Possibly the best fish I’ve had in a long time. Super fresh and crispy batter. Amazing. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu.
This is the most authentic fish and chips I have ever eaten. The fried shrimp and scallops are also very good. I recommend you to try them.
Batter very thick and fish VERY dry and a waste of money.
Potato cakes are full of batter and basically no potato at all. Very Disappointed.
Back to Anchor where all food is fresh, not dry and value for money even though it may be a little more expensive. You get what you pay for!
Last night we had 3x fish and chips and I will never return it was absolutely terrible the batter on the flake had too much flour the chips where soggy and cold and had that texture the left a paste in your mouth. Sorry but not a return customer
