephen when you go in. Love love love this bakery! This is a must if you're a local!!
I have been to this shop many times and always get great service. Their cakes are great but their tarts are awesome. Best coffee in Ashburton. New owners have made a real improvement. Enjoy.

Good local bakery with great food and coffee. The wife loves the pumpkin and spinach tart especially! The service is good and the bake is fantastic.

This is a great cake shop. They make the most sumptuous apple pies, gluten free cakes and lots of other goodies. Good coffee and the staff are delightful.
