Review Tandoori Nite Indian Restaurant Asquith - Asquith

I personally really like this restaurant. We went for a casual and low key saturday night dinner and it was just perfect. The restaurant is nice and cosy and you feel at home. Tables are also spaced well which is nice. We ordered the pakora for starters and bhuna ghosht and chicken biryani for mains. All dishes were excellent. The pakora was nice and crunchy and hot on the inside. The mint chutney served with it paired very well. The biryani had great authentic flavours and delicious coriander and capsicum. Loved the flavour of the biryani, also served in a generous portion. The Lamb was a little spicy but perfect for my partner and I, just the right amount of heat and super tender lamb. We got the gulab jamun for dessert which was nice and warm, sweet and a perfect way to finish off the dinner. The couple who run it were super welcoming and were ready to make great suggestions. The service from all staff was very good. We will definitely be coming back to try some more food here. Best of all, the bill was very reasonable too.

Immaculately Clean and modern restaurant. Received excellent service from professional and welcoming staff. Plenty of table water without the need to ask. Given exactly the right amount of time to view the menu. We all chose something different from an extensive menu and every dish was absolutely delicious. No pressure to leave the restaurant at all after we finished our meal. We will definitely return and will whole heartedly recommend to friends.

We had heard great things about this new place and gave it a go. We’re really really really satisfied with not only the delicious food but the amazing service from the team. The restaurant was clean, and had a very nice atmosphere, the team were friendly, clean and happy. The food was amazing, best garlic cheese naans we’ve had in a long time. Butter chicken cooked very well, chicken was moist not dry and not too spicy. Chicken tika was also really nice! Thank you!!

Arguably the best Indian food on the north shore. We order by phone and the food is always ready on time. The restaurant always looks clean and tidy. Always has a crowd in on Friday and Saturday nights, half would be from that part of the world, not sure about the rest of the week.

Ordered from here tonight, ordered online at 5pm no mention of delivery not starting until 6pm. I ordered 2 x mixed platters for $30 total, each came with only 1 samosa, 1 piece of chicken, 1 small chicken seekh kebab and 1 lamb cutlet.....for $15, come on what a rip off! The lamb curry wasn’t fresh either complete waste of money, never ordering from here again, suggest you try Khana Khazana further down the street, much better value!!

I ordered from here on Menulog because I saw the 4.5 star rating, and I was super excited! The curry and Naan's I ordered were delicious; the curry in particular, was flavoursome, and the naans were cheesy, too, as I requested. That's where it ends, really. I would have given 2 stars for the restaurant but I added 3 because of the fast delivery. This place lost 2 stars because the lamb dish I ordered was meager, and it cost a whopping $26 odd buckeroos. The lamb chops were 5-6 small pieces... nay, overcooked, small pieces of lamb with tasteless marinade - tikka? tandoor sauce? I paid for the main meal - and it was literally 5-6, dry lamb chops wrapped in foil - with a little mint yoghurt sauce as accompaniment...which is nothing substantial in light of the hefty price tag. Apart from this, I was happy with the other meal choices, and will come to the area to try first hand. Hopefully, I leave completely satisfied! P.s. I should mention - props to Menulog for great service options and fast delivery from the drivers. I don't know what I'd do without you guys!

The food was superb and whilst it might seem a bit expensive for some dishes, the portions and flavours were fantastic. The Fish Goan stew so good! Tommy has another restaurant near Hornsby station that has been going for years which his wife now runs whilst he is cooking at the Asquith restaurant. People of Asquith make the most of this restaurant which is on your doorstep! The service is great to and I love the simple almost fine dining feel to the restaurant! Highly recommend it! Jeni Law

Chicken Madras was tender and juicy, lovely flavours, steaming hot. Cheese naan was just as delicious slightly on the greasy, heavy side so might stick with the plain or garlic naan next time. Kashmiri pulao was delightful.
