Had a lovely dîner with my husband here. The food was absolutely authentic and delicious. Also a five star for the warm and attentive service. I will highly recommend the escargots à la bourguignonne and beef Wellington. hope to visit back soon.
The first experience: The lovely experience started as soon as we walking into the restaurant where we were warmly greeted by Daniel [the head waiter]. There were 6 of us and when we were seated we noted the ambiance was as if we had arrived in a French restaurant in Paris. The food: Michael & Jessica [the owners] have selected a menu that is so mouth watering, you will want to try everything on the menu, so we'll definitely be coming back again!! The food is absolutely amazing, well presented and generous portions. [And if you like Duck then you must try the Duck L'Orange! 10/10] A very special moment: Somehow, Daniel had overheard that it was our daughters birthday, so after the meal the lights dimmed and made it known to the other patrons that there is a birthday taking place, and presented our daughter with a lovely desert with a candle, and everyone there joined in the chorus and sang Happy Birthday! Over all experience: Very professional, high quality dining, lovely people - a very special restaurant indeed.
Beef Wellington succulently good…again! The chicken liver pate appetiser remains one of the best I’ve had. Escargot was very good. It’s byo only and a bit of a walk to nearest bottleo so come armed!
