Review Thai Monsoon - Bairnsdale

Best Thai food! All food is hand made by the chef and it shows. We had the duck spring rolls, pad Thai with chicken, massaman curry and roti bread. All were fantastic and highly recommend. Will visit again when next in Bairnsdale.

Food is fine, if a bit westernised. Also quite sweet, like a lot of Thai food. Friendly, attentive staff. Pricing is a bit above average.

Stopped for a quick meal passing through. Pleasantly surprised! Fresh, beautiful Thai and thoughtful friendly service. Little touches made the experience too. Highly recommend and will be back. Next time will ask for the fully spicy experience as I think the chefs tone it down for local tastes … but still excellent.

Amazing food - especially the popcorn chicken! Extremely busy and staff run off their feet. They did their best to deliver food as promptly as they could. They forgot to take our drinks order but the delicious food made up for it!

So good! Delicious takeaway lockdown lunch gave the whole family a lift. We enjoyed a variety of noodles, stir fries, curries and rice. Thank you! We'll be back 😀

WOW Impressive... “If you’re in the area and need a feed this is it” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic friendly staff that are more than accommodating to your requests. The restaurant is beautifully setup with a relaxing ambiance and the decor is beautifully selected and placed. It’s not over the top and in your face like some places do, this place has nailed it.... very very relaxing. The Chef came out to meet and greet us upon arrival and gave his menu suggestions an pointed out his specials for the day.... The menu is well set out and has a simple but great selection of Thai dishes, the size of the menu was perfect and not overly congested with unnecessary dishes as a lot of restaurants do. 👌🏻👌🏻 Based on this we decided to order several dishes based on our pleasant experience there already.... And as I thought the food was equally as good, it came out quickly and reasonably presented. It was magnificent each plate was perfectly cooked and the flavours were spot on.... Each plate was cooked with love and you could taste the freshness in every bite. It was a party on my palette from the start to finish. Great food...reasonably priced as well. The owners should be proud of what they have put into this business, it ticks all the boxes.... for a great restaurant. I will be recommending this restaurant too some of my contacts in the Age Good Food Guide it’s definitely worth a casual hat in our hospitality industry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food doesn't taste like thai food at all. Ordered Pad See Uew, Massaman Curry, and Tom Yum. The pad See Euw is not even using Flat rice noodle, instead they use yellow noodle. Hmmm...Furthermore, the food looks like an instant seasoning food (seriously, like those you can buy from supermarket). Being Asian, been eating lots of Thai food, this restaurant food is the worst in my opinion.
