Delicious food and nice staff. Food came quickly and was presented well. Great location, right next to the station. They lost a point because it’s cash only.
Amazing that after years of living in the Ashfield area we only stumble on this place now after moving. Dining in we had a couple of $8.90 noodle dishes for lunch - Pad See Ew (1 chicken & 1 veg). The serves were great (big lunch!) and the service friendly. There's tables in the front room and also a couple in the back courtyard.
I eat here regularly. Small place but solid Thai food. King prawn tom yum is my favourite. Service its friendly. Just nothing extra special.
Tasty, quick, fresh Thai meals. Fresh meals on demand and reasonably priced with a smile. Wide range of classic dishes. What's more to ask of a Thai restaurant?
Went here for the lunch special. I had the Chicken Pad Hokkien, it was OK. A bit plain and low on ingredients exclusive of the large serving of noodles of course. Really, what was in the dish was pretty average. It is self service with regards to water, so if you don't mind, you can get refills easily and quickly.
Nice outdoor garden.
Good food and with a reasonable price.
Service could be a bit better as you will need to order at the cashier.

You can find this joint just a short walk away from Ashfield station. This is the Mickey mouse of Thai restaurant. Despite it's mini size, the quality of the food is very very good.
We ordered Kra Pao Gai Sub, Thai Number 1 Chicken BBQ, Thai No 1 Seafood. Every single dish meets or exceeds our expectation as the ingredients are fresh and the portion is good enough to satisfy our hunger. Please note that the dish does not include rice so you have to order separately. They also only take cash payment.
Bottom line : Great Food. Good service. Good value for the quality.
You can't go wrong with the yellow chicken curry here, it's a must have! But if you are into noodles I would suggest the chilli basil with flat rice noodles.
The staff are attentive and the food is always quick to get out. It's best to go at lunch time when they have $8.90 deals, and get a seat in the courtyard through the back.
Small local Thai restruarant that has a pretty good variety on their menu. Usual order of pad thai, green curry and chicken cashew nut never fails to satisfy! The price is average, what you would expect in the suburbs. The desserts here are a bit of a bust, usually in take away containers and not appealing. They do sell thai curry pastes so makes it convenient to pick some up :) There's also a small enclosed garden out the back which is good in the the spring and summer. Note they only take cash!
This place is quaint and has that family ran feeling. Most people take-away. Food is of a good standard and great pricing for a family meal.
Pretty good thai food,it tastes different to other places but in a good way! There is a beer garden at the back but now that it's winter it's squishy indoors!
Service is iffy with staff on the phone taking orders often,I had to get my own plate!

Meh - Good for voucher and takeaway only.. Food is on par with every other small Thai restaurant out there. Good value for money, decently sized servings, open til late. Some places stand out, this isn't one of them.
More curry puffs please!. This place has a nice atmosphere. It's a bit cramped inside and can get quite busy at dinner time, which means service takes a little longer, but otherwise not a bad place to eat. I agree the Pad Thai noodles were lighter in colour than what I'm use to and not quite as flavoursome but I don't think this greatly detracted from our enjoyment of the meal. The curry puff pastry was the standout of the night. Light and flakey, something I would definitely recommend. The beef and potatoes in the Massaman curry were tender and the mild sauce added the desired flavour. I'm not accustomed to Thai desserts and find the sweet and savoury combination don't sit well with my palate, but if you haven't tried sticky black rice or sago pudding before, it's definitely something to do. Overall the staff were friendly enough and the food reasonably priced so somewhere I would probably visit again.
Came here on a groupon voucher (entree, main, dessert each) staff were friendly and food was nice. Not the best Thai food but definitely worth the price. Portions are quite large.
This is a decent little thai place to visit with a friend if you want somewhere quiet. The food is tasty and the portions are average. Good value for money.
Definitely No. 1 Thai in Ashfield. We had chicken satay, chicken laksa and chicken pad Thai, all of which were fresh and delicious. Serving sizes of the laksa and pad thai were plentiful. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. You order at the counter which I actually prefer, especially as this place is usually pretty busy. They also do home delivery and cheap lunch specials.
Excellent vegetarian options. The lemongrass tofu is particularly awesome.
Very pleasing. This is a great place that is quick and friendly. If you call up your order at Redfern, by the time the train arrives at Ashfield, your meals ready. Only thing is that it's cash only.
The food was great for the price. Large servings so be read to eat a lot or to share. Idealistic for couples or families. Don't be fooled about the small dining front, they have an amazing garden dining area at the back. The only bad thing to note is that it opens at 5pm not what was written on the signs out the front that state 4pm. I'll be back for take-a-way.
If you're an Indian and if you'd like to have a chicken soup ask them to add less salt than usual.
Great little restaurant, we called ahead and booked a table the panang curry was delicious loved the spices and the favour profile. BYO wine 🍷 which suited us. It is self service, so be prepared to help yourself to water and glasses etc, and you need to order at the counter. The food was fresh, hot, very enjoyable. Firm four stars, we will be back.
Reasonable place with reasonable food. Good servings. Staff could be a bit more friendly and take a bit more time to ask you how are things and if you would like anything. Food was good and would eat again but nothing special that jumped out at me on the menu. The chicken cashew with rice was good but the beef chilli pot with vegetables was very oily and hard to eat. Springs rolls were the best things we had. On street parking if you can get it.
Good sized portions. Great value lunch special offers. Tasty pad thai. Delivery is very slow, best to do pick up or dine in.
The food was decent, that's accounting for the egg shell in my dish. The service was what one expects from a quick lunch place.
The iced coffee however was excellent.
