A very popular spot for coffee, lunch and sweet treats. Enjoyed the Ruben and pulled brisket sandwich, both of which were delicious and very generously filled, pictured as a gluten free option. A side of tasty chips to round out the meal. Coffee was lovely and there was wife selection of sweet treats to eat in or take away. Well worth the visit!
What a great café. We’re new to the area and it was a really delicious find! I had the chicken burger and it was amazing while the wifey ordered beef rendang and inhaled it. There were two toasties on the table and the reviews were equally positive there too.
The place was pretty busy on a Saturday lunch and it’s easy to see why. We’ll definitely be back.
It was a lovely public holiday. I didn't have a plan to stop by this cafe. I didn't disappoint after all. My cappuccino was top notch. Macadamia tart was accompanied with lovely fresh cream and chocolate garnish. Now I wouldn't be surprised that why the Turret Cafe has been popular. During corona virus pandemic, it's not easy to keep the business going well but this cafe is doing great. I will be back more often.
*New owners* these guys are absolutely fantastic and the food quality is spot on and the service prompt even in the busiest of times. You have to try the Rueben with Pickle added.
