The best coffee on the beaches by far, always served by efficient smiling staff. The blonde lady who works there is exceptional, always happy to have a chat.

One of my friends (whom is a regular visitor at The Sneaky Grind) recommended me this café. I had a regular cappuccino there last Friday and WOW, what a tasting experience. Will go back there and will try the food also.

Who doesn’t love a cafe hidden down a lane way? The James Bond element of secret discovery is strong, if a little deluded.  There are after all, signs pointing the way to this cute local cafe. 🤪There's that "ooh, a little bit Melbourne" charm, but thankfully we have the weather to eat al fresco for all of the year. (I’ll say that for my first winter, no doubt next year I’ll be complaining when it drops below 20)

I’ve stopped by a few weeks ago for just a takeaway coffee and wasn’t so thrilled with the fruity style, as I've said before, that's about me. However a second visit where we stopped in for brekky was more promising. So there aren’t a lot of options for brekky (very small kitchen) so we chose one cooked option and one sweet option. Pretty standard food, nothing terrible, nothing amazing. Lovely staff and great venue. Dog friendly too. If you aren’t after a big feed or a wow foodie experience, but a great friendly cool cafe experience, then this is great option. Def will give it another go and will update if lunch turns out to be wow

BEST COFFEE IN AVALON Stumbled on this tiny place next to the Red Cross op shop, hidden down Chelsea Lane. Great coffee (comparable with the best in Melbourne) served by a young a laid back crew, with tables inside and out. Oh, and there's an art galllery out the back!
