Had a fabulous shared breakfast platter, really fresh and tasty middle eastern dishes and a great selection. Staff are super nice and friendly and their Chai tea is amazing!
Really impressed with this great family run cafe - excellent service and delicious food, best coffee I’ve had in quite a while!
Our favourite cafe in the area. The breakfast options are all there including a Middle Eastern breakfast that includes all the different types of dips and condiments. The coffee is top notch too, had the new oat milk with my latte on Monday and it went down a treat. As for the family that run they are just the friendliest and always make you feel welcome. 100% it’s worth a visit.
It has a very homely feel. I loved it. Tried some authentic Syrian dishes. Ordered Shakshuka and Ful Medames(Fava beans). Dishes were served with traditional Lebanese bread and presentation was awesome. Coffee was good too. All in all a great experience. A must visit.
We went in for coffee and loved it. The cafe itself comes across quite homely, which made me doubt it but surprisingly, they had all the modern drink options (I had an almond chai latte) and were so friendly that it inspired me to write this review. I will definitely be back to try the traditional breakfast and desserts - they looked great.
Had a delicious breakfast at Levanter this weekend. The menu offered traditional breaky options and some middle eastern variations. I’m normally an Eggs and Benny guy but I thought I’d try something new. And it was great. Came with a multitude of dips and honestly best falafel I’ve ever had. The coffee and tea came with a chocolate kiss. Nice touch. Really friendly place. Give it a go.
Great little cafe. The food is fresh, vibrant and well priced. Service is friendly and coffee is amazing. I love that there is a traditional and a middle eastern menu.
The food and coffee are absolutely delicious! Matched by the lovely team who work there and the cute little courtyard we sat in out the back. I can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be coming back.
This cute Syrian cafe rates 5/5 on Google and I understand why! With two tables out the front and a cute courtyard we sat down with our puppy out the back and the owner served us water straight away and welcomed us.
We chose the sharing plate "the Levantine" and we loved every plate ans every dip. We also had the Syrian coffee which was strong and was served with cardamom and a side of Turkish delight.
Vibe was great, chatted with people at the shared table and compared notes. Will definitely be back soon for more Syrian deliciousness.
This Cafe is my favourite Cafe when we fly to Melbourne. The Turkish coffee is so delicious and authentic. The presentation is perfection, with a beautiful tray, rose petals etc makes it not only authentic but just an absolute pleasure to be in.
The owner is also so lovely and made sure we were ok.
I recommend the baklava, Turkish coffee and the heaven Turkish delights.
Great coffee, friendly service and delicious food. What more could you ask for! There's outdoor seating on the street as well as in the beautiful courtyard. It's also very dog friendly. The owners could not be more welcoming.
Love this cafe. Sam, Helen and Marcelle are great hosts. No hard feelings when I accidentally picked up Sam's phone and took it home with me either. Food, coffee are the best. Courtyard is a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Visited this place for the first time today! What an absolute delight. The service is warm and the space is inviting. I opted for the Falafel Feast + a boiled egg. The menu has many gluten free, vegetarian & vegan options. I loved the way that the platter was presented, the servings are generous and the food is fresh! The sumac on the falafel is truly something else! The courtyard out the back is really lovely and they have Wi-Fi. Thank you for such a lovely experience. I will be back!
Hospitality as good as the food and coffee ❤ Very warm family vibes. The Syrian Coffee had a lovely hint of Cardamon and the Baked Eggs "Shakshouka" perfectly warmed up a rainy day. There is also a bit of a social table in the courtyard should you fancy a yarn 👌
