Easily the best Indian I have eaten. Super friendly and accomodating. Make the trip out here. It's as good as any I have found in Melbourne.
Absolutely delish! Easily the best indian we've had
Lovely, tasty food, good service and reasonably priced.
Ordered a meal deal for delivery tonight & it was absolutely delicious. Great value for money! Highly recommended!!
Absolutely amazing food. Best feast I've had in a long time. Beautiful service, will definitely be back! :)
I have been here a lot of times and have never been disappointed. The food is always consistent and the service is polite and attentive. I spent a couple of weeks in India this year and the food we received while there was very similar. I have been to numerous Indian restaurants around Melbourne and this is still the favorite!
We have been here twice for dinner now and the food never disappoints! Both times I ordered the chicken vindaloo with 8/10 hotness as I love spice! The first time was amazing, the second time (with a different chef) it was a bit too hot! The pashwari naan was deliciously addictive! Prices are good as we always end up taking home leftovers! However, the waiter could improve by bringing us what we order. He gave us a rice dish when we ordered mixed vegetables and the wrong goat dish with bones when we ordered boneless. Despite this we still love the place and will be back again as the food is to die for!
Really high quality authentic tasting indian food. Always seems to be well cooked and quite interesting authentic flavours. Much better than your average local Indian
Went here twice with the lads from work, banquet was excellent and great value! Definitely the best Indian food in the Marsh, will be paying another visit next time I'm up this way!
Have spent two weeks in Bacchus Marsh for work and have now been to the restaurant twice. Both times we went with the thirty five dollar banquet which is superb. The banquet allows you to reorder anything aa many times as you like which makes it also exceptional value for money!
Very friendly staff and Very Yummy food. Gulab jamin was awesome (they didn't even pick on us for having dessert first!! We'll definitely be back!!
Excellent!. Great food here, thought it was a bit pricey for takeaway but the servings were large and the quality, aroma and taste - unbeatable! The malai kofta is definetily worth a try, probably the best I've ever tasted. Will be back next time i'm in Bacchus :)
Super tasty food, and great service! Definitely give the lamb saag a try, I don't think it's listed on the menu, but they'll make it at your request!
It's a little bit pricey, but it's definitely worth the money. My family regularly eats here and are always pleased!
Always Beautiful!!. We eat at or have take away from this restaurant once or twice a fortnight. The dishes are always beautiful and the service is wonderful!
We ordered take away tonight for a school planning meeting and as always we're not disappointed. My fav dishes would have to be butter chicken, beef Bombay and the lamb rogan josh.
Generous serving.. The restaurant itself isn't anything fancy but for people who live in the area and surrounds it's a great little eatery. It's very quiet with only one other family eating in on a Saturday night. Our waitress was rather lovely letting is know what she has tried and what she enjoyed, this give me confidence in the food and behind the scenes. Before ordering we received a papedum with 2 dipping sauces. The menu was rather extensive and with so much variety I found it hard to make a decision as to what to order so we opted for a $35 banquet. The food was rather generous. We had a entree with 2 choices, 3 main curry dishes,) naan bread, rice and dessert. We couldn't finish our meal. Each item within the banquet was flavoursome , the curry was mopped up beautifully with with rice and bread. The chef came out to ask how our meals went. Overall I was quite happy with this restaurant.
Very delicious food! Great value for money and excellent service. I am a regular dine in customer and their take away is just as good.
Authentic Indian Food. We dined at Royal Indian for dinner and we really enjoyed the food. We ordered the Chilli Chicken (A Chef special) and Beef Madras with of course, saffron rice and garlic naan.
The food is authentic, fresh and very flavourful. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant to try more of their dishes.
The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Suitable for couples, families or solo dining.
Highly recommended!
Awesome delicious food fresh good quality ingredients
The chef is friendly and makes sure your experience is the best. Nothing is too much trouble. This is now our regular indian resturant
I have never tried Indian! The lovely staff helped me through the order, I was really nervous I wouldn't like the spices but the friendly staff cooked me something they knew I would like.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I love Indian food now! My American friend said this is the best one he has eaten at!
This review does not do it justice!. This place is beyond awesome! i read the reviews prior to my visit and went in with an open-mind and was more than pleased. The food is incredible and delicious! I LOVED that it was BYO AND FULLY LICENSED. The owner was absolutely lovely and the young man who waited on us and the entire restaurant did a lovely job. (they must train them well, haha). No complaints, it was perfect! it's very reasonably priced, especially for what you get!! i recommend the 2nd banquet, we had it and it was amazing! All i can say is, if you love indian then you're in heaven! 10/10!!!!
Fantastic. Expected little but best Indian restaurant i have eaten at.
Fast and Delicious. Being a new Bacchus Marsh resident, I was eager to find somewhere tasty to eat, so my pal and I went to Royal Indians. We weren't disappointed. We ordered the Butter Chicken, a lamb dish, lemon rice, naan bread and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and once our order was taken, it was little more than 5 minutes until our meals appeared. We met the chef, who asked us how we enjoyed our meals and he was a lovely, jolly man. I'll be back - next time with the hubby and kids.
A taste of India in Bacchus Marsh. We eat at Royal Indians once every few months. The Butter Chicken is always ordered, as well as a garlic/cheese (combined) naan, roti and saffron rice.
Here is the tip... On quiet nights the owner himself does the cooking. He makes fantastic roti and naan!
Watching the Indian "MTV" is fun....never realised how good Indian pop/rap was before eating at Royal Indians.
Certainly not a "North Indian Diner" like in Sydney, nor a "Little India" like in Chadstone....but very good none the less.
Patty rates the Butter Chicken as "best ever".
Dick rates the restaurant as best Indian in the outer west.
Butter chicken was fantastic. First time we have had Indian and the waiter walked us through what to have. Great meal.

Pleasing rich curries presented well and open later than any other real restaurant in Bacchus Marsh.
Love this place!. When I was stuck living in Bacchus Marsh for about a year, I always made an effort to eat here at least once a week (usually take away) and I have never had a problem. This is by far one of THE BEST Indian restaurants I have ever been to. EVER. The food was always consistent and delicious and so much better than anything else Bacchus Marsh had on offer out there. I usually chose the takeaway specials on their pamphlets, which was great value and enough for lunch the next day.
Fantastic food! Will be back, good price, value for money delicious food!
Best Indian In the West. Royal Indian in Bacchus marsh is our favourite place to eat in the wets. The food is absolutely top notch, the garlic nan is the best i have ever tasted and Raj, our usual server, is excellent.
The deor is average, but the food and the friendly service make up for the decor.
YUM YUM TASTY. I LOVE thai and Indian food. Was in Bacchus Marsh on business 2 nights BOTH I ate at Royal Indians. I had goat curry on night 1 which I thought was tasty (I personally could have had it hotter and more coriander) BUT it was well blended and tasty. night 2 I had indi-thai prawn curry ONE OF THE BEST Indian meals I have ever had. totally yum!
service both nights was excellent.
I like this place - they can cook! Food is pretty damn good... and we're pretty damn picky eaters. Having eaten here about maybe a few hundred times over the years - I've never had a bad dish - always been great... and the kids enjoy it too (which is highly surprising). Keep up the great work guys!
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Bacchus Marsh. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience.
The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths.
Absolutely the best meal we had while in Bacchus Marsh.
Highly recommend!
