Their new location is nice, comfortable and well presented Have been here several times over the years and their meals are consistent. The menu hasn't changed much at all, so if you find a favourite you know what you are going to get. Place to go if you don't want to go to a Pub/hotel for a meal. Prices are about 25% cheaper with serving size only 10% smaller, so good value for money. Staff are ok , meals on the night for our and other tables came out a little irregularly for the guests at each table. Chilli cheese bread is nice and has a little kick, the Bush walkers pie had tender chunks of meat and the gravy very strong in flavour. Tandori chicken wasn't overly spicy ,barramundi was ok, Salads were simple and the chips on this occasion were terrible 70% of them were crispy hollow and saturated in oil.-
One of my favourite local haunts, Back to Bacchus not only has gluten free options on their menu, the owner is also the chef and is very knowledgeable and careful when it comes to cross contamination. From their scaloppini to the salt and pepper calamari, their risottos and curries have always been beautiful and full of flavour.
3 disabled people went last night for the first time. We were treated with respect & kind manners from all staff although we had to sit in the outside annex but that was our fault as I didn't book a table earlier. Anyway, the meals were a decent serve & of top quality. Lest be assured, we will be back and I'll probably book a table for 13 people in Feburary for my Birthday.
Overall really nice! The good is always tasty, and very reasonably priced, and usually comes out fairly quickly depending on what you order. Would recommend the scaloppine or the fish and chips!
Great Food, Servings were also sufficient for the price. Meals tasted great. Will be back again.

The staff were super friendly and promptly accommodating as we did not have a booking. I will definitely be coming back again. Beautiful old Victorian Era decor and perfect for the kids too.
We've been coming here for 5 years and whilst we love the food, the service can at times, be very poor. The waitresses need training on how to properly attend to customers. After they show you to your table, they walk off instead of immediately asking you if you'd like a drink. A standard in customer service.
Sometimes you sit there for 10-15 minutes before they come back, by then you're desperate for a drink!
One of the waitresses Lucy is excellent, but the others should look to her for guidance and professionalism.
The guy Daniel surely must recognise us after 5 years but always asks us what name we've booked under as if we are new patrons.
It's not hard to remember frequent customers names surely? He also tends to be miserable most of the time as if he'd rather be anywhere else.
The food is great, cheap with generous servings.
Just don't go there expecting timely or good service.
The service and food quality is consistently at a high level. We always look forward to returning here for a great good valued experience.

We went to Back to Bacchus restaurant on our way back form bacchus marsh cherry picking. All the food we ordered were delicious. We got the bush walkers pie, Parma, Mediterranean chicken (my favourite) & king prawns with rice. Portion sizes were quite big and filling. The vibe is ambient & perfect for family dine in. Everyone left with a full tummy and a happy face. :)
