We had our engagement party here on the weekend and couldnt be happier with the level of service we received from staff. Leading up to the night they couldnt be more helpful with organising everything we needed to make it such a perfect night to remember. Thank you to all staff for being so amazing. Will definitely recommend benowa tavern to other friends and family in the future.

We ate in the Bistro last night and we were totally impressed with how tasty and well cooked our meals were. My partner had steak cooked to perfection and I had truffle gnocchi. Super impressed with how quickly our meals come out as well, in under 10 minute wait time at peak hour of the night. Compliments to the chef and staff..we will definitely be back �

I can not rave enough about how amazing the staff,venue,food & security guy and affordable it was.
They made it so easy to organize as we live in Cairns I was abit stressed about particulars.
I shouldnt had because the staff took care of everything, even setup was sorted!

We had a great time at a friends daughters birthday Party. Ally was an amazing host, friendly, efficient and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The food was out quickly and also yummy and the bar staff were all super friendly. Fantastic place for a get together for any event!

Great family Tavern and has an awesome public bar with friendly staff. Really cheap lunches mon to thurs and great function spaces. The back deck is beautiful.
A good venue for large groups & families. The bistro has a good range of meals & they seem to cater especially well for those bringing children. (Indoor playroom, outdoor playground, kids eat free deals & colouring in.)
I enjoyed a chicken burger (grilled tenderloins, cheese, red onion, spinach, guacamole & aioli) - it was delicious.
He enjoyed the beef burger, from the lunch special menu. At $15 each they were good value.
We've enjoyed lots of other dinners here too. Good value local pub food.
Great meals and a great place to take the kids. Extensive kids menu and I highly recommend joining the kids club to, for extra bonuses. My meal was great, menu very good, with a wide variety of meals available.
After some unpleasant dining experiences I was hoping a good pub meal would do the trick and Benowa Tavern did not let me down.
Easy online booking system and we’re seated quickly next to a rowdy group of lads so asked if we could move - no dramas at all.
Ordering system is at the table via the QR code.
Was told before searing that mains were 40min wait so ordered starters immediately.
Oysters Kilpatrick were delicious. Got the chicken schnitzel for dinner and swapped over the salad with coleslaw. The slaw had a funny taste to it but didn’t ruin the meal.

Starting to try a few of the Taverns outside the usual. This place is a great example of an ALH pub. Great menu, sports and gaming.
The beer garden is stunning. Peaceful, green, calming - we love it!
The food was quick and super tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. We just moved here and after one visit, we are content we’ve found our new local!

Had a wonderful experience at benowa tavern, I took the kids with me there was plenty to keep them occupied and the food was amazing, personal shout out to staff members James and Tirane for there excellent service and positive attitude 🙏🏼 Will definitely go again

My friends and i came in Saturday for a drink and the service from Piper and Kirra was amazing! They made us feel so welcome. The food quality was great and the service was so fast! Would definitely recommend Benowa Tavern to everyone, will be back for sure!
